We got this board for kick training for a couple of young swimmers.

The size is good for adults AND kids -the streamline shape means all body types can get a good grip on the board. A child using this kickboard DOES go faster than the same child using a standard rounded-edge kickboard. They can cover the lane with two fewer kicks. Nice.

Very nice for hot-sun swimming -we have the yellow-colored boards; yellow does not heat up on a sunny day.

And YES! You can write the child's name on it with a Sharpie, and it sticks.

I've actually owned a one these for about 6 years + and fell in love with it. I'd like to add that I hated wearing beanies, but after I got this mask and folded it, I use it as a beanie all the time. I used it in the fire service and it never let me down. I had been looking for another one, just in case I lost my first beanie. Since I had the dark blue, I went ahead in getting the black one. Both are excellent choices in color and the beanie/mask keeps you super warm even though it is thinner that most beanies. Over time, the fabric gets even thinner and softer, which makes the mask even better. Highly recommend it! I used to use it under my fire helmet as well. If you're thinking about getting it, GET IT!

This is one of my favorite pieces of cold weather gear. The warmth to weight ratio is great. I like it a lot better than wearing a hood because it moves with my head. It is easy to carry in a pocket when it is not needed. I use it running and bicycling and it works great by its self down to a few degrees below zero Fahrenheit. If the temperature drops to around 20 below or the wind really picks up, a stocking cap on top or pulling up a sweat shirt hood over it keeps my head nice and warm. For extended everyday use, it is nice to own more than one. Since my nose tends to run a lot when the weather is cold, the Wigwam mask soaks up a lot of stuff that will in turn start to leave an odor directly under my nose. Having a couple of the masks allow me to be able to pull out a fresh one if the well used one has not made it through the wash cycle. This simple product will allow you to maintain a comfortable body temperature in cold weather with a fairly light jacket. I have accumulated quite a pile of cold weather head gear since moving to South Dakota over 30 years ago. The Wigwam Thermax caps and Wigwam Thermax masks by far get the most use. I can't think of another winter garment that will provide as much warmth in such a small package for a low price. I would give it a few more stars if they were available in the rating system.

picked this cap about five years back and it was my favorite winter cap, as it is the most versatile and confortable one I had ever worn, it keeps you warm when it should and it does not get too warm at other times, also dries fast when it gets wet. couple of years back my nephew came to visit from Florida and borrowed it while he was here in the north east. I wore these pants to a remote (meaning mosquito infected) area of the Caribbean. I got the long size, which was helpful in providing protection for my feet, too. I had no problems with the biters on my legs or feet when wearing these pants. They won't protect you from getting bit in the arms or face, though, so wear other protection. They look ok for adventure pants, but aren't fashionable enough for wearing them otherwise. I found that these pants run small. I normally wear size 6-8 in jeans and ended up getting these pants in a size 12.

I purchased these pants to bring on a trip to Belize (Bug capital of the world). I did not get a single bug bite while wearing these pants (unlike my friends). Although they are not a fashion statement (the waist is a little high), I am really glad I purchased these. They worked great in the hot and rainy jungle. They kept me COOL, DRIED REALLY QUICK when soaked and KEPT THE BUGS AWAY better than any spray I used. They also didn't snag when I walked through some prickly brush. I wish I purchased more than one, I ended up washing them in the sink at our hotel so I could wear them again they were dry by morning. I also purchased a Columbia bug shield button up shirt for the trip that worked just as well. I thought they fit true to size but if your concerned about a tighter waist, maybe size up one. They will not fall off. A bug shield hat worked wonders too!

I think I'm really a size 6 (I just had a baby, so I'm still figuring out what size will fit me) and the size 8 fits me ever so slightly loose just enough room to make them SUPER comfortable.

Fall is coming and every runner needs a couple of long sleeve shirts that wick away sweat. Layers are the key to exercising in cooler weather. I like moisture wicking shirts as a base layer under an absorbent t-shirt or light jacket. However, this shirt will be great on its own. I have shorts and shirts all made from the same fabric and they are my favorites for running.

The only drawback could be the stitching down the sides, which might annoy some people. I have not noticed it myself.

First go to Mechanix website and print off the size chart and buy the right size. I have been buying too big of gloves for too long because I thought I had manly large hands...well I only have medium manly hands. I didn't believe the chart so went to a home store tried on the Mechanix gloves in medium and they fit 100 x better than the large.

I bought the Camo, all black (stealth) and the coyote of these Mechanix gloves so I can be tacticool!

I use them at the shooting range, I use them on cold days as driving gloves. None of the home stores around had the 3 tacticool colors, plus they are cheaper on amazon.com.

Now only if they made a pair in multi-cam so when the zombies come at me, they think to themselves...man that guy is all geared out and really cool looking. Then I place one between their eyes due to my awesome weapon control because I am wearing these cool gloves. Plus these gloves will keep your hands clean so when you rescue that hotty from being eaten you can take your gloves off and shake her hand and not worry about giving her cooties.

Took a chance on these for use in the military, as they're thin enough to give you some tactile sensation while protecting your fingers. However, don't expect to be able to haul yourself up a rope, navigate an obstacle course, etc. The interior gripping portion is simply too slick for heavy work. Let me be specific: I wore them on an obstacle course during a recent training event and I simply could not get a grip on certain obstacles, such as the rope climb, and anything requiring me to lift my entire body weight. Once I took them off, I was able to easily climb the ropes, do the "monkey bars", etc., and complete the course. They work great in many situations, when you need to be able to feel what your fingers are doing, but that's about it. So, three stars. Great for their intended use, just be careful how far you push it with these.

I recently bought these to replace my last set of tactical gloves that had worn out. I use these while in the field, general tasks, and shooting. The biggest advantage of these gloves over others I have used is that these actually last longer during heavy use. If you are wearing these everyday, expect these to last at least 45 days. That is quite a bit longer than standard flight gloves, which usually last me around 30 days, sometimes less.

Good features: Leather bottom is thin enough to still feel trigger finger. I can also manipulate and use a laptop, radio and other small electronic devices like GPS while wearing them. The top is breathable, and allows my hand to feel cooler than either flight gloves or my last pair of black hawk tactical gloves. The velcro is the new type of velcro that is non abrasive, hard plastic. This is good because it doesn't wear out as fast nor does it melt as easily as gen I velcro.

Negatives: Not as tight fitting around my fingers as I prefer. The thumb cut should be deeper, when I open my palm the material is tight between my pointing finger and thumb. If you use a firearm with a thick diameter grip such as a Beretta M92F, and your gloves are tight, this could be annoying and reduce accuracy by making an unnatural grip feel. Also the gloves have an annoyingly placed, very large tag on the side, it looks like ass when you cut it off too.

This is my first Amazon.com purchase, very good experience.

I bought these on the recommendation of a buddy who wore them in Iraq, he swears by them and now I see why.

Very happy with the Mechanix wear original gloves. I bought two pair , gloves wear out and by buying two pair at once I got free super saver shipping. I'm also of the mindset that two is one and one is none. I am impressed enough with them that I intend to keep a new pair in waiting at all times.

The coyote color is nice and subdued, goes well with carhartt type colors and multicam.

Overall lightweight and flexible. The synthetic gripping surface feels kind of like a very fine suede.. good grip but not so sticky that it hangs up on things. I can still dig in my pack/pockets and pick one thing out with no unwanted items coming along for the ride.

Fit and finish is great, seams are well stitched, the glove feels and looks good.

The hook and loop closure is perfect. I would describe it as a "micro" hook and loop. It's much quieter when separated than old style velcro, doesn't look like it will fuzz up and deteriorate like old style velcro either.

I do a lot of heavy silly things with my hands, and tear them up something awful. People gripe at me about it and the thing I hear the most is, "Why didn't you wear gloves!"

I don't like gloves because I can't FEEL things with them on.

This weekend, we'll be out on the trail busting back overgrowth and thinning out some dead and dying trees. It'll be hard work, with the potential for lots of abrasions and lacerations. Last night when I got these in the mail, my first thought was, "I'm going to destroy these gloves."

They are soft, and feel very thin. The sizing chart on the Mechanix page gave me a perfect size, and when I rubbed my fingers together, I could feel things. It was awesome. So awesome that I wore them when I punched together a new camp axe sheath with awl and waxed thread.

I am going to destroy these gloves, but I figure that's what gloves are for. When I take them off after the work is done, my hands and fingers will be happier.

Comfortable, flexible, breathable, with a perfect fit from the sizing chart on the mechanix page.

Thin, soft material makes it a fair bet that heavy landscaping, fabricating, barbed wire manipulation or rebar/concrete work is going to mean getting another pair later.

I will be getting another pair later. I love these gloves.

Update 5/30/2012:

After a weekend of chucking logs, stacking woodpiles, splitting wood, pulling weeds, chopping back foliage, and sweating on them in 90+ degree weather, I'd say these are keepers. Not a hole, nor a frayed thread to be seen. They fit like a second skin. I didn't destroy them after all. :D

Currently, I have a pair of the spring 2012 PI Elite bib shorts, size medium, that I really like and use whenever I ride. They fit just right and are very comfortable.

I wanted to get another pair, so I ordered the sprint 2013 version in red. Unfortunately, the mediums no longer fit me. The leg openings are a bit smaller on the new shorts. I exchanged them for a large size and will see if those fit better.

This little guy is of pretty darn good quality. The jersey material looks to be quite sturdy and will not rip easily. The silk screen is on there well and there was no fading or fraying.
