picked up the Nuggets "Division Champ" shirt and a Pacers one. I don't have a particular like or dislike for either team. I liked the old school Denver Logo and the Pacers one was cheap. The shirts have a great retro look. There are these types of shirts for most teams and despite being the same, they run in price from 12 bucks into the 20's. I got the two that were 12.

They are a "Tri Blend" material. 50% poly, 37% cotton, and 13% rayon. A blended shirt is a must for me, as it is far softer and more comfortable than new cotton. The shirt feels like something you have washed a few dozen times, in that it is soft, form fitting, with a little bit of stretch in the tighter shoulder and arm areas. This is an athletic cut shirt, meaning in your normal size it should hug the body a bit. I am 6'3" 205-210ish. The XL fits me perfect, hugging the shoulders and arm while being a tad loose in the belly area. While not as think as cotton, it isn't paper thin either like some blends I have gotten. This one is about perfect.

Overall on the lower end of the price range, these are great shirts and I was surprised. If you really like a team I could see paying more for the shirt and the look.

"Chucks" are the only shoes that have ever existed. Ever since 1923, Chuck Taylor All-Stars have been "just a piece of rubber and canvas"they haven't changed one bit from the sands of time. These shoes are devilishly simple, and customizable in every way. Everyone may be wearing Chucks these days, but you can still make them your own. There are so many wayswhat color would you like? One of the core colorsblack and white? Monochrome black? White? Red? Green? Blue? Pink? How about the latest pattern or print? Every year Converse also pumps out new seasonal colors, and different styles such as double-tongued shoes, "tear-aways", faded looking ones, everything. You can buy different color laces or you can go crazy with a Sharpie and draw up some art all over your shoes. And for something seemingly so flimsy, they're pretty durable. My shoes have withstood countless running and hitting the asphalt, games of soccer, basketball, jumping from everywhere, the basic abuse a teen can dish out to his feet. Granted, they may not be too comfortable at first, but once your feet gets used to them, well, you don't even notice you're wearing them anymore. Nevertheless, it does have some setbacks, but if you look at modern shoes, you can see the differences in design. But for something from over 3/4 of a century ago, you've got to admit they're pretty darn impressive. The skinny:

PROS

-customizable in any waylaces can be easily replaced and be done up in any pattern you wish

-look great with anything and everything; the unisex casual sneaker that will even draw you the occasional compliment from coworkers or friends.

-lightweight compared to most shoes of today

-so many colorsfrom your basic core colors (black, red, green, blue, white, or pink) to different designs (60s tie dye, camo, skulls, flames, etc.)

-also different kinds of shoesfrom the classics to the newer double uppers, tear-aways (shoes with two layers of canvas, and some parts are already torn away to show the brighter underlayer), double-tongued, and also DIFFERENT MATERIALS like leather or suede.

CONS

-the color fades; especially in the harsh sun. My navy blue Taylors have been bleached to the color of very faded blue denim.

-the rubber parts of the shoe can get dirty rather quickly, but are easily cleanable.

-overall the shoe is pretty comfortable, but not recommended for prolonged running or a whole day on the boardwalk. It depends a lot on the shape of your footif your feet are flat, you'll find that these shoes are a match made in heaven. Otherwise you may have some issues, but not so bad they're unwearable.

-I don't know what it is about it, but they make your feet look bigger than they really are.

-NOT TO BE USED AS A SKATE SHOE. Converse shoes are made from canvas, which won't give you any mercy from runaway boards, and they do NOT have adequate cushioning on the top, bottom, or sides for such an activity.

NOTE: BUY A HALF-SIZE SMALLER THAN WHAT YOU'RE AIMING FOR. A Converse size 10 is, in reality, a 10 1/2.

ANOTHER NOTE: If this bothers you, then you should know. Chucks are no longer manufactured in the USA. They are now outsourced to other countries, mostly China. Your Chucks won't be falling apart on you or anything, but know that Converse is now a subsidiary of Nike, a company known to use sweatshop labor to make their shoes.

Yeah, I'm a dork. I only bought these unbleached Chucks because they are the same ones worn by Doctor Who. Love em'! Look out for the sizing if you have wider feet. I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear because Converse always smash my pinky toes on the sides. The size of Chucks that I can wear comfortably always end up having the rubber toe cap extend beyond my toes...so basically the rubber end is empty, but they don't feel too big, but just right and they look fine on me. Now I just need to work on that Doctor Who hairstyle. Ha!

*UPDATE: These ARE REAL Converse, no matter what other reviewers say. I noticed that the sole and patch did not have the circle "R" trademark stamp and I did call the company afraid I might have gotten fakes. The rep said they dropped the "R" on Chucks a while back and they do have Converse made in Vietnam, Indonesia and China also. Plus, I've been buying Chucks for like 26yrs and they have never had a "cushioned insole". They are always flat, hard...that's just the way they are.

Why the heck would someone put "Made in Indonesia" on a tag if they were trying to "fake" an American product? Hello? Duh. Don't freak out, peeps. The canvas is normal quality, the star patch is tight and crystal clear and the rubber sole IS normal. They are legit! I looked into it because I don't want fake Chucks either. Do some research before giving bad reviews.

I'm not about to run or even do the treadmill in these, but for doing squats and deadlifts, these are perfect. When pulling or squatting heavy weight, it's important to have a firm, flat surface for keeping your balance and the weight distribution even. I find these shoes comfortable to wear during my workouts, and make the lifts much easier than using running shoes, socks only or deadlift slippers. A few cold days in the gym, and I started looking for a better way to pull and squat. I'm glad I did.

These are also cool looking shoes, and seem to be very stylish with many people. A few co-workers who own them express how comfortable they are. There's zero arch support, but since I have high arches, and only use them for specific workouts, I can live with that.

I use this for my PMAGS and they are holding up nicely. They are Velcro adjustable for length as well as the bungee for tightness. They may not be as durable as some from TT or Blackhawk but for the price they are great. Hope this helps.

I ordered these off of amazon and was shipped to me on time and as described, yeah their made in China but hard to beat the quality for the price!

At first when I inspected them I was thinking that they would be two tight for each slot to piggy back two mags but it does get in there just a little tight so I left 6 mags in there to "break in" the space. I noticed that the USGI mags go in but kinda snag a little going in and I'm not sure if this will be a issue in the long run ripping from wear, even though with that little issue I'm not to worried cause the material seems pretty rugged. My pmags slide right in with no problems.

Overall pretty happy and the multicam looks AWESOME!

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Low Top Pink M9007 Reviews

I own a pair of these as well as a pair of pink hi-tops. The reason why should be obvious: low-tops are great when it's summer and the weather is warm and balmy, but they are so exposed that you'll feel even the slightest breeze, especially when wearing shorts or such. These honestly don't provide much more warmth than wearing sandals with socks. Also for that reason, it can look strange to wear these with long socks, unless you like the "soccer player" look. Anyway...

They say that "it takes a real man to wear pink", but even among women and girls who wear Converse, pink is an uncommon color. These make quite a statement no matter what crowd you run with. In some ways it can even be a safety measure, as they make you easy to identify in a multitide. Because they are so unique, people that wouldn't normally remember or even pay you a second glance will tend to look twice and/or learn to recognize you I think that alone makes these worth the money compared to any other shoe.

In addition, unlike many shoes, Converse don't mind being thrown in the washing machine for occasional cleaning (just avoid the bleach, or you'll fade them quite fast). Thus, I don't mind wearing these everywhere, because if they get dirty it's no big deal.

Speaking of fading, pink Converse have to be worn for awhile before they resemble the color of the image shown they are a bit more bright, deep pink than they appear. They are not "neon pink" (a separate and easily distinguished color), but nonetheless pinker than the image.

Converse almost invariably seem to run a half size larger, and these are no exception. So if you're a 9.5, get a 9, etc. These were my second pair, and like my first, I'm glad that I tried them on in a store before ordering it would have been a rather unpleasant surprise.

Also true to most Converse, these have little to no arch support, a thinner sole compared to most modern shoes (i.e. you'll feel it if you step on a rock or such), and don't take too kindly to being worn in the rain, mud, snow, etc. I certainly wouldn't run a mile or take a hike in them. For those reasons, I've got to knock one star, as much as I otherwise love these shoes.

Cheap 3 Dial Tsa Lock & Cable

This is a good cable to help avoid casual theft. It's lightweight and someone would have to use wire cutters to get through the cable or the lock. This is best described as an insurance policy to keep honest people honest, and to give a thief pause. Inside of airport security, I only really use it to secure our carryon bags with cameras, ipods, etc. and my wife's purse. Those are small and concealable. We don't feel the need to lock down the rollaboard. I regurlarly use it on everyhting when in bus or train terminals. After reading many bad reviews regarding the poor quality of master locks of this size, I happened on this Eagle Creek lock and cable. I used the lock for a dual purpose. I used the inside cable to lock in a gun safe and the outside loop and actual lock through the two zippers on the outside of the suitcase. (The suitcase also has a TSA lock thus giving double protection to frustrate any dishonest baggage handler).

If you don't have outside locks this item will work to secure your belongings on any zippered to close suitcase. No worries about the TSA breaking it either. TSA has opened and inspected my luggage twice and replaced it in the locked position

I am completely satisfied on how this item performed and the quality of the product.

We used this lock and cable on our trip to Asia. Part of travel is to be smart about how you keep you and your stuff safe and secure. We always lock our bags and when we were out of our room for the day we would use the cable to lock our bags together. When we were able we would also use the cable to lock our bags to the furniture. Every backpacker and traveler should take a lock and cable with them. If someone is really determined to steal your stuff they will find a way but this is a deterrent and makes it a lot harder and at the very least will slow them down. The cable and lock is great when you are on a bus or train. We used it on a train to attach our bags to the luggage rack. It worked perfectly and we had peace of mind that our bags would not be snatched when we were off the train.

I bought this item for travel in India and Asia where I knew I would travel on trains. It was perfect for securing my suitcase/backpack in hotels as well. The cable is long enough to secure two suitcases and small backpacks on a train or hotel although I did buy two (one each for my husband and myself) so I didn't have to smash everything together. I don't think it provides security for really savvy thieves, but for quick grab and go thieves it is perfect. I travel all over the world frequently and take it with me on every trip.

The combination lock is small and has only 3 digits, but that also makes it easy to use.

Both my Glock 22 and Glock 27 did not work with this holster. In order for the trigger to be covered the front sight has to protrude out the bottom of the holster. When attempting to pull the weapon out of the holster the front sight catches at the bottom and I was unable draw quickly out of the holster....quite frankly I was unable to draw at all....had to use a tool to get fabric over front sight.. I love the covrt back pack, but will have to find another Velcro holster solution. I advised 5.11 of this problem and they have been great in refunding my purchase. But, again as a previous reviewer mentioned, it does not work with Glocks so from an officer safety perspective I would recommend not purchasing this product if you are carrying a Glock. Hopefully, 5.11 makes a bigger holster in the future to accommodate Glocks.

Bought this to go with a 5.11 vest and was somewhat dissapointed. I could not get the barrel of my XDm even close to fitting in this holster. I wound up having to cut some of the stitching that holds the two halvs together to make it fit. 1911's and glocks do not fit either. After cutting the threads a bit it works fine but some may not want to have to cut a new holster. I wish 5.11 would mak a larger version of this.

I bought this to go in my 5.11 Rush 10 Mobile Operation Attachment Bag It works great. It was pretty difficult to get it positioned how I wanted it inside the secret concealed carry compartment of my bag. The Velcro is not only strong but plentiful. However once I finally had it seated where I wanted it, I will not have to worry about it getting loose. The best part about this holster is the snapping catch over the back strap. I have never carried my Glock with one in the chamber until now. I am fully confident it will not get loose and roll around my back pack, even if it did, it's in it's own little pocket, so not much to worry about anyway. If you get a 5.11 bag, get this holster. I bought this shirt for my nine-year-old son to wear on his school's all-day "Nature Days" at a wilderness park. He wore it with a lightweight jacket. It kept him warm all day, and was comfortable, too. We are in California so it doesn't get too cold but it will be handy when we go camping, etc.

I'm a girl and bought this hat anyway because I like the colors and though it looked comfortable, and I was right! It kept my head and ears warm and looked nice, and I love that it's Dakine. However, I wore it backpacking for hours at a time and eventually it would start to itch my forehead, which was very irritating. I had to start wearing a band under it to protect my skin. I really wish this had a felt lining. I may try to sew one on myself, but if it doesn't work, I'll get another one because itching so much makes it not functional.

It's not nearly as warm as Ibex claims. It is a layering piece, but even when used as a shell over an Ibex Atlas wool coat blustery winds will still be felt right through both layers.

This is a great sweater for mildly cool days and is VERY packable . Looks good too.

The jacket is amazingly warm (and quite wind resistant), and stuffs easily into my North Face Recon daypack, where it does double duty wrapping a camera body or lens while I hike (until I need warmth).

Of late I have taken to wearing the Aire simply because the color appeals to me, and is a nicely different look from most of my jackets.

The shell is quite wind resistant, and thus makes a very good option for cyclist, say as a pull-over jacket for a descent. But the one drawback is that it won't easily stuff into a cycling jersey pocket; while it is relatively compact, it is too bulky to stuff into a cycling jersey pocket, so it would have to be carried via other means, such as a any cycing saddlebag, panier, etc.

prAna Men's Stretch 30-Inch Inseam Zion Pant Review

I was in search of new, waterproof/stain-proof hiking pants & found these on sale at REI.

Bought 1 pair from REI & then bought 2 other colors from Amazon for significantly less.

My wife had purchased Prana women's 'convertible' pants & really liked them.

So far I've found the mens ones to be comfortable with what seems to be quality construction.

They're Scotch-guarded & waterproof (to a point, of course), and fit really nicely.

The fabric might be a bit warm if you're in a hot/humid place, but they're great for my location.

I really like the adjustable waist, because "Large" is a bit unclear.

I'm anywhere from 33"-36" depending on the brand of pants & time of year, so this is a nice feature.

Haven't worn them hiking yet, so I can't say how they'll hold up outdoors...

But they're great all-around pants because they look like normal khakis.

Happy I managed to add to my work, hiking, and lounging wardrobe w/one product, because I hate buying clothes in the first place.

Mesh pockets are nice & help to keep things cool. The zippered pocket faces forward & would be ok for a wallet, but I don't really use it it's juuust too low to be convenient (but perfect when sitting). 2 back pockets one is open & one has a top flap. I never use these because I hate sitting on a wallet anyway. Would be nice if one had a zipper though then I might actually feel ok using it for a wallet while walking around.

Buttons on the bottom won't probably get much use since I'm not a climber. Ok for stream crossing maybe, but a bungee would be easier. These require rolling & snapping. I prefer the approach in REI's "Endeavor" stretch hiking pants, which I bought at the same time & would say are slightly more comfortable but less stylish.

My only complaint so far is that after 1st wash the pants seem noticeably tighter around the thighs & maybe even a bit shorter. This is disappointing because I really need 31" pants, which don't exist. 32" is usually too long, and 30" was barely long enough, so I've wound up w/high-waters that are a bit tight. Probably need to dry on low heat. Too late to return to Amazon I guess, but maybe I can exchange the REI ones to see if 32" would be a better fit.

Overall, great product though & I liked the first pair enough to buy more right away.

That's not something I usually do w/clothing, or anything else really.

I've owned the older version of this pant for several years and they have endured some pretty rigorous use. The material is fairly thin, lightweight, stretchy, breathable, and yet somehow pretty durable. I've hiked through dry shrub, rubbed noses with some granite slab, etc. and these had no issues with burns, tears, or punctures. Also, I'd wear these every day when I'd boulder at the indoor gym near my work, and I'd wash them every other day. There was a little bit of pilling in the contact spots, but it only started showing up after about a year of abuse, which is way longer than any other pant would have held up. Also, the cut is nice and flat with a square front, basically, they look nice enough to wear on a regular basis. And I did wear these pretty regularly, the only reason I had to buy a new pair is because I got grease stains on them right in the crotch (from movie theatre popcorn). So I bought myself 2 new colors and tossed the grease stained one's in my BOB.

I already recommend these to everyone I know, and suggest that anyone that lives an active lifestyle own at least 1 pair.

I love the fit and feel of these awesome pants. The only negative is the placement of the lower left pocket. It is right over the knee which means my wallet rubs against my knee when walking which is slightly uncomfortable. Otherwise, its a 5 star pants!

I have had one of these bags for over 5 years and it still works great, though I did break the internal zipper. It comes with an external zipper and internal zipper which uses an additional scent safe flap for extra odor protection. I have ordered a second one as my hunting apparel has increased over the years.

I ususlly add a little baking soda to the inside bottom of the bag for additional scent absorption.

Overall, a really good bag for storage of hunting clothes. Fairly large also. I can store 4 or 5 pants/shirt sets, sweatshirts, hats etc.

Only rated 4 stars due to internal zipper failure, however this was probably my own fault for over packing the bag and trying to squeeze more stuff in!

This product is great for scent free storage of your hunting camo. I use them to keep all my hunting gear scent free, early and late season camo and safety harness. Can't go wrong using this product.

These bags are very good. They allow you to transport your clothing with scent control and to easily place into your truck or car where it does not come into contact with contaminants that might otherwise alert game. I change at my truck upon arrival at last location to leave truck. I redress the same. These work great for that cause.

I bought these to go under short skirts. I didn't want to have a too stretch appearance and bought a large (42" hips, 36" waist). These were looser than I expected and fit just right for shorts.

It does emphasize belly fat and love handles, but as the shorts aren't a body shaper, that is to be expected. The fabric does pucker a bit at the top of the leg since it isn't stretched taut. The 3" inseam feels like shorts rather than underwear. The white is transparent.

I would recommend them for under clothing unless you have a trim body and buy a darker color.
