This is my first Shimano reel, and I plan to use for vertical jigging. I am very happy with the feel of this reel. From my research it is almost identical to the saragosa minus a couple comforts but for less $$.

Have it loaded with 80# power pro moss green with 80# mono leader connected by albright knot.

Purchased the "lefty" version of this reel and I am totally satisfied with the quality and function of this reel. This was my first baitcaster and I wanted quality. The Abu Garcia Revo reels are professional grade fishing tools and are as good or better than anything out their. Amazon and its partner offer good prices for these items as well. High points for this reel are the easy brake adjustments, the super powerful drag, they are reasonably light, and, oh yeah, they catch fish. To begin, my experience prior with casting reels was all on a older Curado Bantam. I lost it in a lake when I was on a kayak and didn't notice that it and my three week old rod had fallen into the water as I paddled out. I purchased this reel after some research and because I had a Abu Garcia spinning reel that I liked. Skip forward. I got the reel and like my Curado I oiled the bearings because it looked a little dry. That was my first mistake. The Revo uses a different system for the cast control which required it to not be oiled much. After some research on forums I took out the pieces and cleaned off excess oil and it worked again. Skip forward. Casting on this reel is super nice. To be fair my Curado was five to six years old and the technology may have been a bit dated. That said the Revo casted nice and smooth and the braking system worked beautifully. There was no overrun and no birds nest even in 10 mph winds. The Revo also is silky smooth when reeling. The Curado always felt a little rough, not bad just not silky smooth. I have also purchased a new Curado 51E and that has the same feel as my previous Curado. It is not bad just a different feel. Abu Garcia seems to have a way of making the reel retrieve silky smooth. My Abu spinning reel is also really smooth which is why I decided to go with a Abu Garcia casting reel. Now that I think about it, the Abu Garcia reels feel like there is a little more weight behind it. Kind of like a flywheel on a car effect. The weight keeps things moving smoothly but without increasing fatigue, maybe reducing it since it takes less effort to crank. That last part is speculation since that just came to me. Overall great reel, I am already thinking about getting a Revo STX since this one is working out so well.

I bought the RH, 6.4:1 model, fulfilled by Shelton's Clothing, who shipped it on time and in good packaging.

This was my first baitcasting reel, although I have used baitcasters a few times. The SX falls in between the STX and the S in the Revo low-profile baitcasters from Abu Garcia. For my needs (primarily pond/lake Largemouth Bass fishing), the SX has the best balance of features/performance vs price. Based on the product image that Amazon is using, I expected a new but older model of the reel. When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is actually the current model (red drag cover, red accented spool, handles and star drag arms bent in towards spool, etc.).

Before using the reel, I carefully disassembled it and checked all the grease and oil points for lubrication. Everything appeared to have been properly lubed at the factory, but I added a few small drops of Quantum Hot Sauce oil to the mechanical brake and the spool bearings, per the manual.

I paired it up with a Abu Garcia Vendetta 6'6" M rod that I purchased elsewhere, and spooled the reel with 12# Trilene Sensation (green).

I've only had the opportunity to cast it about a dozen times so far. After being careful to get the mechanical and magnetic brakes dialed in for the weight of the spinnerbait I was using, it worked great -I was able to cast about 30 yards (not trying to really heave it out there) and using a bit of thumb pressure when needed, I didn't create any "professional overruns". The spinnerbait was pretty heavy, though, so the real test will come when I try casting lures and rigs that are on the lighter side.

Retrieve was smooth, fast, and quiet -the reel feels really solid.

I'll try to post an update after using the reel for a few months, but my first impressions are very positive and I would recommend the Revo SX.

Beautiful! As you might know these sunglasses come in 2 different sizes 50mm and 54mm. I got the 54mm version and it is good for people with wider faces (like me) but it is not huge. The size is just perfect. If you're looking for the 50mm version which would be the "regular" sized version just look for RB4105 50mm. You also have the option of getting the original wayfarer (not foldable) which is identical to this one except for the fact that it does not fold. (for the non-foldable version you have more choices of color though). But I love the fact that I can fold these sunglasses and put them in my shirt pocket. The case is a little smaller than a cigarrete pack. (I have attached some pictures comparing the size of the sunglasses with a few other things such as an iPhone and another pair of RayBan sunglasses (RB3293). It's always better when you buy it directly from Amazon.com. Fast shipping, no hassle returns and great customer service.

I started using Ray-Ban folding wayfarers over 20 years ago and haven't used anything else since. The folding design is great for being able to carry and stash them more easily, and it seems to make the frames less likely to suffer some of the types of damage that glasses with fewer points of flexibility are likely to suffer. The folding design seems to make them fit around a head more comfortably, too. The folding frames are especially great for hiking and backpacking, but they do just fine anywhere else, too. The relatively large lenses are superb for keeping sun, wind, and grit out of your eyes, and they're large enough to protect most peripheral vision. I've used both polarized and regular lenses and like both. Regular lenses are a bit easier to keep clean, but there's no question that polarizing brings out depth, color, and detail in sky, clouds, water, and reflecting surfaces that regular lenses can't. For driving or being around water in sunny conditions, polarized lenses are unbeatable. The pair I ordered came from Sunglass Express: they arrived quickly, in perfect condition, and were a very good price.

These are my favorite pair of ray ban sunglasses! Before purchasing this pair, I tried on the original style wayfarer and the new style wayfarer, but these folding wayfarer fit the best. I felt the OG style wayfarer were too boxy and big on my face as well as much heavier on the face and has a large tilt. The new style wayfarer seemed too small on my face and didn't have that stand out pop as the OG. The folding wayfarer fit perfectly, does not have a large tilt so does not look awkward when you smile with it on, and about 3 times as lighter than the OG while maintaining the classic ray ban look. Also, the fit is a little tighter as it wraps around the head more than the OG and the legs are bit shorter. Hopefully this helps, but the best way to compare is to try on all 3 before buying one.

I should start by saying that in general I do not like the yoga towels with nubs on one side like Yogi Toes, I prefer smooth towels like this one and Jade Yoga's version. This towel needs to be a little damp to be grippy but if you have a sweaty practice, it won't take long and you can always wet it with a little water first by the hands and feet. The other great thing about this towel is that if you do yoga when you travel and end up having to do a little hand washing from time to time, it dries extremely quickly, a couple of hours in a warm place and maybe 3-4 in some place that is not warm. If I needed more towels, I would buy another.

I'm training for another race and have picked up my running workouts weekly, so I needed some singlets I can rotate around.

That being said, I'll wear this oneit provides decent coverage and is comfortable (I appreciate the dry wicking) but I'm not too enamoured by the cut and it's not one I gravitate toward if I have a choice. It rides long which is fine, and the racer back sits in the correct place but the arms seem to be cut really low and it has no tapering in the waist, it's essentially straight which lends toward a boxy cut. It also runs a bit bigger, it's not horrible but it's not my favorite. I'm short and muscular so if you're tall and lean, you may like it... who knows. For me, eh, it's alright, it does it's job but it's not my favorite.

The color is better than pictured: a bright berry/watermelon that is very pretty. I'm pale, and it doesn't wash me out.

However, I liked ASICS' core shimmel better, as the fit was more tailored (though not snug) than this top. The Circuit 7 is slightly boxier, and looser in the armpits/chest. I think it runs a bit larger than other Asics products, as the small was pretty large on me (I'm 5'6 and 118 lbs). Also, this top does not have a shelf bra.

First thing first; these run real small. I bought these to replace the size-large gloves I had been using for a couple of years. I first ordered the large pearl izumis and could barely fit them on my hands. I exchanged them for an XL pair, and if I had had more time before winter crashed down on my land, I would have liked to move up to XXL. I don't consider my hands abnormally large.

They were great for the first couple days of winter. I had been riding gloveless for plenty of ~40' days, so it was great to finally wear these when it hit the thirties. That would be the lowest temperature that they serve any purpose. When a cold snap came in, even riding short distances in single digits caused me to experience some serious pain just minutes into my ride.

Also, I've had them for about a month, and the stitching around the wrist is coming loose.

I would recommend buying something heavier if it actually gets cold where you will be using these--or else buy a pair large enough (read WAY large) that you could fit a liner underneath.

When I swam in 60-ish degree water a few weeks ago, I felt cold on my head with just a regular silicone swim cap, but I was still able to swim my regular distance. I started to look around for warmer caps and found this product on Amazon. I ordered the thermal version because, well, I bought it to keep me warm, not for style points (which btw I will not be getting with this cap on I look like a duck). It arrived quickly. Size Large does not leave me much room to play with, but it seems to fit fine.

Today (11/2) was a reasonably warm day and I figured I'd try the cap in the water. The pond was much colder, probably in the mid-50ies, certainly not over 60. I use a triathlon long john-type wet suit my shoulders and arms are exposed, and so are my feet and calves. The water temperature was tolerable everywhere but my face. I swam about 50 yards, then turned around. Too cold. I get sinus infections very easily and they can turn nasty. I chickened out.

So I ended up with somewhat mixed feelings about my purchase. It seems that when the water is moderately cold, a regular swim cap will do, and when it is really cold, this cap still does not enable me to swim. The opening for my face is just too wide. It barely covers my receding hair line. It does do a nice job of keeping the back and top of my head warm, but I cannot swim freestyle over a longer distance in water below 60 degrees with my face exposed.

I suppose when swimming long distances (several miles) in moderately cold water, it becomes important to reduce heat loss through the head, and this cap will help. Apparently there isn't really anything out there that helps with the coldness in the face. I will need to toughen up a bit more.

So now, after discussing the purpose of the product, I should actually review it. I already hinted that I find it a bit tight and my head is not very large. If you have a larger head, you will find that the strap under your chin is stretched thin. I like the lining it does not soak up water and feels comfortable. It is a bit expensive in comparison.

Fits well and is very comfortable against the skin.

As advertised, it is fairly light weight but also very warm for the weight. It works great for me on bike rides in cold (25 F to 35 F) weather. Even at these temperatures, I can soak a shirt with sweat on a tough climb. This shirt lets the moisture out and provides decent insulation when wet.

The zip works well for me. I can get a little ventilation on climbs and then zip up for the descents. Might be nice if the zip was a couple of inches longer.

What an amazing shirt! I've taken it to all my trips since i bought it. It has become a must in my travel gear. It packs small, fits anywhere, doesn't itch and it keeps the warmth on cold weather. I've tried it on temperatures reaching the 15° F and it has kept me comfortable.

Another thing I liked was the packaging of the shirt, the way it is presented and the factory tracking feature makes it fun and different. I will be buying another icebreaker pretty soon.

I practically live in this shirt year round. I live in Quito, Ecuador where the weather changes constantly between chilly and raining and chilly and sunny, with some just plain sunny moments thrown in. To say I need to layer is an understatement. It is perfect for wearing out in the city and also for active hikes in the mountains. I would be lost without these shirts….. I own three and rotate them around.

I am a woman and, yes, i am wearing a man's shirt. But, I find that being 6'1" and 145 pounds, these men's shirts fit better than the Smartwool Women's version. The cut is very flattering and slimming without looking like it is sausage casing on me, and the arms are actually loooong enough. So, all you tall, athletic ladies out there, you should consider giving these a try.

i didn't have huge expectations for this shirt, since i didn't know too much about the company. i ordered a large, since thats what i normally would wear with other brands. this brand sizes are a little too small, should have gone for the extra large. im 6'2" at around 200 lbs. shirt is short at the sleeves and at the waist. as far as merino wool goes, it does perform as expected. the size experience hasn't soured me with icebreaker, i will purchase more, now that i know the sizes

This was likely my best clothing purchase in years. It was cool enough unzipped to walk in heated stores under a fleece pullover, but warm enough to keep me comfortable in soupy weather up in the hills. The soft hand of the fabric makes every minute it it pleasant. Even after sleeping up in the hills, I didn't stink. Perhaps not the most extensive test of the antimicrobial properties of the fabric, but still suggestive of a rather sanitary garment. When I get a couple more coins to rub together, I figure I will be purchasing more things along these lines.

CEP Women's Compression Run Progressive Sock Reviews

This sock comes in three sizes: 9-12.5", 12,5-15" and 15.25-17.5." I was measured in Fleet Feet where an employee measured the widest part of my calf while I stood straight up, legs relaxed, and facing forward. I bought my first pair in 2010. It's just as good as the two pairs I bought and received through Amazon. CEP hasn't changed its model at all: same seamless construction, same size panels, same fiber content, thread count and proportions as far as I can tell. I wash cold and hang dry. Once washed, the sock resets to its "factory settings" but as I wear them after a hard workout (about 2 hours at a time) they warm and relax, hugging my lower leg without cutting off circulation.

These help prevent shin splints and increase the rate of recovery for my tired calves. I've used them training for a half and full marathon, and right now they're in use for a 2nd sprint triathlon training cycle. I bought 2 more just to have a clean pair immediately ready and for color options. Color doesn't affect the sock: there's no difference in fabric feel or elasticity. If I put on one of my new blues and one from the 3-year-old greens there's no difference between the socks. Even in clothing I've seen differences in fabric based on dye color but not so here. I love these so much I bought a pair for my sister, who is a cardio class teacher at 2 gyms. I had her stand and I measured her with a soft plastic measuring tape. They help her recover from hip hop dance, weight lifting, and step class. I recommend having someone else measure you because your calf shape changes from stooping and measuring yourself, and then your size may not be accurate.

We both still use our foam rollers, tennis balls, and Sticks but the compression socks help recovery along even better. I've tried running in them but I find them constricting and too hot for my taste and prefer to wear them after the run (I wear "invisible" socks normally). I know these are terrifically expensive but I can't praise them enough for their quality, performance and longevity so please be confident and buy a pair. One will do: I had just one for 3 years and it continues to serve me well. I've just purchased 2 more because I'm fortunate enough to be in a position to buy them.

I was confused in the purchasing of these socks because the first item you see on amazon tells you it is a women's compression run sock. When you select it for the cart, it randomly morphs into a men's sock. I took a chance that the error was in saying it was a man's sock and not visa versa. That did not pay off for me. I wrote the company to ask them about it and this was part of their response:

Most of the description errors on amazon are the result of amazon's system. We don't actually have control over the listings amazon does. So we might list the product the right way, and then when another merchant lists it, they change the listing and it changes it for all of the sellers. Then we can't change it back unless we manually contact amazon and they do it. They will only do that if we prove to them that it is incorrect product information by giving them a link to a manufacturers website.

If this is truly amazon's business practice for describing items, it is dumb. Now I have to go through the hassle of sending a return. And find someplace else to purchase the sock.

The XL child will actually fit a S to M adult (woman) depending on your dimensions & bust, I had no problem & I'm not too small(5'6"). It's not bulky but does tend to pill after a few washings despite being turned inside out, never dried & washed in a special lingerie bag. Size 9 of this shoe is slightly more to the 8.5 side of things but work perfect for me. Very light. Very grippy. They're not gonna last forever. Break in time is very short. Slightly flimsy.
