I bought a similar High Sierra rolling bag two years ago. I travel with it at least once per week and it held up pretty good for those two years, but the wheels finally wore out. the fit, feel, comfort of this T is excellent. I have worn and washed it several times and the sweater washes and dries very nicely. I wear it all year round -in winter it gives the base layer warmth I want and the zipper allows me to unzip it if I am too warm. The high neckline is perfect for keeping warmth in if it is chilly. In spring and summer, I sometimes want to walk with my arms covered as sun protection and again the zipper allows me to vent excess body warmth.

I really like this top. The first time I open the package, I was a little disappointed because it is thin and not as fitted as I expected it to be, but when I started using it I realized that it doesn't matter how thin it is because it is really warm. The fitting is also perfect because I can use it as a base layer or on top of another clothing. The zipper front is perfect on my V neck tops. In total I am very happy with this thermal.

I like it very much. I am 5'7" and 140 pounds. I got medium and it fits perfectly. I wish it was longer so I could have wore t with legging. I would not recommend it if you are going to wear it with low rise pants. I wore it with black snow pants and it worked fine.

Very light but not see through and it definitely keeps me warm.

Cheap prAna Men's JD Short

I'm a runner who's recently taken up doing yoga at my local YMCA. I figured that since I had plenty of running shorts and shirts, clothing wouldn't be an issue. Wrong. Since I have a tendency to sweat, typical running t-shirts get wet fast, and there's nothing more unpleasant than a mouthful of wet cotton when doing a downward facing dog. The shirts I've found to be ideal are the subject of another review elsewhere. But I'm here to talk about my prAna JD Shorts.

The first thing I found when trying to find yoga clothes for men is that there just aren't a whole lot of choices. Running shorts are either too baggy or too short, tending toward either more fabric than you want during a particular asana, or a "big reveal" when it's least desired. I found these prAna shorts on Amazon, read the generally positive reviews, and decided to give them a shot.

From the moment I first put them on, I was sold. Although they don't have a drawstring (which, I think, would be a good addition to any 2.0 version), they are very secure. The fabric is wonderfully soft, and just stretchy enough to "give" but not so clingy that nothing is left to the imagination, if you get my meaning. There is no inner liner, so some sort of undergarment is in order; I like a pair of moisture-wicking briefs.

These shorts are the next best thing to performing asanas in the buff, without all the embarrassing public nudity arrests. They are tight enough that nothing gets between you and your poses, yet not so clingy that you feel on-display in mixed company. I love my prAna shorts so much I immediately purchased a second pair. They're comfortable to wear even if you don't do yoga, but if you do, I encourage you to give them a try. You too may fall in love with your shorts. No one else has to know....

I was skeptical at first because they don't have a drawstring and I do Bikram yoga so there is a lot of sweating nvolved.

These shorts actually worked better than the others I have and I will be ordering another pair ASAP.

I purchased these sorts for yoga. They fit well and run fairly true to size. They are not like a lot of athletic gear that often runs small. They are comfortable and don't bunch when doing any type of floor poses. I like these shorts a lot. I do like the Jaco tudo shorts just a bit more though. If you order those, order one size larger.

I have 2 pairs of Prana JD shorts and they have lasted me through 100+ yoga classes; Bikram and Vinyasa. I have a 38 inch waist and the Large fits fine. Another reviewer also said the large fits a 36 inch waist, too.

The product stretches enough to support even my midsection without sliding down. They are snug without being too tight. Allow better flexibility than gym shorts. I highly recommend this product.

The good: they are close-fitting but not spandex-tight. They don't hug the leg. They ride moderately high (2-3 inches below the navel) so a tee shirt stays tucked in, which really matters during inversions and even dogs. The waist band is thick with a mild chevron, 2 inches at the mid point; 1 1/2 inches at the sides--this also helps a tee stay tucked. They also look better with a tucked-in tee. They are comfortable. You can wear them to and from class under your pants.

The less good: They are thin and sheer, and if you are self-conscious about your basket you could feel a little exposed. I wish they they were just a bit thicker, a bit more like sweatshirt material. They aren't the most manly shorts on the rack, if you care. In the end, I found that I didn't--considering the poses you are in, who cares if the bulge is pretty revealing?--but another guy might.

Pants have a thankless job. When they perform admirably, they don't get as much as a thank you... we wad them up and toss them onto a pile of similarly stinking clothes and go on about our day... or when we are traveling, we don't even take them off. I have worn these across two continents, all of the time zones and they have been great. No rips, tears or little strings that slowly unwind the universe. The zippers are strong and function the morning after a bottle of Chianti left me LESS than functional... seriously, they endured "drunk fingers" and that deserves a special place in my laundry hamper. I wore this pair of pants for 2 weeks, hand washing them when I had access to clean water and sucking it up when I didn't. If they made a matching suit jacket with these, I would be all set for life.

Seemed to be a perfectly fine pair of pants and I'd likely have kept them, but the mesh lining on the pockets was a deal-breaker for me. I prefer pockets to have full fabric lining, not mesh. Personal preference, nothing against the product. Was able to return to Amazon for a full refund.

Good quality pants and worth the money. Pants are light weight and first appear low quality. I've used these pants on weekend backpacking trips and they have never let me down. They hold up much better than expected. The light weight material is durable and dries quickly. As for size: I am a 34 waist and ordered the medium and large. The medium fits me OK and is comfortable but is just a bit too tight. I backpacked 15 miles with no complaint. The large is a better match for my 34 waist. My suggestion is that if you are a 32 waist or smaller, go with the medium. If you are a 33 34 go with the large. If you are 35 or larger waist, forget the medium and go with the large for sure. My favorite fitting for my 34 waist is the large. The medium is a tinny bit too snug.

Forget the cheezy belt that comes with the pants. It works, but is just too flimsy and the fastner is difficult. Take the belt off and use your favorite belt instead. The pants are a bit to large at the bottom of the leg for me. It is not a problem, just a bit too big. The plus to this is that you can take the lower leg section off without removing your boots. So I guess I would complain if the legs were any smaller. Overall, I would purchase these pants again without a second thought. In fact, I just ordered another pair.

These pants are great.

Pros:

They are super lightweight; I would say 98% of the stitching is double stitched, they have elastic sides that keep them firm on the body but not tight enough to be uncomfortable comes with a really lightweight belt that is nice as well, the horizontal Velcro strap on the leg cuffs are good for keeping the pant cuff tight to restrict access to bugs such as ticks, also would help if you plan to wear gators, or tuck them in your boots.

Cons:

Like another reviewer mentioned this: ("Vertical side zippers on cuffs allow the leg sections to slip off easily over footwear") isn't true, the cuffs on the legs have a Velcro strap that are horizontal, and not great for allowing a large boot or shoe through. Belt doesn't seem to stay as tight as you pull it, but still does a decent job.

Misc. notes: Zippers are metal; the teeth of the zipper are plastic. Haven't had an issue with them, they seem to work fine.

Over all I would recommend these pants, and plan to buy more myself.

These are an excellent lower-cost alternative to more expensive offerings from North Face, Columbia et al. The pant legs zip on and off relatively easily. The fabric is very light, definitely three season pants. Construction is solid and appears high-quality. I have thick legs, but the "shorts" were perfect, not too tight. My only complaint is that the lower pant legs are a bit too baggy for my tastes, and this is coming from someone with tree trunk legs. In any case it is no impediment to their function on long hikes, which is perfect. If you are in the market for this sort of garment, you should give these a try, especially at this price.

Although called a jacket, this is more like a sweater. The knit fabric is smooth on the outside, fuzzy on the inside -very soft, and warm and light-weight. Fit is good. I wear size 12 and large fits fine. It's been washed a couple times -no problem. I use cold water, gentle soap (not detergent), gentle cycle, hang to dry. And of course, it has the nice feature not getting smelly after one wearing (as synthetics often do). A high quality, useful top.

I am 5'6", 132 lbs, with a flat butt and these pants in a size 8 fit so well. We are in Montana now at Big Sky resort where it can be -10 degrees in the morning and these pants have more insulation than any I have ever owned, yet give such a sleek look. These pants are very light weight and oh-so-silky. They don't feel like normal lycra (the fabric is more supportive feeling and yet slips right through your fingers), and are pretty durable considering their light fabric weight.

Fit: I'm short waisted and have an athletic curvy booty, and these cover everything perfectly without pulling up over my navel. They stay put while running, doing yoga, or boot camp and don't pinch or bind despite feeling fairly supportive. The other colors are nice, too if you want something less dull than black!

I bought these pants for use in Historical European Martial Arts longsword fighting. And the Zoombang padding works fantastic. My first tournament, with only canvas shorts over these I took several hard hits on the leg and hip from wasters. I could feel them, but moments later they were forgotten with nary a bruise, similarly the shirt performed well too. Many hard hits on the shoulder and ribs, all but forgotten a few minutes later. Not so, unfortunately my poor arms, unprotected by the lovely Zoombang, took 2 solid hits and were sore for a good 3 weeks after. :( Need ZB vambraces.

This is a VERY BASIC visor do not expect it to be stylish. For me, the height of the visor (ie the part above the brim that sits on your forehead) is too tall. I used to have a North Face visor that fit and looked great, but this visor looks silly in comparison. I'll only use it when I'm desperate. Would be better if the visor was a little lower profile.
