I ordered this top from Amazon partner, Backcountry (same price, 2-day shipping and no sales tax for California)

This top is not "fitted" as the item description states on both Amazon and Backcountry. Zappos website indicates "relaxed fit".I suppose if you sized down 2 sizes it will become fitted.

I sized down from my usual Large with Lole, to a Medium, because of the loose looking fit on the Models and the conflicting fit descriptions...glad I did. It fits comfortably; maybe a bit looser than I'd like....definitely a relaxed fit.

I am 147 lbs today; 5' 4"/38C/32/38.

Fabric is a light, soft cotton with a bit of stretch. A strapless bra works for me. You can barely see a black bra through the material, as you can a white one.

I ordered color "Frost", which to me is a white pearl, but it's darker than the off-white pictured.....like a vanilla color. Not enamored with the color, but the style is unique and cute enough to keep.

If you are looking for a quality pair of flip flops that you'll wear daily and take camping or other outdoor activiites, keep looking. The rating for these is for the color and style. I bought them specifically because I am a huge MIami Dolphins fan. Never really considered these to be my primary flip flop. The sizing is true and they are actually comfortable to wear. I haven't done anything strenudous in these flip flops but the construction seems average so I doubt I'll test their limits. They work great for around the house and the pool. If you are an NFL fan and want some flip flops to show off your team pride these will do nicely.

I have purchased 3 of these pants (two from Amazon and one directly from Craghoppers) and thus I am assured they were not merely "lemons."

I am not sure whether Bear Grylls either replaces these pants each episode or they were simply made better during his stint on Man vs. Wild but these pants are a COMPLETE DISASTER.

On my first weekend outing (two simple overnights backpacking on designated trails only) the first pair began to fall apart. The stitching along the crotch came undone and traveled the entire gusset of the pant. The interior button (the second-securing-one) came right off (it's not a reinforced button like the main outer one). Upon further inspection (on day ONE) I noticed that literally EVERYWHERE the stitching was coming undone. I was forced to make multiple repairs with textile glue and sewing. I then switched to my backup pair for the next day. And guess what. THE SAME THING HAPPENED AFTER MERE HOURS OF EASY, TRAIL-ONLY WEAR. No scrambling, no climbing, nothing. Mere walking. That's all.

I have also used the 4-way stretch version of these pants. SAME RESULT. So either they are currently made to fail immediately or Bear Grylls doesn't wear anything made after 2011 for these WILL NOT protect you at all in any setting, let alone a SURVIVAL setting.

Thankfully I ordered the first two pair from Amazon and was able to return them within the 30 day window. Amazon was utterly amazing at assisting me, refunding my ENTIRE purchase including shipping. So in essence, DO NOT BUY THESE PANTS. Many Craghopper products are top-notch (such as the Bear Trek Long-sleeved Shirt--literally the best outdoor shirt on the market)

I have many products from Bear Grylls and normally would trust his choices for outerwear but I cannot condone that any individual buys these. They will fail you. And sadly, that might happen when you need them most.

with both types of pants and have ZERO problems with them , they fit well and they stretch well while climbing and even ripped y knee up on a rock face and all it did was scuff the stretch knee panel a bit.

Good pants, very functional, very good in hot weather. Seams good be sewn a little better, but they are holding together well after a trip to Africa walking, on a safari, etc. Will be using them in the mountains back home for sure. They fit true to size in my opinion : size 34 in pretty much all my pants, and a 34 in these worked great.

Do not buy this because it's reflective, it doesn't even have one square inch of reflective material. I'd use the Brooks Nightlife product line, with a nice powerful flashlight running against traffic, if you want truly reflective clothing.

Review of 5.11 #48111 Covert Fleece Jacket

This review is based strictly on this jacket's utility as a article of clothing designed for concealed carry of a firearm.

Before proceeding, it should be noted that I am a police officer with over 20 years of experience. I have tried many methods of carrying concealed pistols over the years. I also own the 5.11 5 in 1 duty jacket as my winter coat while on duty. That jacket also features the back up belt system and it works well for carrying a backup weapon on duty. Thus I thought this fleece might be an excellent option for off duty wear.

Upon receiving this fleece, I immediately noticed how soft and thin the fleece material was, which caused some initial concern about warmth, but more importantly about how well it would conceal a pistol. After a great deal of effort I was finally able to install the Backup Belt System holster from 5.11, which is designed to fit in the outside breast pocket of the fleece. The first pistol I placed in the holster was my Model 38 Smith and Wesson 2 inch barrel revolver. As I feared, the weight of this pistol, which is VERY LIGHT, still caused the jacket to hang down and pulled the entire coat over to the side. Standing right in front of a mirror, I could easily make out the outline of a revolver through the thin fleece material. Turning to the side reveals an abnormally large bulge that extends several inches from the chest. It would clearly catch the attention of any person whose eyes might glance toward your chest. I tried placing a piece of cardboard over the holster to conceal the outline of the pistol, but that just made the appearance that much more odd and noticeable (bulging).

The next pistol was a Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm compact semiautomatic pistol. This is a much heavier pistol and, as one would expect, the bulkiness was substantially worse. There is no way that this pistol could reasonably be carried in this jacket without wearing a shell over it. Even under those circumstances it would be quite uncomfortable to wear with the fleece pulling down.

I am keeping the fleece and will wear a shell over it. As stated above, the only pistol I can carry will be the snub nose revolver. I think with a heavier material fleece, the jacket would conceal the pistol better. I will have to carry something In the other pocket to provide a counter balance for the sake of comfort and appearance. Overall I cannot recommend this fleece as a concealed carry article of clothing.

This is my favorite jacket for those chilly days in the 40s to wear while packing my SR 40 in the front pockets. Little or no marking whatsoever. Not to mention the jacket is very comfortable and suprisingly warm.

Discount Pearl Izumi Men's Fly Intercool Long Sleeve Shirt

I am a fan of Pearl Izumi tops. This one is quite pricey for what you get. It is 100% Polyester, no nylon in it. Pretty standard design with no pockets and zip front. Great for wearing in warm weather for sun protection. But gotta be honest, this shirt should be $40 tops. My biking jersey Attack longsleeve has way more design features and quite a bit less. I am 6'0", 185# and Large is perfect.

I can only say this shirt is as great as Pearl Izumi would want you to believe -it's light weight, comfortable, looks and feels great. The only problem I have is the price. I think it should be 15-20% cheaper than the asking price.

Recently I purchased the PI sun sleeves and elite jersey with IN-R-Cool and was impressed with them and how well they worked as advertised, so I purchased this jersey and was not disappointed. Comfortable, fit well and seems durable. I have used them in 100+ degree humid weather here in NC and they helped keep my body cooler in combination with the other PI garments for 50+ miles. I am sold on this technology and PI as well. I'd rather have just one or 2 of these then a dozen cheaper garments that don't perform as well in the heat.

When I swam in 60-ish degree water a few weeks ago, I felt cold on my head with just a regular silicone swim cap, but I was still able to swim my regular distance. I started to look around for warmer caps and found this product on Amazon. I ordered the thermal version because, well, I bought it to keep me warm, not for style points (which btw I will not be getting with this cap on I look like a duck). It arrived quickly. Size Large does not leave me much room to play with, but it seems to fit fine.

Today (11/2) was a reasonably warm day and I figured I'd try the cap in the water. The pond was much colder, probably in the mid-50ies, certainly not over 60. I use a triathlon long john-type wet suit my shoulders and arms are exposed, and so are my feet and calves. The water temperature was tolerable everywhere but my face. I swam about 50 yards, then turned around. Too cold. I get sinus infections very easily and they can turn nasty. I chickened out.

So I ended up with somewhat mixed feelings about my purchase. It seems that when the water is moderately cold, a regular swim cap will do, and when it is really cold, this cap still does not enable me to swim. The opening for my face is just too wide. It barely covers my receding hair line. It does do a nice job of keeping the back and top of my head warm, but I cannot swim freestyle over a longer distance in water below 60 degrees with my face exposed.

I suppose when swimming long distances (several miles) in moderately cold water, it becomes important to reduce heat loss through the head, and this cap will help. Apparently there isn't really anything out there that helps with the coldness in the face. I will need to toughen up a bit more.

So now, after discussing the purpose of the product, I should actually review it. I already hinted that I find it a bit tight and my head is not very large. If you have a larger head, you will find that the strap under your chin is stretched thin. I like the lining it does not soak up water and feels comfortable. It is a bit expensive in comparison.

As a Steelers fan, I was amused with such an umbrella. The best features: Double canopy, 62 inches wide, its the Pittsburgh Steelers for crying out loud :-), amazing grip, and one time it was raining and a strong wind came in and my umbrella didn't pop out like all my old ones did. might i add while at the bus stop a cute girl asked to stand under my umbrella. she made me feel like a boss. ;-). This umbrella has made my life more cooler and better during rainy, snowy, and haily days (if haily is even a real word that is). the only thing i don't like is that now that i own a big umbrella, i cant fit in my locker at work because of its massive size making it very difficult to keep away from people when i walk away. and i have to leave it out in the open in the break room and my biggest fear is that one of my co-workers may steal it. and also there's no loop or hook on it to hang it up. oh yeah, and also don't bring it on an extremely windy day. my friend also bought this exact umbrella and on a strong windy day, his snapped and broke in a heart beat by the wind. although mines didnt, i decided not to bring mines out on very windy and rainy days. just, "rainy days" in order to be safe. but hey, what do you expect? its a big umbrella. despite all the negative. . . . . What an awesome jacket!!! Way nicer than I even expected. Tailored design creates a flattering figure and still allows for full movement. The polyester outer is soft and strong and so far I have been able to just wipe it clean. I purchased the gypsy/white and LOVE the color, the purple is so vibrant! The powder skirt is a nice touch and works well at keeping the snow out. I have never owned a jacket with inner stretch cuffs before and I don't think I'll ever purchase another one without them, they are so comfortable and again keep all the snow out. Unlike most ladies jackets, the pockets on the Amp jacket are plenty big enough and easy enough to access even with mitts on.

Overall, this jacket gets a 10/10 from me and the piece de resistance is definitely the GORGEOUS color! Please keep this color Spyder!

True to size, fits real nice and is warm. I haven't ski-ed in it yet but I've worn it when it was -8 deg C. I'm 1.52m so I think it may be a tad short for anyone taller than 1.6m.

This is an awesome jacket. It has many extras, like an inside ipod pocket, inside goggle pocket and outside wipe pocket with built in goggle wipe. I have skiied in it in all kinds of conditions and have never been wet or cold. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have any ventilation under arm zips for spring conditions.

Awesome awesome awesome coat. Beautiful color...although sort of a deep purple-y blue. Tons of features, SUPER warm. I wore this coat to a Patriots playoff game in Jan 2013. Winds chills were in the single digits and I was toasty warm. It's not super bulky and has a small amount of stretch in the fabric. So very comfortable. My only complaint, is that it's a little snug. I ordered a size 14 because I have a 36DD chest, and I could have used a bit more room. Regardless. I love the coat and you will too.

Buy Ibex Outdoor Clothing Skimmer Hat

I love this hat. I cut my hair with a one guard, which means 1/8". A light wool hat like this is perfect in the Spring or Autumn chill, in heavily air-conditioned areas in Summer, for sun protection, or for sleeping out doors in moderate temperatures. I even like to sleep with it loosely on my head like a Victorian sleeping cap if it's a bit chilly. I own two of these hats and am strongly considering buying a third.

I do switch to the Meru hat for outdoors in Winter, but the Skimmer is actually still ok when combined with a hood. Fits fine under a motorcycle helmet as well, I actually forgot I had it in there.

My head circumference is 22 1/8", and this hat fits. It's not a tight fit, but not falling off either. I find the Meru to fit pretty tightly when I first get it, and only over time does it stretch to be more comfortable and not leave seam marks. The Skimmer starts perfect though.

I've only washed it with cold water and never dried it other than air dry, about once a month I'd say, and it's not worn, frayed, or changed size. This may be the perfect hat.

I love columbia products and like most I find that their stuff tends to run a little small so I ordered a Large and it fit great and I love running in this top especially when the humidity outside is high and the temp is already 80........that's Texas for you, but it keeps me warm and wicks away the sweat.
