Just bought this glove and put it to the test these last couple of days, was very happy with them. Sturdy, dexterous, and comfortable after break-in. I didn't really understand the straps (not shown in this pic) and their purpose before I bought it, but after trying it out I am a big fan. Basically, it lets you take your gloves off (to grab your cell, grab out a small detailed item (eg, a credit card from your wallet, ...) without having to hang them off of your pants or jacket (always involves dealing with the cumbersome clipping systems) since they hang off your wrist. Sounds weird in text, works well in real life.

Temp control wise, they handled 20 degree temps with wind chill just fine. I added on a lightweight Icebreaker 200g/m^2 liner, took it out in -1 F temps with Wind Chill down to -30. No problems whatsoever with cold. That being said, I generally do not suffer from cold hands, so I cannot comment if this is a special issue for someone.

Typical leather ski gloves. Good quality materials. Nicely featured.

But, it's nearly impossible and extremely frustrating to put them on if the liner or your hands are at all sweaty, wet, etc... I.e., the inner fabric will not let your hand slide into the glove when damp. It seems the liner is not attached to the inner surface of the leather so it bunches as your sweaty hand is removed from the glove, making re-entry even rougher.

This "One Size Fits All" adult hunter safety vest is just too small for full sized adults. I am 5'10", 200 lbs and my son is 6', 200 lbs and this vest was just too tight and "skimpy" to be very comfortable. The construction is also very lightweight and would only be useful for casual use in the woods as I doubt it would hold up to much abuse in heaver brush.

Check out Allen Company Orange Big Man Safety Vest Chest (Blaze, upto 60-Inch) for a somewhat larger and better made vest.

I already have a much heavier weight Columbia Lhotse Mountain Interchange Parka which I purchased at a local retail in a medium that I like but I don't love due to the size. The liner serves it purpose well but the shell is just too big. When I read about the Ultrachange Parka I immediately fell in love. It is lightweight yet very functional.

Having tested it in various conditions I can attest to its waterproof abilities, as well as its ability to keep you warm. I have worn the shell in rainy temps in the mid 40's with just a base layer on and I was quite warm and dry. The liner I have worn in temps in the low 30's with just a t-shirt and I was very warm. The shell is very thin and light and is amazingly waterproof without the bulk or lack of breathability. The sleeves are a tad long but that is to be expected as it is meant to be work over another coat. Unlike the Lhotse Parka, this parka does not zip together. The shell is simply worn over the liner. The shell uses a combination of Omni-Dry and Omni-Wick Evap to give you maximum breathability plus maximum protection from the wind and the elements, in addition to maximum evaporation to move moisture that you generate off your body into the fabric.

The liner itself is an improvement over my Lhotse liner in that it features Omni-Shield. Omni-Shield is Columbia's advanced repellency technology. It is generates a very silky smooth coating on the jacket that is meant to resist all liquids below 170 degrees from being absorbed into the fabric. It also dries quicker than fabrics that are not treated as well. I have not tested the liner in any wet conditions yet but I am confident that it will perform well. The Omni-Heat technology the jacket uses works very well and I have no complaints. I do like how the jacket utilizes moisture wicking fabric in the under arm areas to allow air to flow in those areas.

I gave this product a 5 star rating because of the technologies used in its construction make it a perfect parka for various weather conditions and temperatures. Whether it rain, cold, or even windy conditions it will protect your from the elements without weighing you down. The only thing I can think of that I would consider a dislike about this product would be the zipper pockets on the shell are difficult to open with one hand. What I mean by that is that if you are carrying something in one arm and need to access the pockets with the other it can be hand to unzip them fully. As time has passed and I have used them more, they do seem to become easier to open or close. I think this may just be attributed to the fact the jacket is still very new and they aren't broken in yet.

I would recommend this product to anybody that wants a very useful parka for different conditions. A shell for wet conditions and a liner for cold conditions. It would help cut down on the number of jackets or coats one would need except only for formal occasions. It is a bit pricey, I purchased mine when it was 40% off but I would say see if it is cheaper than MSRP here or on Columbia's website before purchasing it. It very well may be worth full price but every bit of money one can save now a days helps.

There are enough reviews about the performance of this jacket so I just want to say something about the sizing. I am a thin 6'1" at about 160 pounds. I ordered the large size and it was way too long even for my monkey arms and just way too big in general. I exchanged it for the medium and the arm length is perfect. There is still a little slack around the waste but it's perfect with the elastic cord thing tightened a bit. I imagine with 10 or maybe even 20 pounds more the medium would still fit fine. I think you would probably have to be somewhere around 6'5" and 250 pounds to fit in the Large. I can't imagine how big the XL is. I love the yellow color. When one of my friends saw it the first time he said it looked like a high tech space jacket or something crazy.

Pearl Izumi is always top quality, I really like the relaxed feel of this shirt, and the fabric is very nice and soft with good moisture wicking properties. I'm normally somewhere between a small and medium but I got the medium and it fits well, not tight but neither does it feel over-sized. I like the color options, I'll probably get a couple more. there are no back pockets, but I like that because it wont interfere with my camelbak, there is one tiny ID/keys pocket on the right side with a zipper which is nice.

I bought this helmet in preparation for my first ever ski trip. Cognizant of my lack of experience and the ensuing likelihood that I would be falling over frequently, I figured that the cheapest helmet out there probably wasn't a good idea. At fifty four bucks, the Giro worked quite well, keeping my head (as far as I can tell) undamaged, and me not looking like a complete idiot on the slopes. In fact, the helmet actually looks quite cool.

There are a few pretty minor negatives though.

-First, after removing the stickers which came on the helmet there was an irritating residue which wouldn't come off with anything. It permanently changed the finish of the helmet, leaving a few glossy shapes.

-Second, the chin strap pad is extremely cheesy which isn't really congruent with the high quality of the rest of the product.

-Finally, the helmet doesn't come with any of the pads which others do to allow you to customize the fit. For my head it fit perfectly front to back, but side to side there was some movement. 2 bucks worth of foam which adheres to the sides would have fixed the problem.

Overall I am quite pleased and I would certainly recommend this to a friend of mine!!

These are great! Small is small just so you know. So unless you are super petite..get a medium (sometimes I wear Sm, sometimes Med..but I would say their Small is more like today's "XS"). And if you're sometimes in-between med-lg.. go for Large. They are great shirts.. hip modern fit, nice and thin tee. Will definitely order again.

I bought these for my 3 year old son. Very pleased with the quality of the socks noticable upon just touching them. They are a little bit big ( he wears a 9.5 shoe currently) however, this was expected and he will be able to get lots of wear out of them. My four year old grandson wears size 11 shoes and my initial intent was to use the sock to accessorize the super hero outfit his mother made for him. Takes a little work to get the sock on his feet, but it's a breeze once you get past the heel. Hopefully they won't shrink after they're washed(cold water and air dried). The socks would fit better on a child with longer and narrower feet.
