The previous incog style had a much sleeker look and fit closer to my head. This hat has a lot of 'extra' material and just kinda floats on my head of which I am not a fan. However, with all the extra space up top there is plenty of room to tuck you hair away.

Love this hat. Warm without being too hot! It covers the ears and keeps the wet snow out when I'm on the slopes. I didn't have any trouble with size of the hat. Very comfortable. Wish there were more colors available.

I bought these to use for a Nike Kinect workout game in my home. I typically bicycle for exercise, but didn't want to deal with a chamois or non-workout shorts that would just fall off. These have a built in brief that wasn't too tight and moves well. I like that I can tighten the waistband. The shorts are soft and stretchy. I'm 5'8" and ~175 lbs. and the XL fit me!

I've only had them a few days, but I'm very impressed. The length comes to about 6cm below the waist, the feel of the material is extremely soft, and it comes out of the wash looking incredible. It is common for me to complain about shirts that are too short, and that only look good for the first wearing because they break down in the wash. These shirts do not have those drawbacks. Also, the colors are really nice (I got the green, orange and light blue colors). They look great for casual wear, but I also exercised in one and the fabric does help stay cool.

The bright yellow makes me a little nervous, but I like these shirts well enough to risk it... maybe.

5.11 #71182 Tactical Polo Short Sleeve Shirt Review

I don't understand why the #### 5.11 insists on naming their polos so that it is impossible to see what material they're made of...this model is the COTTON JERSEY material short-sleeve polo. They have another model that is the KNIT version...this one is the lighter, more comfortable, breathable cotton jersey material though. I'll probably order some more of these later. Wish they made them in more colors than these boring ones.

Speaking of...I wish they would make their long-sleeve cotton jersey polos in white. For some reason, they just cannot seem to make themselves do that. Must be some sort of fashion statement or something else that I don't care about...

We use these for casual uniform wear. There are three mic tabs (shoulders and chest), and two pen holders on the left sleeve. I think they also have UV protection (although not positive).

This shirt is a little on the big side, but it doesn't effect the overall look or feel. It is ultra lightweight and comfortable. It is the first polo I've bought from this line and it is my favorite thusfar. This is my 3rd shirt purchase and will definetly by more. The T Shirt graphic is well made. I wasn't expecting such high quality embroidery. But it is thin (will need a tank under it), and it runs incredibly small. Icebreaker almost hit it out of the park with this one. Lovely draping around the neck and overall great elongating length. My only beef with this shirt is the the hem is almost too rounded, but that is a minor issue. Overall great shirt, I can see that this will get a lot of mileage in the cooler seasons and will work for cooler summer / spring days and nights as well. I love Merino's ability to repel bacteria, allowing you to wear things several times before washing, so it will be great for travel. I am 5'6", 130 lbs and the Medium fit me.

This is a lovely garment, although one aspect of fit should be noted: I have broad shoulders and I find that he width of this boatneck requires me to pin my bra straps. This has a nice fit and a cute color, but the neck is too wide to hide standard bra straps, and I expected it to be a little warmer. A less expensive cotton knit top would have been just as warm. I love icebreaker products (I'm a nomad and travel continuously)and this one is cuter than most. It resists wrinkling and odors and packs up nice and small. I just wish it was a freckle warmer and would hide bra straps.

This appears to be an excellent product. I will update my review as I wear the product at work over the winter. Expect my first update in December.

Here's my review, right out of the box, so to speak:

Pros:

* Thin enough so I won't need to wear pants with a larger waist size;

* Buttons appear to be sound --I've had shirts where I immediately reinforced the buttons;

* Size is what it would be with a shirt --I wear a medium shirt --after one washing in warm, there was a little shrinkage but it was not severe, and;

* Double-stitching, everywhere.

Negatives:

* Flap button at back (dorsal)--one button----easy to open but hard to close;

* No spare buttons

FYI:

1. There are washing instructions inside the left shoulder.

2. I have ironing on two light-duty velcro above and below the flap button to make it easier to close.

After two days use:

This is not adequate protection against the cold for really extreme weather. It works best, I think at temperatures between 60 F and 20 F. You will want the heavy weight Carhartts for those conditions.

My last point is that you will need to stitch in the velcro. I tried ironing one velcro patch and sewed in the other. The glue and ironing did not work.

I work outside for a living in Chicago. I tested out this suit last week when the temperatures started to dip below 30 degrees fahrenheit.

Thermal performance While very comfortable, the suit is only good as a single layer beneath work clothes down to around 30 deg F. The wind cut right through my work pants and through the bottom half of the suit when the temps were in the 20's. The upper half wasn't really a concern as I had a thermal jacket over it. It is described as a midweight thermal suit, not as Extreme, so maybe it wasn't meant for weather this cold. I also own some Carhartt Extreme long underwear that performs better in the cold. It's too bad that Carhartt doesn't seem to make a Union Suit rated for the lower temps. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Comfort I ordered the suit a size too big on purpose, as usually items shrink over time, and loose is better than tight in the cold weather. The suit fits nicely on my 5'9" frame with some comfortable looseness. The sleeves and legs are plenty long. The buttons are easy to undo for when you have to use the bathroom. The tightly woven cotton material is very soft and comfortable. I've washed it once in cool water with no noticeable fading or shrinkage.

Overall A good quality comfortable suit for 30-50 deg F weather. Not good without additional layering below 30 deg F.

The item is as it looks in the picture, only it is made for tall men. My husband is 5'8" and typically wears size large, so that is what I ordered. The legs bunch up a ton, because they are so long, but the rest of the fit was good. I do feel the price I paid was fair, I just wish the legs fit better.

I love this suit! I live in Italy where the buildings are made of poured concrete with little insulation and all my floors are tile. Even though it doesn't get too cold outside, it can feel very cold inside. Since the gas bills here are high, and I earn military wages, I purchased these to wear at home under my clothes to reduce home heating costs. They are very comfortable (a key element to lounging around at home) and warm. They are also built very strong. The only drawback is the flap in back could use another button. Otherwise, these are perfect. I may purchase another to wear when riding my Harley in bad weather. The cuffs at the ankles and wrists are durable. The fabric is warm and soft. The one piece construction means no sagging from the pants or ridng up of the top. Purchase them to fit and you will love them!

This bib short is simply fantastic. The chamois is seamless and provides the best feel of any cycling shorts I've ever owned. The material wicks away moisture nicely and the rather long legs provide decent compression on the entire quad area. From a sizing standpoint I went with the same size I normally get (Medium in my case), unlike the matching jersey which requires a bump up of one or two sizes. Wish these weren't so expensive because I'd love to get another set.

The problem with a white kit is that it is too revealing. I tried it on and while the fit was fine, and the chamois felt great, but everything was totally visible. Men: do not wear white shorts unless you are a bit of an exhibitionist and enjoy people staring at your goods.

Pros:

Roomy pockets for googles, caps, etc

Well protected inner pocket

Decently wind proof

Cons:

Hood is small, so it doesn't fit if you have hair tied up in a bun

The Zipper Blows, it broke the first day I wore this

Zipper stops too far from the bottom, so legs get cold

Sleeves are too long (but cozy)

I wouldn't buy it again, but I'm happy to have it.

Bought as a gift for the swimmer in my house. Sometimes I want to steal it for myself. Nice looking swim coat. Very snuggly/warm but not bulky. He's very happy with it and I'll probably get one for myself this winter.

I didn't realize swim parkas even existed until a few months ago, but once I learned of them I decided one would be the perfect way to get me in and out of the swim rec center fast so I could shower at home and not need to bring all my shower and after-shower products with me.

I decided I needed a size small and at the time, Amazon did not have the red color in a small and so I had to order from another source (Swim Outlet). For reference, I am a large-framed 5'9" woman (I'm jokingly referred to as an Amazon by my husband). The small fits me well with room to spare. I probably could have gone with the extra small, but am fine with the extra roominess. The length goes to my knees when standing which is nice because I have long legs. The sleeves are a little long for me so I do roll them back a little or use the velcro on the cuffs to keep them from overtaking my hands.

I chose this swim parka over others available because:

-the price was better

-it supposedly has a slimmer cut (which I can't really attest to as I've never worn any other swim parka)

-I liked the interior and exterior pockets

-it doesn't have a back slit which I was afraid would expose my legs too much

-I liked that the red color was an option so that I didn't feel like I was wearing a shapeless garbage bag like with the navy or black colors standard with other swim parkas

After reading the reviews about the zipper blow outs on this parka, I was a little apprehensive but decided to buy anyway. I did find that my zipper was a little stiff initially, but being armed with the info from the reviews, I decided to gently work with the zipper before even trying on the parka. I just worked it up and down several times until the zipper started to feel less stiff and more fluid. I'm also careful when zipping up the parka while it's on me, making sure not to pull hard on it or try to force anything. I do have some issues with getting the zipper aligned properly to start zipping it up, but usually it just takes a couple of tries. I find this issue to be common in jackets where the zipper can be used in the normal fashion, but can also be unzipped from the bottom while still fastened at the top; I think that dual action makes it hard to align both sides of the zipper sometimes.

The fleece is very warm. I swim at the outdoor pool in the summer and the parka has been too warm to wear while driving to the pool. There was one afternoon that became very blustery and I finally got to use the parka in all its glory; it was fantastic to just slip it on and be warm and ready to go home. In the spring though going to the indoor pool, the parka was great and I didn't overheat. I'm sure I'll be glad I have it while swimming next winter.

In all, highly recommended. Just make sure to treat the zipper with care and you shouldn't have any problems.

I found this brand a few months ago and I must say that this is the only brand of jocks I will now wear. Great fit and super soft in front. Can run a little small, but still a great brand. The wider band makes me look slimmer in my work out shorts which is not a bad bonus, but I still have to do the work.
