Purchased the "lefty" version of this reel and I am totally satisfied with the quality and function of this reel. This was my first baitcaster and I wanted quality. The Abu Garcia Revo reels are professional grade fishing tools and are as good or better than anything out their. Amazon and its partner offer good prices for these items as well. High points for this reel are the easy brake adjustments, the super powerful drag, they are reasonably light, and, oh yeah, they catch fish. I have since bought more Abu baitcasters including another couple SX's. They are an excellent value.

To begin, my experience prior with casting reels was all on a older Curado Bantam. I lost it in a lake when I was on a kayak and didn't notice that it and my three week old rod had fallen into the water as I paddled out. I purchased this reel after some research and because I had a Abu Garcia spinning reel that I liked. Skip forward. I got the reel and like my Curado I oiled the bearings because it looked a little dry. That was my first mistake. The Revo uses a different system for the cast control which required it to not be oiled much. After some research on forums I took out the pieces and cleaned off excess oil and it worked again. Skip forward. Casting on this reel is super nice. To be fair my Curado was five to six years old and the technology may have been a bit dated. That said the Revo casted nice and smooth and the braking system worked beautifully. There was no overrun and no birds nest even in 10 mph winds. The Revo also is silky smooth when reeling. The Curado always felt a little rough, not bad just not silky smooth. I have also purchased a new Curado 51E and that has the same feel as my previous Curado. It is not bad just a different feel. Abu Garcia seems to have a way of making the reel retrieve silky smooth. My Abu spinning reel is also really smooth which is why I decided to go with a Abu Garcia casting reel. Now that I think about it, the Abu Garcia reels feel like there is a little more weight behind it. Kind of like a flywheel on a car effect. The weight keeps things moving smoothly but without increasing fatigue, maybe reducing it since it takes less effort to crank. That last part is speculation since that just came to me. Overall great reel, I am already thinking about getting a Revo STX since this one is working out so well.

I bought the RH, 6.4:1 model, fulfilled by Shelton's Clothing, who shipped it on time and in good packaging.

This was my first baitcasting reel, although I have used baitcasters a few times. The SX falls in between the STX and the S in the Revo low-profile baitcasters from Abu Garcia. For my needs (primarily pond/lake Largemouth Bass fishing), the SX has the best balance of features/performance vs price. Based on the product image that Amazon is using, I expected a new but older model of the reel. When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is actually the current model (red drag cover, red accented spool, handles and star drag arms bent in towards spool, etc.).

Before using the reel, I carefully disassembled it and checked all the grease and oil points for lubrication. Everything appeared to have been properly lubed at the factory, but I added a few small drops of Quantum Hot Sauce oil to the mechanical brake and the spool bearings, per the manual.

I paired it up with a Abu Garcia Vendetta 6'6" M rod that I purchased elsewhere, and spooled the reel with 12# Trilene Sensation (green).

I've only had the opportunity to cast it about a dozen times so far. After being careful to get the mechanical and magnetic brakes dialed in for the weight of the spinnerbait I was using, it worked great -I was able to cast about 30 yards (not trying to really heave it out there) and using a bit of thumb pressure when needed, I didn't create any "professional overruns". The spinnerbait was pretty heavy, though, so the real test will come when I try casting lures and rigs that are on the lighter side.

Retrieve was smooth, fast, and quiet -the reel feels really solid.

I'll try to post an update after using the reel for a few months, but my first impressions are very positive and I would recommend the Revo SX.

This jacket is what I was looking for something 100% waterproof to keep me dry as I bike to work on rainy days. I wear it over my regular coat, and it keeps the water out. The jacket is long enough that it also covers my rear as I bike. The velcro closures make it easy to do up, but I do feel a bit like I am wearing a large vinyl bag, it's a bit bulky.

I really want to love these gloves. Theyfitwell and were ver comfortable. Loved the little straps on the fingers to aid in pulling them off. however after only three or for 15-20 mile rides the gloves started coming loose at the seams, the little straps started pulling loose and only a few rides later the straps came off..

They did save my hands in a bad fall recently, so am grateful I had them...but am now looking to replace them. Hopefully with something a liitle more sturdy.

A truly comfortable glove. The pads hit all the correct pressure points and the easy pull-off strips are fantastic. Lightweight and the terry cloth at the thumb comes in very handy for warm days.

I have had terrible problems with blisters when I walk. I tried different tennis shoes thinking that was the problem. What I found out was the socks were really the cause of my problems. This is a VERY BASIC visor do not expect it to be stylish. For me, the height of the visor (ie the part above the brim that sits on your forehead) is too tall. I used to have a North Face visor that fit and looked great, but this visor looks silly in comparison. I'll only use it when I'm desperate. Would be better if the visor was a little lower profile.

5.11 #72185 TDU Rapid Assault Long Sleeve Shirt (Multicamo) Review

I am a police officer and routinely wear external body armor for range work and tactical operations. I used to wear my external vext over an ACU blouse, or other similar item. The problem with that is all of the excess material bunches up under the armor. This creates hotspots. It also creates patches of cloth that soak up sweat and make you very uncomfortable. This shirt solves all those problems. The fit was perfect. It was extremely comfortable during a 10 hour day at the range under my vest, where temperatures reached 90 degrees with some high humidity. The fabric under the armor wicked away sweat, and dried fairly quickly after the armor came off. Some people have said the sleeves are big. This cracks me up. This garment is designed for professional war fighters, not airsoft players who want to look good. The sleeves ARE big, but that is by design. This means your range of motion is not limited by the clothing you are wearing. I was a little hesitant about getting the X-Large as sometimes I am between a L or XL. I have a 47-48" chest by most tailor's measurements. This shirt fits perfectly in the XL.

If you are looking for some serious gear, or garment of this kind desing then look no further.

What more could you ask for? I bought this for a 3 week trip through India. Having bought a lot of ExOfficio products for the trip, I can safely say that this in my favorite second only to their underwear. Between this shirt and one other one, I was set for the entire trip. Sleeves roll up and have snaps to hold them.

It has a huge front zip pocket, which is more useful than you'd think. It has a flap that hides the zipper.

It's a good after surf/beach shirt.

It dries very quickly and is reasonably well ventilated.

I have had issues with other ExO shirts discoloring very quickly. This one has not had that issue.

It fits a little big, but it's not as boxy as some of their shirts.

These shirts look quite nice and certainly dry quickly and look neat, however, there are some drawbacks:

Snaps instead of buttons. Snap and tab on the sleeves to hold the rolled up shirt is not necessary and detracts from the appearance.

It does not breathe. At all. Can be like wearing a plastic bag on a warm day.

Tail is cut a bit short, so it is difficult to keep tucked in. Also cut rather wide, so if you are slim, you will have a lot of extra shirt to deal with.

All in all, it is practical for lightweight travel and the nice appearance beats any alternative.

This vest provides good cover while still being light enough to wear on the range in the middle of summer (even here in texas). I still haven't used all of the ample pockets and clips, but it's nice to know they're there should I need them. I wear this when shooting IDPA and find that the material is thick enough to sweep back easily on the draw.

I read the other reviews before buying this and bought a size larger as some of the reviewers stated that it is smaller than actual size... this is not the case. I sent the other one (XL) back and ordered my normal size of Large and it fits perfectly. The vest itself is great... lots of pockets, good quality, and has two pockets for concealled carry (especialy good for me as I am left handed). It has a velcro pocket inside the cc pockets and I'm not sure what it's for should I be looking for a holster to put in there? If anyone knows, please let me know.

Some reviews said that this vest ran small, but the XL & L sure don't.

I wear a L or XL T-shirt, but the XL of this vest is way large!

I had to return it and get the L, which was perfect.

Lots of pockets.

Even though it is made of TacLite, it is a pretty heavy weight material. I don't think I would want anything thicker than this, especially on warm days.

Good length, especially to provide concealment for a holster for IDPA matches.

The vest fits me well. The XL size is a XL for the vest I received. It is well made with re-enforcement at critical points. I have a CCW and the vest conceals my full sized pistol whether I carry it in the inside pocket or wear it to cover a holstered pistol. When worn with a holster there is no printing of the gun. The vest is long enough that it covers the hi-rise holster through normal bending or stretching movements.

I wear a medium, in most shirt even other 5.11 tactical shirts, this is cut like a huge box easily the Medium is the size of a XL. I like the material but the cut is way too big. I'll send it back and shoot for the XS to fit like a medium. I know the fit is different in their pants depending on where they were made, vietnam and cambodia fit way different. My other 5.11 tac shirt is made in bangladesh this one indonesia ...so outsourcing isn't working 5.11 for consistency in sizing.

I am 6'2" and about a 32"-34" waist. I have trouble finding bibs that fit my height, while also fitting my midsection. These seem to fit perfectly. The straps are just the right amount of snug, and the legs grab nicely too. I like the compression fabric instead of the silicone leg-grippers found on other shorts. Hincapie and Castelli seem to be too short in the straps and too big in the waist. These straddle that perfect medium. And the chamois is awesome. Used them on a 60+ mile ride recently and there wasn't a lot of movement, and they were very comfortable. I bought a Large BTW. Never really considered Sugoi, but will definitely buy more of their products.

By far Sugoi's most comfortable bib shorts yet. I didn't realize how much I liked the tighter compression material until I put on my older Sugoi bibs (RS) that just felt loose. Keep in mind, my RS's were my favourite bibs until I got the RSE's. The chamois doesn't move around at all and what originally seemed to be a slightly thinner chamois than the RS's held up just as well, if not better on 3+ hr rides! Overall an amazing set of shorts.

Bought 2 of these in large thinking that they would fit. I'm 6' and 175 lbs but these fit so tight that I couldn't wear them. Yes, they are "compression" shorts but there was no way I could make it through a ride in these. I've ridden in Santini, De Marchi, Castelli, etc. and these have a tighter fit than any of those. I ended up giving them to my son who's a skinny Andy Schleck-type rider and these fit him perfectly. Nicely made with a good chamois but super-tight.
