This brace is easily adjustable, provides excellent support, and is comfortable to wear. I can wear it over a t-shirt and under a second shirt to hide it.

I play basketball. In my youth, I played without any protection gear and never had the need. But alas, many years later my body is painfully acknowledging that is no longer as sprightly and quick to recover. After throwing out my back a few months ago from sneezing, (my chiropractor said she's only seen that twice in twenty years), I slowly admitted to myself I needed all the help I could get.

Basketball, one of my first loves, has been abusive for my lower back. The jumping, the stretching, the compression on my back has given me soreness days after an evening of blacktop fun.

I play basketball with this back brace on now and have notice felt no pain afterwards. My back does seem to go back to that misaligned position (when I threw out my back) from swelling but now without the pain. A few nights of sleep with a pillow under my knees and I'm ready to go out and do it all over again.

My physically fit younger brother tells me that a weak back is from having a week core / ab muscles. I'm 30 years old, 5'9.75" 180lbs and not a "gym" guy. This brace will protect me until I can once again have those abs of steel that he gloriously has now and I once had.

The brace is well-made and would highly recommend it. It doesn't work well over pants, but just under your basketball shorts. The narrow front will bunch up uncomfortably over your pants (tried them over jeans at work). The anti-microbial treatment seems to work well against odors.

I bought this item to help my lower back pain while at work. The first couple of weeks this belt did its job. My back pain was reduced to almost nothing. About a month into wearing, the velcro straps all wore down to the point where the straps do not stick anymore which makes this belt useless. I can no longer tighten it which means i no longer have back support. For being this expensive i expected this thing to be pretty rugged and well made. Its not. simple as that. If your made of money, and can buy one every month i recommend. If not, buy something that will last.

has a nice snug feel. great support for lifting firewood. Does not have much "give" so if you don't like having a tight feel you may want to go with one with more elastic.
