Cheap MLB Hard Hat

This OSHA-approved hard hat was purchased by this long-time Cubs fan to wear at Habitat for Humanity builds. The hat itself is sturdy enough and comes with a very adjustable headband.

The only caveat I had was you had to assemble said headband in the hat after opening the package. It's not rocket science, but the instructions were printed on the outside of a clear plastic bag (so, hard to read) and were included with instructions for several different models of hats (so I had to figure out which instructions applied to my hat).

Eventually, I got it figured out, but given the importance of proper assembly if you're actually using this hat for the purpose it was intended, perhaps the manufacturer could make these a bit more clear.

Other than that, great hat, and well worth the price.

While I agree that the product received does match the description, the item does NOT match the image attached to the page. The image attached is a 1940's era jersey replica. The one in the description and the one that I received was a more modern era jersey. I think most people really pay more attention to images than descriptions. I got this bowl for a christmas present for my husband because he LOVES the Red Sox. I thought it would be a cute bowl just to keep in the car for giving the dog water or dinner on the road, but the bowl was better than I expected... it's a heavy-duty plastic and very deep (plenty of room for food since we have a huge dog)

We ended up using this as his regular dish and retiring the old dish we had. It's a great dish for a large dog!

I bought two of these shirts in different colors (green and raspberry) for my wife's birthday. The shirts are nicely made. Since they are all cotton, they look nice and are comfortable for her to wear in warm, muggy weather. However, we noticed something odd about the two shirts. Although they are the same size, the dimensions of one are noticeably bigger than the other. If you lay one atop the other, there is at least an inch difference in the width going from one side seam to the other. They both seem to fit her well enough, but the difference in the dimensions of the shirts seems a bit odd.

For the price you won't go wrong. This is not a cold weather headset. The picture makes it look like you can see through the netting but not so with the one I bought. It has two elastic straps on the inside to go around your head to hold the mask in place with a heavy gauge bendable wire you can form to your nose. Others I have bought cause my glasses to fog up when I breath on cooler days; this one allows the moisture to pass through the mesh without pushing it up through the opening around the eyes. Put a little cammo paint around the eyes and you won't be seen even if your wife comes looking for you in the woods.

I have a large head and I sweat a lot. This thing fits great under my bicycle helmet, i barely notice it. and it keeps my head from getting too sweaty and keeps my helmet much drier, which is great for riding home from work. I plan to ride all summer with this thing. hopefully it can hold up.

I purchased this cap to wear under my helmet when I ride my mountain bike. The quality of the material is great! However, it doesn't have a comfortable fit! I have a normal sized head for a female but the stitching around the band is sewn extremely tight, which means it will probably give me a headache after wearing it a few hrs when riding my bike.

Pros: Made of good quality material. Will absorb the sweat.

Cons: Stitching in headband is sewn too tight.

I bought this for my 6 year old son so he could wear it under his helmet during his skating lessons. He would complain about his hair sticking to the helmet and it would bother him. It is slightly big, but it does the trick. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because there were no options for different sizes. It works as advertised: breathable and very thin so as to not interfere with the helmet. Highly recommended.

I purchased my one and only black Headsweats skull cap 8 years ago to wear under my helmets when mountain biking or taking 20+ mile rides on my road bike. It was a revelation! Sweat no longer rolled down into my eyes or down my neck during the hot Texas summers. In fact, I couldn't tell that my head was sweating at all. I just dunked it in water, squeezed out the excess, and put it on before my helmet. As the water evaporated, it cooled my head. Once the water was gone, it soaked up the sweat, which evaporated, cooling my head again. An on-going cycle. In cool weather I put it on dry and it helped keep my head warm.

Now I am getting a little old to recover from possible broken bones from mountain biking, so I have given up mountain biking and about a week ago I bought a motorcycle. I have been using this skull cap as a motorcycle helmet liner (but my bicycles have been so much a part of my life that I will never part with them, and still ride them around the neighborhood). I went for a motorcycle ride today and made several stops, removing my helmet at each. When I got home and removed my helmet, the Headsweats was gone! It pulled off of my head at some point when removing my helmet, and is now lost. I will have to buy another.

I guess the onlything bad that I can say about it is that it is so light weight and unobtrusive that I can't feel whether it is on my head or not. So, I lost it.

Yup, bought it eight years ago, and it still looked like new.

By the way, when I first bought it, it seemed too small. After wetting it and wearing it a few times it stretched nicely to give me a perfect fit.

I bought this to prevent sweat from being absorbed into my motorcycle helmet padding after excercising, and it's perfect. I was initially concerned about the cap being too bulky to fit under my helmet. It's difficult to tell from the picture, but the material is very thin and has no effect at all on how my helmet fits. The first time I wore it under my helmet, I could literally feel the air circulating inside my helmet above the cap on the top of my head, evaporating my sweat away. I wear a men's size L helmet, and I would describe my head size as average. The cap fits tight enough to stay on my head when removing my helmet, but not so tight that I notice it.

Really, it's perfect for what needed very happy I purchased this.

I am a huge fan of Smartwool and was excited to see them in my son's size. However, my son wears a size 10 shoe and these socks were definitely large on him. Also, although they say "light," they are in fact quite bulky. As a result, my son's shoes don't actually fit on over these socks. On the up side, they will fit him for a couple years, and will be great in snow boots. For wearing inside regular school shoes in winter, I would recommend the Smartwool Saturnsphere sock, which we also purchased. It is still a bit too big, but it fits inside his shoes.

Bought this base layer to wear under my cycling jersey for winter months. It really did the job in 30 degree weather, kept me warm and dry and it fits really well and the material is also nice. I find Pearl Izumi fits true to size, washed really well and kept is shape. Definitely would recommend this base layer for running or cycling.

Cons:

Hood is small, so it doesn't fit if you have hair tied up in a bun

The Zipper Blows, it broke the first day I wore this

Zipper stops too far from the bottom, so legs get cold

Sleeves are too long (but cozy)

I wouldn't buy it again, but I'm happy to have it.

Best Deals for Tyr Team Parka Adult

I didn't realize swim parkas even existed until a few months ago, but once I learned of them I decided one would be the perfect way to get me in and out of the swim rec center fast so I could shower at home and not need to bring all my shower and after-shower products with me.

I decided I needed a size small and at the time, Amazon did not have the red color in a small and so I had to order from another source (Swim Outlet). For reference, I am a large-framed 5'9" woman (I'm jokingly referred to as an Amazon by my husband). The small fits me well with room to spare. I probably could have gone with the extra small, but am fine with the extra roominess. The length goes to my knees when standing which is nice because I have long legs. The sleeves are a little long for me so I do roll them back a little or use the velcro on the cuffs to keep them from overtaking my hands.

I chose this swim parka over others available because:

-the price was better

-it supposedly has a slimmer cut (which I can't really attest to as I've never worn any other swim parka)

-I liked the interior and exterior pockets

-it doesn't have a back slit which I was afraid would expose my legs too much

-I liked that the red color was an option so that I didn't feel like I was wearing a shapeless garbage bag like with the navy or black colors standard with other swim parkas

After reading the reviews about the zipper blow outs on this parka, I was a little apprehensive but decided to buy anyway. I did find that my zipper was a little stiff initially, but being armed with the info from the reviews, I decided to gently work with the zipper before even trying on the parka. I just worked it up and down several times until the zipper started to feel less stiff and more fluid. I'm also careful when zipping up the parka while it's on me, making sure not to pull hard on it or try to force anything. I do have some issues with getting the zipper aligned properly to start zipping it up, but usually it just takes a couple of tries. I find this issue to be common in jackets where the zipper can be used in the normal fashion, but can also be unzipped from the bottom while still fastened at the top; I think that dual action makes it hard to align both sides of the zipper sometimes.

The fleece is very warm. I swim at the outdoor pool in the summer and the parka has been too warm to wear while driving to the pool. There was one afternoon that became very blustery and I finally got to use the parka in all its glory; it was fantastic to just slip it on and be warm and ready to go home. In the spring though going to the indoor pool, the parka was great and I didn't overheat. I'm sure I'll be glad I have it while swimming next winter.

In all, highly recommended. Just make sure to treat the zipper with care and you shouldn't have any problems.

My dog is medium about 45 lbs, and I ordered a "large" jersey. It is extremely tight on her. She's pretty trim, and I can hardly velcro the jersey around her chest and stomach.

That said, the quality of the jersey is pretty high for dog clothing (which I don't typically buy). They've done a good job of capturing the essence of Braves uniforms in a dog jersey. I would've spent up to $20 for this (bought for less than $10).

Buy Beyond Yoga Women's Original Pant

The fabric is lovely to feel, but does not drape properly. Beyond Yoga says the inseam is 32", so I knew I would have to hem as I am petite. But my pair measured 34", so I had to cut the fabric to hem. I would not have purchase a 34" inseam pant, especially in a knit fabric, for this reason. Knits roll when you cut the fabric, so hemming them is not for the inexperienced. The seams are well-done, but the cut is off. Backside coverage is good, but the front rise is far too short. As a result, no matter where I place the waistband, I get crotch cleavage. That's not flattering on anyone. These are cut slim in the thighs as well, which is nice for me, but will not work for women with thick thighs.

These pants are quite comfortable, but the fabric has so much give, they slide off the waist. There is no elastic at all in the pants. A thin, flat elastic band would make a world of difference. Whether I'm doing sun salutations, twists, or forward bends, I find I have to tug them back up every few minutes.

So many customers wrote glowing reviews, and I can understand that given the sumptuous fabric. But I am a practical yogi, and I will not buy this brand again.

WOW, whichever reviewer claimed this was the most comfortable garment she owned was not lying. the material is soo soft, a lot thicker than i expected but does not make you too hot at all. the material is also reeally stretchy. soft + stretchy = perfect.

i am 5'4", 120lb and got the small in graphite grey (the color is accurate on my monitor) -it fits perfectly and the length on the bottom extends about 1" from my heel which fits fine over sneakers.

they are very flattering.. makes your legs look shapely. the waistband is also extremely comfortable.. i can barely tell it's there.

did i mention i'm wearing them right now?? i'll order more as soon as i can.

I bought these pants and absolutely LOVE them! In the gym I do a combination of weight lifting and running/cardio machines, and these pants remain supportive, do not ride up or down and are extremely comfortable. I also tend to sweat a lot when running, and these pants absorb the moisture away from my skin. I have bought other yoga pants for much less and can honestly say you really get what you pay for as the other pants lose their color and stretchiness and do not absorb moisture.

One of the other reviewers was (unfortunately) correct when she wrote that these pants don't look good with shoes on. They look terrible with tennis shoes. There's no flare at the bottom of the leg and they really remind me of the lines of the pants that many elderly women wear. So, around the house with bare feet they're okay, but outside, not so cool looking. The fabric and construction quality is superior to all of my other yoga pants. Pity that they missed the mark on style. Because of that, not worth the extra cost.

I love these capris! I've been searching for a good pair of shorts to wear while cycling and was not satisfied with a lot of what I was finding. A lot of women's shorts have shorter inseams, but I was looking for some that were at least knee length or longer. I just happened across these commuter capris on aero tech's website and was so thrilled when I found them! I also noticed on their website that they had an Amazon store, so I decided to buy them here as I was able to save some dollars buying them through Amazon instead of directly through their website.

Edited 8.28.12: Currently, the price for these on Aerotech's website is the same as here on Amazon.

These commuters are a combo of nylon and spandex, so they're stretchy, which I love while cycling. They're like cargo shorts with 6 pockets total: 2 normal front pockets, 2 zippered pockets on the back and 2 more zippered pockets on the legs. Perfect for carrying smaller items like a cell phone, or energy bar, money, etc., and not have to worry that anything will fall out. The leg openings have adjustable drawstrings, but I have not had to use them. They are very comfy to wear, have a really soft feel to them and are very light. It's also nice that Aero Tech offers these in plus size, which is what I needed, and they feel true to size. These shorts do not come with padding already installed, though. Padded shorts would need to be worn underneath, if that is what you need. I think it would be great if they made a version of these with the padding installed, maybe have the option to buy padded or unpadded.

Even though I wear them for cycling, they would really be good for other activities like hiking, or working out in general and really just everyday wear! I love them enough, I plan on buying another pair in the blue color! I wish they would make these available in a few more colors.

I would definitely recommend these!

I loved them. I have always resisted the idea of Bicycle shorts. Since I was going on Ragbrai and I decided to some one. My hips were on the small size of the sizing chart, and they were a little loose, but that is what I wanted. Riding on a bike all day they felt comfortable and with the belt they held securely in place. I bought a women's Liner Short, that I wore underneath my commuter shorts. When the day warmed up I slipped my commuter shorts off, in favor of the biking shorts only. The 6 pockets in commuter shorts where very convenient and useful. They have adjustable leg opens but a usually wore them open.
