The shirt has a gel material that will deaden anything that hits it, in this case it's baseballs... And protects the heart... my son has worn this for a couple seasons and it has withstood bi-weekly washings 9 months out of the year between Spring and Fall practices and games. It's not bulky and it's not hot. Works perfectly and seems to last.

My son loves his Zombang. Traditional baseball heart guards are uncomfortable and cumbersome. I have nothing negative to say! Just as good as the expensive Under Armor ones for half the price.

Best Deals for Rawlings Youth Protective Shirt

The product is fine. Does not cover a lot of area though. My son's last protective shirt from Dunham's covered more area, and was a little thicker. He didn't like the last one because it was too noticeable, but I prefer the extra safety. Seller also has a cheaper price tag on shirt than purchased on Amazon not including shipping. It turns out they were within driving distance too. My fault for not looking into company more closely, but selling online should presumably save them money. $15 mark up seems excessive.

My son plays little league baseball, 9-10 year old. Those boys throw hard! He has Ben hit a few times, this shirt is comfortable here in sunny south Florida and offers protection!

Definitely have recommended, to others.
