Ibex is the warmest and best made wool products I've found and I've tried many. Going out in the cold winter days this is what I grab first, espically skiing and during the storms. Mountain biking this is too heavy unless tempratures are below 30F. As the breathability is excellent it can be worn when warmer but that's usually when I wear thinner, lighter weight base layer. Owned this for 5 years and shows no signs of wear but living in Tucson it doesn't get alot of use unless hitting the slopes or a cold spell.

Also own Icebreaker, I/O Bio and Patagonia wool but Ibex is warmer while Icebreaker is softer.

Merino wool is soft, comfortable, doesn't stink up and keeps you warm when wet. I use this as my base layer for all my outdoor activities with combination of other merino wool garments. No surprises when the temperature suddenly drops on the trails and I am all sweaty.

Very well made. Merino wool is very nicely woven. What I really like about this company is that their products seem to hold up really well. Unlike smartwool they age well and best of all they are NOT made in China. They are made in Canada. All in all a good value.

Once the band is changed it is a great, comfortable watch. It is a decent sized watch for a 7 inch wrist. Second hand lines up perfectly. Bezel ring rotates very smoothly and is nice and snug with no play. It is the about the same dimensions of my Tag Heuer Aqua Racer. My wife would not let me change the metal band on my tag for a rubber one, so I bought this inexpensive watch instead. If you are thinking about getting the Casio Mako(cheap feeling, lots of play in the bezel ring), I will say that this is a much higher quality watch for just a little bit more. This is in the same league as my Seiko Pepsi Diver with regards to quality. Even though it says Pulsar on it, it might as well be a Seiko. Seikos are some of the highest quality inexpensive watches. The Lume is as bright as my Seiko Divers watch was. The crystal is slightly recessed, which is nice. Nice clean face and hands with similar styling to the seiko divers watches. The watch is very comfortable on the wristit rests nicely without a lot of jiggling around on the wrist, which is nice.

Downsides? Nothing is perfect. I was going to try to endure the strap that came on the watch. I lasted about an hour before I ran out to the local watch store for a replacement. The stock strap actually made red indentations into my wrist. It is sharp and cruel. Hence the four star rating. The new strap fixed all of that. I bought a nice black rubber strap with white stitching that makes the watch look more expensive than it is. The only real down side is the strap.

If I wanted to be really picky I could complain about the lack of a 200 meter rating, but I only swim on the top 1 meter of the water, usually. Or I could nitpick that does not have a screw down crown, or that the crown is not fancy. The bezel ring does not have a clearly identifiable marker at the 12 o'clock positionthe 12 o'clock position looks almost the same as 3, 6 and 9 . The back of the watch is flat and unimpressive. But who looks at the back of a watch? The watch might not be as finished as my Tag Heuer, but it is good for the price.

The only other potential down side is that this watch was probably manufactured in 2006, which was about 5 years ago. So either the battery is going to be dead real soon, or else they already replaced the battery.

I think that the price reduction is probably because they have a lot on hand. Many people have probably bought ecodrive watches instead. Would I have liked the fancier Citizen ecodrive instead? Yes, but not for more. If this lasts me 4 years before I am sick of it then I will have gotten my money's worth.

Overall great knock around watch. Just don't bother at all with the strapplan on changing it right away.

Seiko owns Pulsar, this is a Seiko watch for all intents and purposes. Some complain about the bandnot sure what they are complaining about. I find the band to be excellent. It keeps the watch square on the wrist, doesn't pull hair and has a huge amount of adjustment. The watch is built like a tank and the craftsmanship is top notchright up there with Citizen. The only downfall of this watch is no screw-down crown but I have water tested it and it did not leak one bit. The unidirectional bezel is tight and smooth. The size is perfect toonot huge and gaudy like some out there but not womens size like those smaller field watches. It is around 41mm. The lume is out of this world, it will light up a small patch of wall in the dark fully charged. At $65 it is probably the bargain of diving watches on amazon but I picked up one pre-owned in mint condition on ebay for $39 with boxes and papers. Not much else to say, this watch is an excellent value and being built by Seiko with a Seiko japanese movement inside there aren't too many bang for the buck watches out there that even come close to the quality of this Pulsar. Finally, the amazon specifications list the band width as 22mm which is inaccurate. The width of the band is 20mm. Also, it says the model year is 2006 which could confuse some. My watch was built in January of 2011 per the serial number on the back of the watch. The first number represents year of the decade watch was built and second number represents the month with the letters N and D signifying November and December.

I got this one for my friend. Looks kind of "manly", the dial is big and you actually feel it on your hand. A good choice indeed. This model is actually a modified version of another model(#PF3293) by the same company which is priced at about $90. Needless to say that the other one is much more stylish but then this model saved you about 40 bucks and comes with just a little compromise on that guys kinda casual-flair.

I would say this watch is certainly worth its price. So, go for it if you are running tight on your budget but if you can spare another $40 the other model is definitely a better choice. Someone else talked about the flimsy strap, I have'nt really had any problems with that.

I do not like to submit reviews until I have lived with the item for a while. Need to make an exception. The product description states that the band width is 22mm..INCORRECT..The correct band width is 20mm. Know this for a fact. The watch arrived today and I had planned to change out the rubber band with a black nylon Zulu band. Lucky I had both a 22mm and a 20mm. 22mm is to wide and causes the Zulu to pucker badly. 20mm fits perfect. Makes a difference if someone is also ordering a different replacement band (Zulu ect.)at the same time expecting it to fit. This needs to be updated on the product description. Will submit a review on the watch after I live with it for a while.

Well I have lived with this watch for awhile now and here are some further thoughts.. Nice size on this watch, not over sized which seems to be a current fashion trend. Solid feel and a very comfortable weight. Bezel rotation is solid and easy. Illumination on the watch face is pretty good and last as long as some of the more expensive watches I have. The watch face is very easy to read and the date window is easy to read...Now for the couple of short comings I have found..The bezel has no illumination at all. Most bezels have a dot at 12 position. This watch has none which means the bezel in low light is pretty useless. Not sure what the thought process was on this decision.

I cannot figure out what they were thinking when they decided to put THE WORST BAND EVER on this watch. $2 watches come with better bands than this watch has. Not only is it uncomfortable but really cheap looking. Does not fit the watch well and seems to almost be an afterthought. First thing I did was throw away the original band and put a 20mm black Zulu band on. All in all I really like this watch now. Handsome, solid watch once the band was changed out. Great kick around watch even with the extra cost of changing out the band.

I am a normal sized women (122 lbs, 5ft 4) regular sized head. I bought the sm/med which would normally be the perfect size for me. When I put it on it was soooo snug and way too tight around my head. The draw string feature was useless and i would have gotten headaches due to the sizing and tightness. There doesnt seem to be a next size up (med/large) so i ordered the large/xl which too me seems a little extreme, but then again its only a size number. Just be aware that this hat runs small! I will update my review once i get the new size.

I love the color avocado. Its a tad darker in person then the picture, but still a very nice color. Nice and bright so you wont be missed on the slopes! I like that the ear flaps can be worn 2 ways and the draw string features seems like it would be great when the hat is a little looser and not glued to my head.

***9/28/12 got my new hat size. its HUGE. But with the draw-string feature it sinches right up to a nice snug fit but not headache snug. the hats have a lining on the inside, so on the small/med the hat would have fit if the lining wasnt so tight, but you cant remove the lining. unless you have a smaller head i would get the large/xl.

Light camisole with shelf bra -which is probably a bit too light for larger chested women.

I purchased the XL size, as I'm trying to find shelf bras that don't feel like tourniquets, and I'm not having much luck. The lace across the top pulled taught on me [38D to 38DD] and caused the lace to distort and not lay in any way you'd consider decorative. However, I am losing weight, and when I lost about 6 pounds it no longer strained, and lay fine. But it was now a little big for the job of providing support.

I really wanted to like this, as I'm trying desperately to purchase only Made in USA products, and finding bras/support has been the hardest of anything -but I'm afraid for larger chested women, I can't recommend this one.

I purchased this for camping and our beach vacation, but I could really use this all summer. The shelf bra is very comfortable, and the easy wash in the sink means you truly need only 2 for as long as you need. I will definitely get a couple in nude and call it complete. This top is incredibly comfortable like a second skin. The black provided good coverage. The melon needs a bra under it. I don't know why two different colors would have different levels of support, but they did. It stays tucked into bottoms even through bending, reaching, climbing, and crawling. Is a little loose if you order your usual size. If you want it tight, order a size down. The bottom hem rolls up if you try to wear it untucked. I'll be adding some kind of trim to keep it down.

Overall I love this top in black, but wish I had skipped it in melon.

I'm writing this review and pasting it under the other Hunters Spec. Tek 4 clothing items I purchased this season. The clothing is comfortable and feels almost like silk. I'm gonna have to repeat everything I did this opening season because I shot my first deer in a spot I had been hunting for 3 years now. I spend my life walking to gigs with a hardshell guitar case and bag strapped to my body. So having a grippy and comfortable strap is essential. I have a long history with Eagle Creek straps and own four I bought in the 90s and early 2000s. Those straps are the bee's knees of strapdom: military spec metal hardware, tough nylon webbing and the world's most comfy and grippy shoulder pad. Those old straps are still going strong but my guitar collection has been growing, hence another Eagle Creek strap.

This new Eagle Creek strap is a disappointment for my needs and compared to their old design. Yes, the picture looks similar to the old design--similar clips and web materials--but the strap and pad are much smaller, obviously intended for light duty on a messenger, computer or camera bag. Carrying a heavy guitar case or fully loaded tote bag is all about strong clips and a thick, wide, grippy and comfy shoulder pad. And this shoulder pad is thin and bites into my shoulder with a heavy load. Alas, this is the only strap Eagle Creek makes. So my quest for the perfect heavy load strap continues. The nearest to old Eagle Creek quality I've found is the pricy Victorinox Comfort Fit Shoulder Strap. Not bee's knees territory but the shoulder pad is wide, grippy and soft enough to make it to my next gig.

I bought this item for use with my notebook computer's carrying "folio". It has easy-snap fasteners, swivelers to keep out twists, a shoulder pad that doesn't slip out of position and most of all, it seems to be rugged enough for carrying around town.

It would work for a gym bag, but only for a small person.

This shoulder strap is well made. The shoulder pad is stitched to the strap, and the strap length can be adjusted at both ends to keep the pad in the middle. I prefer this arrangement to shoulder pads which slide along the strap, because the sliding pads don't stay in place when carrying the bag, and tend to wear out.

The only reason I'm disappointed with this strap is that I have an older clip-on shoulder strap from Eagle Creek which is even better. The older strap is wider and has a larger, more thickly padded should pad with a textured surface that keeps it from slipping off of your shoulder. I wish they still sold the older model, which was much better for heavy luggage. I use my new shoulder strap on my briefcase and I use the older shoulder strap for luggage.

The waistband is more snug than I would expect for how baggy the legs are.

The liner is removable, but the pad in the liner is sewn in.

Construction seems good, and the shorts are comfortable.

Double stitching is well finished, and every layer is moisture wicking.

Has front and side pockets, for all of the junk we lug (vs having to put keys, wallet, phone, and snacks in a backpack or a bike bag).

Honestly, I'd like the legs of a large, but the waist of a 1.5X on the outer short.

The liner is sized perfectly. Stretchy and an even pressure all around.

I may pick up an extra pair of these, but am still looking for perfection somewhere.

Reviews of Orca Men's S4 Wetsuit

I'm comparing this to a Camaro Speedskin and a Xterra Vortex 3, just so you have a point of reference.

The Camaro I had issues with collecting water when my arm in the water, in the Orca, it's just snug enough to not allow this to happen, while not being too tight. I was actually afraid I was going to run in to the same situation after I put it on when feeling the wrist-cuffs. All is good there. On thing I liked about the Camaro was how thin it was. I don't mind the extra buoyancy, but I don't want to feel like I'm wearing a 7mm wetsuit to get it. The Orca is the perfect balance for me of buoyancy and thickness. I've lost 100lbs in the last 2yrs, so I'm mainly getting this to hold everything together, and the Orca does that while still maintaining flexibility. The Vortex 3 was almost an extreme thickness compared to both the Camaro and the Orca. It truly felt like a 5mm wetsuit (which I believe certain panels are). I'm a very strong swimmer, so I'm not getting it with buoyancy in mind.

I started training for triathlons this year and I needed a wetsuit to help with the buoyancy during the open water swim training and racing. I originally bought an XTerra suit online direct from the website, but the sizing chart was confusing as I fit into 3 different sizes based on my height (6'1") and weight (185#). Customer service told me what size to order and it ended up being too large as I felt flooded while I was swimming.

I then did some more research and found that my measurements fit best into the Orca size chart (8). Entry level wetsuits with full sleeves seem to range between $200 and $300 so this suit is at the low end of the range. It fit perfectly and there wasn't the flooded water feeling with the last suit. It's not as buoyant as a $1000 wetsuit, but when you're on your stomach swimming you can definitely notice the added buoyancy in your torso and legs. The sleeves aren't constricting at all and provide additional buoyancy and catch in the water that you'll find helpful.

For under $250 you won't find a better full sleeved wetsuit out there unless you want to take your chances with an X-Terra wetsuit and roll the dice on getting a proper fit.

Swim took me twice as long as expected but I stayed warm and didn't get worn out due to arm fatigue from a constricting fit. another suit might have been rough on that. no complaints!

All the colors are nice, particularly orange and silver. My wife just complimented me on the maroon shorts I'm wearing right now.

So, when I was in high school, I played football. Both of my older brothers before me played football, and we came from your average american household. Not far from our house was a mom and pop store that sold sporting goods. They mostly carried athletic clothing, and in their store they had a bunch of Dodger brand shorts for cheap, all laid out on tables. These shorts had no pockets, and were basically well-rounded for all sport activity, especially football. They also fit best underneath my football pants, since they had no pockets and were of the shimmery/dazzle kind.

My older brother and I bought enough Dodger shorts from this mom and pop store to last a full week of football playing, and after many years of tough use, they began to fray and get fuzzy. I had them for all 4 years of football, and then some. I even had my lucky pair that I wore every game day. They were gold, and in the way of Seinfeld, they became known as my golden boys. Eventually I had to retire these shorts, but they were the best of their kind in the day, and all my friends asked where I purchased them. I'm pretty sure they all went and purchased a few pairs of their own.

The following time I went to this store to buy more shorts from them, the Dodger brand was gone and they were all A4. I kind of frowned, since I have loyalty to brands/styles that are that remarkable. But, I bought myself some A4 shorts, eventually resurrecting my golden boys. These shorts are simply perfect. I have had the few pairs from the mom and pop store for years, and they are still going strong (I'd easily say I've had them 8 years, and wear them more than any other article of clothing I own). The mom and pop store went out of business, and the only reason I know this is because I went back a few years ago just to buy more shorts. These shorts get heavy rotation in my laundry, and not only do I exercise in them several times a week, I usually sleep in a pair every night (8 hours of wear right there). Eventually 5 pairs of shorts just wouldn't cut it. My laundry schedule was controlled by whether I had a clean pair of these shorts on hand. I haven't been able to find shorts like these anywhere.

Until now.

I finally found these puppies. I have been to sporting goods stores, Nike stores, you name it, just trying to find a respectable replacement for these shorts. I would never settle though. I absolutely hate the mesh shorts these days. And I hate worse the fact that all athletic shorts have pockets. I DO NOT need pockets when I run, or when I lift weights, and I hate the extra fabric sown into athletic shorts just to make a stupid pocket. Plus I sleep in these shorts, so I don't need any damn pockets annoying me at night.

Pros:

No pockets

As smooth as silk, great for sleeping in, and then wearing around the house all day

Noiseless

Not mesh, instead the most beautiful eye-catching "shimmer/dazzle"

Last way longer than the average marriage

Fits perfect

Wicking? I wouldn't know, I sweat too hard

Draw string, which I've used to hold a house key or my wedding band when running or lifting

Absolutely none

I choose mediums, and some of the colors fit "slightly" different than others, but not worth bothering about. I'm a 30" waist, slim vegan who runs, lifts weights, and sleeps in these shorts. If you know these are what you need, then you know you need to buy them now.

I bought this product because the waist belt that I had used to roll down while doin excersises like sit-ups or crunches. The shoulder straps really keep the thing in place while also adding bonus upper back sweating/shaping...

I bought an XL and my waiste is a 34 my t-shirt size is a mens large and the thing barely fits... any smaller and I think the zipper would give. It is also short... I am 5'3" and when I do pull ups the thing rises to my belly button.

I would recommend the product over the commonly used waist belts..

I bought a large based upon other reviews I am a 36" bust, the fit is great, I am very glad I could leave it zipped and just pull it over my head comfortably. Feels great and really helps your posture during exercise as well as make you sweat! I would suggest to the manufacturer that the zipper be closed at the armpit (not opening all the way) and zip from the top down instead of the bottom up. This would eliminate the zipper sliding down and gapping the front and back of the tankini right under the arm, which rubs against your inner arm during exercise. I have sewed mine shut at both ends of the zipper and just pull it over my head. Other than the zipper issue I love this product, very high quality and light easy to move in.

This stuff is great! I wear this under my regular tops for shaping and keeping warm. Size S fits me just fine as I am between 4 and 6, but I want something that holds me tightly, so I am ordering an XS now.

The size fits like a comfortable snug glove, support is amazing!

Side zipper slightly digs, but after sewing a strip of felt along side of zipper between skin was okay.

And a Velcro piece on outside top of zipper aids in prevention of zipper slipping down into skin.

I definitely sweat a lot. Cool days and working nights it's nice. Warm/ hot days somewhat roasting!

Initially I bought it for the weight loss, BUT it also has made an awesome difference for my back.

Normally working, standing on my feet majority of day hurts my back that I feel I need to lie down, but of course I can't.

OTC pills help but I don't like having to take them.

So after wearing this to work it finally dawned on me that my back had not been hurting. At times I've had to work back/ back 12 hr shifts an my back is fine, no pain!!!!

So for the back I definitely reccomend it!

As for the weight loss haven't had it long enough, right diet/ exercise I'm sure it would work.

I would like for the back to be a bit higher?

Even though there was the added sewing, THIS WAS WORTH IT, ESPECIALLY FOR MY BACK!

So much worth it I bought another, got to have a backup!

My dog is medium about 45 lbs, and I ordered a "large" jersey. It is extremely tight on her. She's pretty trim, and I can hardly velcro the jersey around her chest and stomach.

That said, the quality of the jersey is pretty high for dog clothing (which I don't typically buy). They've done a good job of capturing the essence of Braves uniforms in a dog jersey. I would've spent up to $20 for this (bought for less than $10).
