Surprise! I've been meaning to write a review on this order for over a month. I'm not sure where this seller is getting their supply of 5.11 shirts but mine had been stitched with someone's name on one side and their company on the other DVAL, Inc.????? I noticed it after it was pointed out by one of my friend's on the range. It's a black shirt so unless you're looking for it's hard to see indoors but outdoors or in the right light it sticks out like a sore thumb!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

It's a shame b/c I love 5.11 clothing. Wonder if the seller will contact me to make it right???

The fit and quality of this shirt are outstanding and were exactly what was promised by the manufacturer. IWB carry is a snap with this shirt. The shirt even makes on the waistband carry with a good paddle holster possible because the shirt hangs low and has the breakaway velcro on the sides. However, I think that the shirt works best in combination with the 5.11 Tactical Holster Shirt. I recommend it and will be buying many more of these.

Comfortable shirt, fits nice. As far as shirts go, I honestly prefer the Blackhawk 1700 shirts. Only real complaint on this shirt is the Velcro on each side at the seams.

As an adult male 57 years old, it irritates the hell out of me not to be able to buy shorts that don't hang 2, 3, or more inches below my knee. Not wanting to go back to my youth and have "hot pants" or "short shorts", but I do like to find shorts that are shorts, not "pedal pushers". I just went for my first run in these shorts and love them. They are really lightweight and fast drying, but also incredibly breathable. I was worried about the built in crepe brief because I normally wear my own compression shorts while running. However, I decided to give it a try without compression shorts and trust that NB knows what they are doing...and of course they do!

I haven't had them for long, so I can't speak to durability, but they seem well made thus far.

Running shorts could not be better made than this. Light, fit well, comfortable..what else can you ask for? I bought 3 pairs of New Balance shorts (pay about 1/3 of the price at Amazon vs. NB store in the mall) and could not be happier witht them. High tech material, airy and light, no chaff and looks good. Comes with 2 generous side pockets and a small secured key pocket. I am thinking about buying a few more pairs for daily wear instead of shorts. There is a unnoticed difference between a 5-inch and 7-inch shorts, so it doesn't matter which one, the all look the same.

Why get fleece for one, not to mention Patagonia or other expensive brands, when this merino wool zip is available? I am an outdoor person and have worn fleece 1/4 zips forever, but after trying this brand's merino wool shirts I'll never go back. They are warmer, softer, and not prone to collecting body odor that poly-pro base layers ALWAYS do eventually. They wash and dry well and look good on their own out to dinner with a scarf. Two thumb's up, highly recommend! But, more colors and patterns please!

I bought these shorts because I had a pair about 10 years ago that I have worn for 10 years. The ones from 10 years ago were made of thick nylon that felt good to wear. They felt like they would last forever. Even the mesh pockets were made of a sturdy mesh. In fact, they have lasted forever. I still wear them. I just hoped to get a couple more pair with a little longer inseam. Unfortunately, I the materials and the fit have changed. They aren't comfortable and don't look that great either. I wouldn't recommend these short.

Just ordered these shorts as a pair of swim trunks. The built in belt is nice, the pockets are deep, and the velcro on the back pockets really secure your wallet, or whatever else is there. The material is very lightweight, but seems pretty sturdy, and the stitching is strong. These are not heavy-duty outdoor rugged shorts for climbing mountains, but if you're just looking for something for hot weather, or for swimming they are perfect. Couldn't be happier.

I bought these for a hiking trip to Maine. I wanted a low rise stretch convertible cargo pant and these seemed to be what I was looking for. I normally wear size 6 and I ordered one of each color. I ended out sending both of them back and exchanging for size 4. Both of the pairs of size 6 were too large, however the size 6 Mud was looser than the size 6 Khaki. You'd think clothing manufacturers would have uniformity with their cloths, I guess not! The 4's fit great however the Khaki was a little longer then the Mud color. I can deal with that but for this price there should be better quality control. Other than that I love these pants! I love that they zip off into shorts, it was so convenient on hikes as the day warmed up. They look great too! I like the light weight fabric, it feels so soft and silky and dries really fast. Lots of pockets too, but I wish they were Velcro instead of buttons. Overall these are great pants and I hope to have them for years.

These are well-fitting and true to size. They are the thinnest wool socks that Darn Tough offers (if you're prone to hot feet), but are still durable and come with a lifetime guarantee. They are not as good at keeping feet warm as my thicker Darn Tough socks, but they are great for running. They are slightly thicker in the toe and heel. No seams to get under your toes. The middle hugs your foot and prevents the sock from sliding around your shoe. I play basketball. In my youth, I played without any protection gear and never had the need. But alas, many years later my body is painfully acknowledging that is no longer as sprightly and quick to recover. After throwing out my back a few months ago from sneezing, (my chiropractor said she's only seen that twice in twenty years), I slowly admitted to myself I needed all the help I could get.

Basketball, one of my first loves, has been abusive for my lower back. The jumping, the stretching, the compression on my back has given me soreness days after an evening of blacktop fun.

I play basketball with this back brace on now and have notice felt no pain afterwards. My back does seem to go back to that misaligned position (when I threw out my back) from swelling but now without the pain. A few nights of sleep with a pillow under my knees and I'm ready to go out and do it all over again.

My physically fit younger brother tells me that a weak back is from having a week core / ab muscles. I'm 30 years old, 5'9.75" 180lbs and not a "gym" guy. This brace will protect me until I can once again have those abs of steel that he gloriously has now and I once had.

The brace is well-made and would highly recommend it. It doesn't work well over pants, but just under your basketball shorts. The narrow front will bunch up uncomfortably over your pants (tried them over jeans at work). The anti-microbial treatment seems to work well against odors.

I bought this item to help my lower back pain while at work. The first couple of weeks this belt did its job. My back pain was reduced to almost nothing. About a month into wearing, the velcro straps all wore down to the point where the straps do not stick anymore which makes this belt useless. I can no longer tighten it which means i no longer have back support. For being this expensive i expected this thing to be pretty rugged and well made. Its not. simple as that. If your made of money, and can buy one every month i recommend. If not, buy something that will last.

I am a fan of Pearl Izumi tops. This one is quite pricey for what you get. It is 100% Polyester, no nylon in it. Pretty standard design with no pockets and zip front. Great for wearing in warm weather for sun protection. But gotta be honest, this shirt should be $40 tops. My biking jersey Attack longsleeve has way more design features and quite a bit less. I am 6'0", 185# and Large is perfect.

I can only say this shirt is as great as Pearl Izumi would want you to believe -it's light weight, comfortable, looks and feels great. The only problem I have is the price. I think it should be 15-20% cheaper than the asking price.

Recently I purchased the PI sun sleeves and elite jersey with IN-R-Cool and was impressed with them and how well they worked as advertised, so I purchased this jersey and was not disappointed. Comfortable, fit well and seems durable. I have used them in 100+ degree humid weather here in NC and they helped keep my body cooler in combination with the other PI garments for 50+ miles. I am sold on this technology and PI as well. I'd rather have just one or 2 of these then a dozen cheaper garments that don't perform as well in the heat.

I wanted to order the home shirt also so about one week later I tried to order it from Amazon but I could not understand how the size chart for the white one was. I called Amazon and the girl could not assure me it was for youth so I ordered it from Modell's. Much to my surprise the white home shirt is so much nicer. it has real stitching on the name and number and overall it's a nicer shirt. So I am not satisfied with your product.
