This sneaker's predecessor, the 160, was a Consumer Reports Best Buy. This sneaker's appearance is very slightly modified from the original but has the same comfort and stability qualities. The insoles are just so-so but by replacing them with higher quality insoles, with better cushioning, makes this a five star sneaker. The price (even with the replacement insoles) is very reasonable and hard to beat.

Bought these on July 8, 2013, the double-wide version. SUPER comfy and functional, and they feel great on my flat arches.

Unfortunately, 2 months later, they're already falling apart. The pads on the sole around the heel are already peeling off, and the front sole is peeling away from the toe.

Pretty unhappy with this, overall.

I have worn ASICS shoes for years at this is by far the worst quality I have ever seen. Very poor qaulity. Very cheap feel to the shoe. On the 4th time they were worn one of the lace loops ripped out. I'm not going to buy anymore of their products until they get their act together. Very very disappointed.

I really like the Icebreaker Seeker pants. The material is an all-natural merino wool and cotton twill that is sturdy yet lightweight. Plus, unlike most wool fabrics, it's machine washable. The cut is more tailored than jeans or khakis but slightly more casual than dress pants. They are very comfortable to wear and are especially suited for travel because the fabric is very compressible.

There are two things to keep in mind, though. First, I wouldn't use these pants for hiking or other strenuous outdoor activities due to the tailored fit. There isn't enough freedom of movement for active use, particularly in the upper legs. Second, anyone who has a longish inseam should take a look at the reviews on the Icebreaker website. Some buyers there have found the "one inseam fits all" design to be too short.

Bottom line: a good looking, well made, very comfortable pair of pants. Four stars.

Haven't really loved board shorts, I almost gravitate to the fight shorts like GSP, but when I saw these I thought it would be a better choice for training. They feel less flashy then GSP style fight shorts, good flexibility and seemingly good durability. I am going to buy more in this style. The design doesn't sway me one way or the other but that cut is great. I always feel like board shorts are cumbersome with the velcro closures and tie fly, these are simple and I can't say enough about how much I like them and the x stretch.

They are very lightweight and sturdy but can fall down easy when grappling other than that they are perfect shorts for MMA or any martial art. I recommend them!

As far as No-Gi jiu-jitsu they would be excellent, they are very light and feel very durable but I've yet to put them to the test as far as that goes. I just returned from a ski trip and these boots were great. They were brand new but very comfy and kept my feet warm in absolute blizzard conditions. The big decision seems to be sizing. I am always an 8 and never vary from that, but I took the advise of reviews and ordered down to a 7. The 7 fit but my toes were touching the end of the shoe and I was afraid it would rub if I wore them for any time. The 7 also rubbed the back of my heel. I had to go elsewhere to find an 8 (sold out)and that one fit great. I didn't find it run big at all. I was able to wear one thin pair of socks and one very thick wool pair with comfort. The larger size also didn't rub my heel either. I think the thick socks helped and I did use some band-aids to play it safe but I wore them very long and no problems what so ever. For me, I found they fit true to size with enough extra room to fit thick socks. I also was able to get my pants and underlayer tucked into them with comfort. For those pondering size, the only advice I can give on sizing is to just order both and keep the one that fits best since you will probably have these for many years.

I love these boots, they are warm, comfortable and still look great after trudging through a snowdrift or slushy street. The only reason they are not 5 stars is that the fit seems to run large. I wear a 6.5 7 normally, and wear a 6 in this boot, even with thick socks. I would suggest sizing down when you purchase a pair.

If your looking for a cute Furry, Fun, Fashion boot to wear with slim jeans, these will work. If you want a pair of boots that look good and actually work well in cold, snowy, icy weather, choose another boot. They look great with your jeans tucked in or a pair of Apres Ski pants, but they're not very warm, the soles are thin (makes for cold feet), and the tread is worthless on ice. After slipping on patchy ice more than once, I bought a pair of Yak Traks so I could use them this winter. For those of you with wide feet, these seem to run wide. The felt liner is very thin, and they need a rear loops on the back to make them easier to put on with jeans. I'm very disappointed in these boots, Sorel used to make real boots for real outdoor people. It appears Sorel is headed more for the fashion runway then the snowy, icy, cold, Canadian winters where they once originated...

I bought this boot here on Amazon in December 09. This is my first winter in New England and being from California I was not looking forward to the cold that I knew was coming. This boot worked great for me when I was out shoveling the snow. My feet were warm and I love the faux fur on the top, it makes it less like a work boot. It was pretty close to my size. I've read in other reviews on how it was big, but my toe was close to the edge. I was worried that I would actually have to go even larger than a size 11, but after a couple of minutes it was fine. I think it's because it turns up in the front that it did that.

At first wore only one pair of socks, but I read in other reviews that with the Sorel brand of boot, you should wear two pairs (one cotton with wool over). Even with both socks, it was still very comfortable. I really became a fan when after having about 6 inches of snow fall, it started to rain...making the most awful slush that I have ever seen. These boots rose to the occasion. My feet were dry and warm...it handled the job great. Fair warning though, the boots are a bit stiff and at times does make for a bit awkward to walk and drive. Other than that...they are totally awesome!

Love this t-shirt. Excellent v-neck (a bit low for some) but hits well on the chest. Not too tight even for those of us without perfect upper bodies. It is a bit see-through, but only here and there because of the burnout process. Some days I wear a black bra, and others I wear a black cami. Problem solved. If you are a medium, it's a medium. Like me. True to size, in other words.

I bought this for my husband to wear layered under jacket for our cruise to the North Pole. It was perfect!! Soft and creates good insulation from cold as long as there is no direct wind. So under a windbreaker is like wearing a liner. My husband wore this on deck almost every day and it was very comfortable and kept him warm --but not too warm as the garment "breathes". The collar can be worn straight up or turned down and the zipper is the key to function. This looks good with either dress slacks or jeans and over polo shirts or dark tees. I was happy to see that even after washing it looks new... not matted or worn looking. And oh, my husband is tall and for the purpose of this garment I was hoping that it would be longer in length and not just below waist--and it is perfect. Good styling!!

The zipper on this one is definitely a Half Zip, and not the standard Quarter Zip like most fleeces. Not a problem, but more unexpected. If you had a helmet or a hat on this would easily allow enough clearance to get the fleece off without the need to take it your hat off.

Otherwise I can't complain, it's warm and relatively well made. The pockets are normal sized (in that they'll fit a wallet and an iPhone plus my hand) with a decent zipper. It also seemed to be true to size. All in all, a good purchase.

The Hurricane jacket is ok. It has been good in light rain so far. Pit zips are great for venting. No buyers remorse because I got it so cheap, I didn't expect a lot.Would have returned it if I had payed more. Definitely not worth full price, $80.00 retail on Sierra Designs website. 3 stars because no way to adjust the hood from falling over my face.Also there is no extended brim on the hood like all my other rain jackets. There are a lot of these type of jackets at a lower cost and better.I know, I have three of them. Ask me I'll tell you which ones.

update: I fixed the droopy hood by attaching industrial grade Velcro to the back of it, making my own adjusting tab.It's amazing a $80.00 jacket is missing such an important feature? It is a whole new wearing experience with a proper fitting hood. Now a 4 star jacket . An extended brim would make it a 5 star. I know this sounds like nit-picking. But when I'm out in the rain doing tasks that involve 2 hands, it's a real hassle to constantly reach up to pull the hood off my face.

I'm a guy of average height and weight. About 5' 10" and weigh 185 lbs. I usually fit easily into any XL size jacket. But this jacket, Sierra Designs Hurricane Jacket, is extremely slim fitting. So slim fitting that I had to return it for a XXL. Although I do workout a lot and lift weights, the shoulders were way-too confining and if I had kept it I would have eventually ripped the jacket from use as it was much too snug. But apart from the inaccurate sizing, the jacket itself is very well made. All the seams are taped for water proofness, there are underarm vents which zip open and closed to help regulate temperature, the hood and collar are generous and articulated, it has plenty of pockets to hold extra items, comes with its own stuff sack, has an asymentrical hem line (more like a shirt tail), and looks great. My recommendation for guys? Order 1 size larger and you should be fine. But I do like the jacket very much and the price can't be beat.

Finally! Somebody made shorts with hard armor in all the right places. Too many other shorts have left my hips wide open to injury because the upper and lower pads were poorly padded and placed. I don't know what the gripe is with people being bothered by the tail bone section. It doesn't get in the way at all as long you aren't sagging these like an eager to get owned wangster street rat. Maybe if you're sitting perfectly perpendicular to the ground you'll get some discomfort, but if you're actually wearing these, chances are you'll be leaning forward in an aggressive stance. The mesh and thong like construction of materials is perfect and allows me to go freebird on hotter days. Be warned however, the material is so light and stretchy that after a while the crotch will slide back and forth with your legs as you pedal. If you've ever watched those cartoons with the little guy being chewed alive by the big monster and you can see the inside of the mouth as he's being chewed up.... well that what will happen to your junk if you pull these up too high. Get some chamois butter to help out. The elastic band on the bottom of the legs are really really tight, but they should stretch out over time. If they don't I'll be tempted to cut them open and sow in an extra inch of material, because after about five hours of wear your thighs will be begging for mercy. Also don't let anybody see you wearing these in the open, cuz that bright red star on the tailbone section is screaming, "I'm a piece of meat check out my ass!" Seriously Alpine Star, you're over doing it with the logos. No bad ass biker wants to be seen with a flashy bright red star on his ass, because that is definitely not cool. As I'm typing this, I've procured a sheet of sand paper to sand it out. If you want protection, nothing is better than hard armor. Bulky foam isn't going to save your ass from the corner of a rock or rail, only hard armor has what it takes to properly disperse the blow, and these shorts dish it out in spades.

These are some slick duds & I found the fit to be just right. While probably not the best shorts for long pedaling sessions they are the ducks-guts for downhill bombing. After awhile I didnt even feel them under my riding shorts. I've yet too try their protective quality in a big endo get-off but its good to know they are there for the inevitable.

He didn't like the last one because it was too noticeable, but I prefer the extra safety. Seller also has a cheaper price tag on shirt than purchased on Amazon not including shipping. It turns out they were within driving distance too. My fault for not looking into company more closely, but selling online should presumably save them money. $15 mark up seems excessive.

These shoes are so comfortable. The turquoise color is so easy on the eyes. It came with another pair of laces in turquoise, they seem a little short for me, but its not a problem since I skip the last 2 holes so I cant tie my lazy laces. I get them dirty and dusty a lot but cleaning up is easy, I just pat the dirt away with my hands of a damp cloth. Very pretty and very comfortable. I wear them to work all the time.

The Start short by Salomon is a great lightweight short. I use this for morning runs and races. Of note, there is no key pocket, but there is one pocket on the back of the short for a gel, or something small. I would not place my key there for fear of losing it.

For the price, this is a great short. Under $20 is a relatively good deal!

Got this bag in preparation for the upcoming ski season, and it holds all my wife's gear so well, I'm ordering another in a different color for myself. The boots enter via a large pocket in the back, which is lined with what appears to be a waterproof surface that I imagine will be easy to clean. The top compartment holds helmet, goggles, and even a rolled-up pair of ski pants. All this, and there's still room in the front for a small camelbak and 2 pairs of gloves.

I also tested it with men's size 10 ski boots and an XL helmet. Everything still fits!

It's also been used as a carryon bag for non-skiing purposes, just because the size is so perfect and it can pack in so much.

My daughter uses this pack to carry her ski equipment. It holds a pair of ski boots, one race helmet, one pair of ski gloves, and goggles comfortably. Please note this is the updated backpack version. The old one has the same dimension but is partitioned differently so her helmet will not fit. If you are a parent with multiple racers in the family, this is a must. BTW, the boot compartment is large enough to hold my wife's ski boots and still leaves plenty of room for storage in other compartments.

I bought this bag to carry my brand new ski boots and chose it because it could also fit a helmet. I got the tartan (olive and puple plaid) and while it isn't my favorite color, it's a very useful bag. I easily fit my boots, helmet, goggles, two pairs of gloves, and socks. I could probably also fit my snow pants in with the boots if I wanted to.

I will say if you're a woman with large feet that your boots might not fit. My ski boots are size 24.0, and if they were much longer, it would start to be a tight fit. The size of your boots also affects how much space you have left in the other two pockets.
