It has already developed a hole. Don't know whether that was a fluke of whether the product isn't very durable.

Review of CW-X Men's Ventilator Web Tri Top
I bought this to match my CW-X shorts and am somewhat disappointed. The material is very comfortable (no upper body chafing) and wicks moisture very well (I wore it underneath my wetsuit to help in T1 and it was dry in the first .5 mile on the bike), but it runs incredibly small. I'm a bigger guy who has a larger chest to begin with 6'1" 215, 45in chest so I figured I would upsize to an XXL. Even the XXL runs small I felt like I was wearing a medium. I understand these provide compression by nature, but beware I feel it provides an EXTRA level of compression. I would almost rather have something loose like a bike jersey or another run jersey instead of being squeezed next time...

Review of Rawlings Men's 2As4 Protective Shirt
This is a very nice padded shirt, my son uses for both football and lacrosse. I bought both an adult large and an adult medium, my son is 14, but stands 5'11" and weights in at 175lbs, very much tall and lean. Neither of the shirts fit correctly, but I think my son is between sizes, the medium is very snug and the large is almost baggy.
The shirt build quality is very nice, well done.Ordered this to use as a catcher in baseball. Not only has it protected against some nasty foul tips but it does not impede my throw at all

Review of Empire BT Paintball Chest Protector - Olive
Very well constructed shirt with pads that seem to hold-up quite well. My only beef with the shirt is the size. I purchased a S/M, which I assumed would run in between a small and medium, right? Yeah, not so much. It fits more along the lines of an L/XL. I'm 6', 175lbs, and normally rock small to medium t-shirts to have that 'fitted' feeling, but I can swim in this thing. It's wide, and the sleeves hang off the shoulders like a set of football shoulder pads would. I'm not saying it's a deal-breaker, but if you get one, expect to wear some layers underneath to help fill it in.

I used this product in a 3 day paint ball war in the mountains of MT and put it through the paces and it proved out well, protection, staying cool, didn't snag on tree limbs and brush. Very flexible and light. Would recommend it to anyone who participates in this great game of paint ball wars. Thanks for a great piece of armor.Honest reviews on Empire BT Paintball Chest Protector - Olive
I'm a girl and not a very big one.. I'm only 5'1 and about 115lbs. The shirt is just a tad bit big, not a real significance really. If I wore another shirt under it, its perfect. I let my son wear this to test it out while I shot at him and he said he didn't feel any hits. Even though there were several on him. He said even if he felt them, it didn't hurt at all vs. his arms. His arms weren't protected so he felt the difference of the hits. I'd say this shirt passed the test! I bought two. One for him and one for me. We're now ready for our annual company paintball war!Monday, October 27, 2014
Saucony AmpPro2 Recovery Tight Reviews
The fabric is really nice and the fit is snug but...Does it reduce muscle soreness or improve your recovery? I don't believe so. I used it 3 times, even slept with it one night, and I didn't feel any difference in my recovery process. My impression is that it doesn't offer enough compression. You can "feel" the compression in CW-X's or Zoot's recovery tights, but this one doesn't "feel" different from active Lycra underwear that retails for 80% less. I would put this kind of money in others, more technical, recovery tights.

I ordered these tights as a gift for someone who is very fussy. They exceeded expectations the recovery tight material conforms well to the body without restricting movement. The red stripes are cool I had been looking for black and red tights for a while so I was excited to find these. One note order large. I had to send these back and get a larger size even though my friend is very slim he is tall. I never envisioned him as an extra large, but that was the size needed for someone 6'2" and 185 lbs.Best Deals for Saucony AmpPro2 Recovery Tight
I also have skins recovery, and these seem to be much better quality. Also very cool style (which is kind of ironic because you wear them under your clothes).Honest reviews on Saucony AmpPro2 Recovery Tight
I bought this as I like the colors which first got my attention. The fit I must say it very good and the price I thought good although I would have loved to have known that the company is in the United Kingdom where it was shipped from. The price of shipping cost made it so that while I do love the product; to think twice before buying another pair.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Saucony AmpPro2 Recovery Tight
OK, maybe I was expecting too much from this product, maybe not? I purchased them to keep my legs warm in a cold basement while working out, not to run in. The first week using them every other day was good. I was able to move freely and thought I had a good product. Then a small hole appeared in the back-end. Maybe I rubbed the seam too many times with the constant motion of sit-ups. Now, I have to wear a pair of runnng shorts over them if I want to actually use them in public to run or go to the gym. I think they are a good looking product, just wish they would have been more durable. I expected more for the price!Friday, September 26, 2014
Swiftwick Men's One Aspire Socks Review
If you like thin running socks that keep your feet dry, these are for you. I've run in the Thorlo Pads, which I still use on occasion (colder weather) but during warm weather runs the Swiftwick Aspire running sock is the one I always wear!
I highly recommend these socks for anyone who has a problem with their feet sweating. Yes, they are a little pricey but they are worth it to eliminate the blisters.

I have about ten pair of Swiftwick socks. I buy them for cycling, but they are excellent for running, hiking, and just about any athletic activity.Honest reviews on Swiftwick Men's One Aspire Socks
I have had terrible problems with blisters when I walk. I tried different tennis shoes thinking that was the problem. What I found out was the socks were really the cause of my problems. My feet sweat which causes friction ergo blisters. These socks have saved the day for me. They really do wick away the moisture.I highly recommend these socks for anyone who has a problem with their feet sweating. I was getting ready to send back some running shoes when I decided to try them with the Swiftwick Aspire Ones. Bingo! It worked and I haven't looked back. I ALSO BOUGHT A COUPLE PAIR OF "TWOS". I am now a committed Swiftwick Aspire convert. (Walking, running and step-running). I still enjoy Smartwools with my sandals, but for athletic endeavors, Swiftwick.Sunday, September 21, 2014

These booties are my third pair made by Defeet. They always work for days when it's just a little cool (below 58-42 F), below that temperature, coupled with a wind, you may want to consider a boot cover with a thicker barrier. The good thing about these booties, is that you can adjust your shoe buckles over the material that defeet uses. I also chose the Hi-Vis Neon, for safety.Honest reviews on Defeet Slipstream / booties
If your looking for a bootie that won't break the bank, these are the ones. I have found these to be easy to use. They slip on easily and are comfortable. I use them as aero booties, but they could also be used for cool weather. The nice think about these booties is you cut out the sole for your type of cleat. I just recently returned from a week sailing in Florida, and I got to put these rain pants to good use. Our third night on the water, a storm rolled in blowing 30knots with strong driving rain. These pants kept me bone dry. Even better, they dry out really quickly once the rain stops. Be prepared, they run very long. I'm 5'8 165pounds, and I bought the large. I could have probably got the mediums, but I wanted to be able to fit them over long pants in the winter as snow pants as well. They fit fine around the waist over my shorts, but were really long. But a couple of rolls to the legs and they were great. What a bargain!!!!
I have a 36 inseam and a 34 waist. I found these at Dick's and they only had a medium and no large, but I thought I would try on the medium just to get a sense of how they feel. Turns out that they fit almost perfectly! The legs could be slightly longer, but with a 36 inseam I didn't have much hope that they would even be as long as they are.
I wore these over a pair of shorts and I image that they would be tight over a pair of pants. I don't plan to wear them over pants though.
For riding a bike, they have snaps on the bottom to keep them tight and out of the gears.
The material is rubbery like a rain jacket and I don't imagine that they would breathe very well.
I like the fact that they don't have pockets because I carry my wallet and keys etc. in a separate bag so they don't shift around in my pockets when I ride my bike.
So in my one time I like them and they do what I want. If there's an issue with them tearing or something I'll update the review.
I'm somewhere around a 30-32 waist and a 32 length in normal pants. The large I got fit comfortably around the waist (elastic/drawstring provide flexibility), had enough room to wear another pair of flannel-lined jeans underneath, and were long enough to go over the ski boot (but no so long as to be cumbersome).

The problem with these pants is they don't "breath" at all so they trap in all your sweat. Also, after only wearing them for 1 hiking trip, they ripped on the side. Also, they don't have any pockets, which was really a pain.Honest reviews on Helly Hansen Men's Voss Pant
I've been using these pants for a couple of months now on my motorcycle and bicycle and they are absolutely terrific. Sure, they're not breathable and they're a little rubbery feeling, but they are COMPLETELY waterproof, have an adjustable draw string at the waist, and have snap buttons at the bottom for keeping it tight against your pant leg while on the cycle or against your rain boots on the motorcycle. I'm 5'9, 160 lbs and I bought the mediums and they slide happily over whatever I'm wearing without much extra baggyness.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Helly Hansen Men's Voss Pant
Pants are pretty comfortable and didn't have any issues with waterproofing. Bought for ski trip and they served their purpose (of keeping me dry) at the right price. Only complaint would be that the material is very rubbery to the touch; the texture makes the pants feel a bit like rubber diapers. Wasn't a huge issue, just a bit odd.I'm somewhere around a 30-32 waist and a 32 length in normal pants. I really like the Gore Windstopper Arm Warmers, the fit is just right, but be aware the Sizing link on the Amazon site doesn't include arm warmers. I used the one on Gore's site: http://www.goreapparel.com/Sizing-Charts/cs-size,default,pg.html
I normally wear small jerseys, but the chart was borderline for small to medium, so I went up to medium and I'm glad I did. One other thing to note, these arm warmers are definitely right/left "armed". Make sure the logos are facing to the outside of your arms/body and that the "Windstopper" logo is over your elbows. This allows all the seams to line up and give you flexibility were you need it.
They stay in place extremely well, but you can also peal them down from the top, if the temps start to warm up on your ride. I'd definitely recommend these to a friend and buy them again, when the time comes.
Although these warmers are a little thicker (and therefore possibly warmer) than the Pearls, they were a no-go because the wind stopper material is not stretchy when I bent my arms, it was very constricting and uncomfortable in the elbows. This was a problem even though the Pearl's were size XS and the Gore were size med. For this reason, I didn't even ride with them and opted for the Pearl warmers they use windstopper panels interspersed with stretchy thermal fabric to allow comfort in the elbow region.

Purchased this and the Pearl Izumi PRO barrier warmers. I was considering these despite the lack of reviews because I've been so happy with my Gore windstopper skull cap.Although these warmers are a little thicker (and therefore possibly warmer) than the Pearls, they were a no-go because the wind stopper material is not stretchy when I bent my arms, it was very constricting and uncomfortable in the elbows. I got the smalls according to the chart and they are tight, but I guess compression is in right now. I've got small wrists and skinny forearms so no problem there, but my biceps are bigger by comparison and that's where these could be larger. But I'm a freak so no fault of theirs, I still have circulation and they do stop the wind and keep me warm. They were cheaper than Pearl by a long shot so I knew I wasn't getting tailored arm-wear. They do the job, just mind the size if you have normal appendages.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Gore Men's Universal Windstopper Soft Shell Arm Warmers

Usually I get a XXL sweatshirt and it is rather bulky and roomy. Not this one. It is an exact fit and I know when I wear it and eventually get it dirty, it will need to be washed, and will then be too small. This fits me exactly how a typical XL would, so just beware tall people. It is now my girlfriends sweatshirt.Wednesday, June 18, 2014
