I love this shirt. I HATE shirts that have shorter long sleeves, you know....the ones you are constantly pulled down at the cuffs...and these are the opposite. I have some extra material at the cuff. It practically hugs my arms. I like my shirts big and this one is big but the sleeves are great.

It is high quality cotton and a great color (not that nasty ash color that some t shirt makers have).

I plan on buying more colors when I can.

The only semi-negative is that it's not the most flattering for my chest, but I'm bigger up top so I'm okay with that. And, there's a bit of extra give under the arms that adds to the unflattering aspect of it.

Honestly though, it's a great shirt for working out if you're looking for a breezy top that has color and personality!

After several hours of browsing through amazon for capris to use while working out in the gym/running errands in especially with warm summer months approaching, I decided to take a risk and go for this one knowing there were no reviews on the product yet. I received them and put them on right away and fell in love. I'm 5'1, 110 pounds and got them in a size small and they go just a little below my knee which is what I was looking for. I keep seeing the ones that flare out a bit on the bottom and love the fact that these don't flare out at all. I definitely recommend these capri pants because they keep you dry, they fit well, are light weight, are also made of great durable material, and sold here on Amazon at a reasonable price. I will definitely be buying myself another pair soon.

Update 10/20/11I now own 2 pairs. I wish they had more of a selection of colors available but I'm still content with the overall durability & feel of these capris. The first one I bought 4 months back has been through several washes through the delicate cycle in the washing machine and still continues to look and feel brand new.

I'ts not so easy to find great fitting, well made athletic capris for under $50. I purchased a number of brands all more expensive than these and these are my favorite by far! Lightweight but feel sturdy, if that makes sense. They are a snug but comfortable fit and feel great on your skin; soft but hold you in well so you have a nice mix of comfort and support. I like how they are tight all the way down and don't flare at the ends. I am petite and the length is great, for very tall women they might be a bit too short (5'9 or above I would say) For under $20 they are a steal and rival pants over twice the price.

These were snug enough to wear around the house and the gym, but they were not tight. They were ideal to sleep in as well with the extremely hot weather in my area.

For a workout, they quickly wick sweat off the body. The inner thigh area is perfect to prevent chafing. I was able to do a good workout, and put my usual clothing on over this pair so I could go into an air conditioned grocery store without freezing.

I will buy another pair.

These are great athletic capris. They are compression style and extremely comfortable. The price is really good as well and they have held up nicely through several workouts and washes. I don't put these in the dryer as I have learned that the heat can sometimes cause the compression material to give out and become slack. So having never dryed these in the dryer they are still in pristine condition.

I bought these for my little girl who needed red shorts. Red must not be the color of the season because they were really hard to find. These shorts are very baggy and look silly on a little girl. I don't have boys so maybe they fit a boy perfectly. I don't remember seeing in the product description that these were specifically boy shorts. Loved this product the second I had it out of the container. I use it solely for walking at this point, but look forward to incorporating it into my strength and interval workouts as well. Comfortable fit, durable, adjustable weights (which are included!)and a sweet take-no-crap kevlar look. Three small shortcomings to be aware of: I practice bagua circle walking and it's a little difficult to raise my arms directly in front of my body while wearing the vest(overhead pressing is definitely possible, but also a bit unnatural; I've been walking around with half the load (20 lbs) and wearing it high looked sort of ridiculous under a jacket, even boxlike. I alleviated this by loading the weights into the lower containers, thereby giving a more natural appearance. Still, when I've worked up to 40 lbs., the same problem will arise. But hey, I'm seeking excellent conditioning here, not a reproductive partner; there's pretty much no way you could wear this openly in public without giving off the strong odors of swat team/bank robber. Social stigmas aside, this vest satisfies all the needs I had for workouts and will continue to do so for years. It's definitely sturdily made, and the removable loop and velcro waistband could feasibly accommodate many body sizes. What more could I ask for in a piece of exercise equipment?

this weighted vest is no joke. as another reviewer pointed out, there is absolutely no way you can go out in public wearing this item without sparking comments about SWAT team/kevlar vests. for me personally, couple the bada** look of the ZFO vest with the fact that A) i'm a woman and B) i wear it while running, and the hardcase look is complete! this is my second vest the first topped out at 20lbs, and i use this one currently at 32lbs. it has many improvements over my first vest (different brand, completely different style).

figuring out exactly how to put this thing together when it first arrives is a little confusing. it comes in pieces. there are no directions in the box, and the website leaves one with more questions than answers. just youtube it: there are a couple of easy-to-follow vids out in the interwebz made by users. once you put it together and fit it properly, this monster hugs you tight (double abdomen straps? sweet!) and forces you to have excellent posture (bonus!). having the flexibility to make minute adjustments to the straps is fantastic.

like other weight vests, folks, this one will give you fatigue in your shoulders. please stop complaining about it and accept it as part of the training -it simply goes with the territory, kids.

for running, this vest allows for free and easy arm movement.

my only real complaint is the chafing. to be absolutely fair, as i already mentioned i am a woman (seems like this bad boy is used mostly by fellas). i am physically fit, but i have an ample bosom. to date i have not figured out a way to adjust both straps properly so that either one or the other is not chafing me somewhere across my front. since this does not seem to be a complaint by other users, i am going to chalk it up to my own physical attributes and will continue to try and figure out a good balance.

My story I usually don't write reviews but I noticed a lot of reviews for vests are negative for some of the shorter and smaller people like myself, so I decided to write this review to let those people know that this is the vest for them and most likely anyone. Due to the expensive nature of gyms (and weights in general)and wanting to go for a more "natural" workout, my routine consisted of non-weight workouts(push ups, pull ups, squats, dips, step ups, etc.) exclusively. After a few years I found that I had hit a wall with the amount of reps for any given workout to the point where it just felt like cardio despite some high numbers. Not wanting to abandon my routines (nor a large sum of money from my wallet) I decided to go for something that would add some more resistance to my workouts and therefore a few more pounds in muscle mass to my body. I originally thought about getting the 60 lbs vest but I had to remind myself that 40 lbs is 1/3 my current weight and should be more than enough for my workouts in the long run. So far this was a good decision.

Results This weighted vest was the perfect investment. Even after a few weeks of only 15 lbs added I have noticed some wicked results without changing anything to my current routine but wearing this vest over my shirt. My pushup reps dropped from 70 to about 20 with just an extra 15 lbs. My front palm pullup reps dropped from 20 to 8. My wide arm front palm pullups dropped from 10 to 2! I look forward to pushing myself in the near future all the way up to 40 pounds while maintaining 20+ reps on all of my workouts. It feels good to feel sore after my workouts again!

Comfort I am a fairly small person (120 lbs and and 5'6") and this vest can fit pretty snug and flush if adjusted properly. The bottom of the vest is maybe an inch below my belly button no sack tapping here!(which was a major complaint in other vest reviews for shorter people). The vest stays close to my chest and stomach despite my my tiny waist (I can fit in size 26 pants). I can do pushups, and all my leg workouts mentioned earlier, with no issues at all. The only workout that can be slightly bothersome is close-armed forward palm pullups. the shoulder part is a little wide so for a small person like me raising my arms straight up with those big shoulders can be slightly uncomfortable but certainly not workout-breaking and probably not an issue for anyone bigger than me. I didn't really experience shoulder/neck pain (other than the kind that builds up those muscles) but I can imagine running in it for over 30 mins with 20+ lbs would do the trick (even a small backpack will cause some discomfort if worn for a long time though).

Straps Yes the straps will befuddle you at first but once you figure it out it is common sense. I noticed a lot of people saying you might need help putting it on each time but that's not true. You can velcro it in the back first so the length dangles at your sides. You then put the vest over your head then wrap the velcro that is dangling at your side around the front and velcro it there to finish the seal. When you go to take it off just undo the velcro in the front and pull it over your head. No need to ever un-velcro the back or re velcro it again. If your really pushing the weight and worried about possibly dropping it on your neck while taking it off just undo the shoulder velcros and waist ones while laying down and then just let it slide off you.

Quality This thing is made nice, like really nice. I expect it to last a really long time. And like everyone else mentioned, it looks pretty awesome.

Overall 100% recommend it for the "smaller" crowd but I imagine this would be a great product for anyone, any size, looking to add some resistance to their workouts for a good price.

Got my vest on time on 2/28/2011, started with 10lbs and have worked up to 20lbs in just 2 weeks. I ran my usual 4 to 5 miles without the vest just today, and I killed it! My running has improved so much, I run much faster and I am lighter on my feet. This is awesome to do push ups in and abs. I think this is an amazing product and pretty much been suggesting it to all my rugby teammates. I totally recommend this product if you want to get a harder workout and/or lose weight.

I was at first somewhat concerned about buying these pants on Amazon, as I have never owned tactical pants and decided to try my jean size and return them if they did not fit, but these pants fit me perfectly. They have good pockets too, as unlike cargo pants they aren't just hanging off the pants. This helps to make the pants look more professional.

Also, I really like the belt loop setup. They have more belt loops than jeans have and some are longer, making these pants perfect for carrying a holstered pistol. My full-size .45 Glock would hang when worn on jeans, making it hard to place in and take out of the holster. These pants allow me to carry it with a normal belt and it is locked in place very well.

I definitely recommend these pants to anyone working security, law enforcement, or just wanting comfortable, professional-looking work/cargo pants.

I'm not in law enforcement. I'm not a contractor. I'm not in the military. But my profession as a photographer puts me in situations where I have to dress like i'm being deployed to Afghanistan. Lenses, batteries, flashcards, flashes, remotes, multitools, flashlights, greycards, light meters, sync cords, measuring tape, are just some of the items that I need to keep on my person, and be able to access quickly and easily. I usually carry a bag with several compartments, but when it's hot, and i have to move around a ton, i prefer these pants. There is a pocket for everything with these suckers! Best feature, are the back pockets. I can fit a 200mm zoom lens and flash adapter in ONE back pocket! Second best feature, the knife pocket, roomy enough for a multitool and a streamlight stylus flashlight. And last, the clip on the beltloop, perfect for clipping my flash meter on, or a second body in a carrying case.

Even loaded to the rafters, these pants are comfortable, cool, and let you maneuver nicely. I'd order a size bigger than you wear in jeans, even with the elastic, these are sized more like dress-slacks. Fit is great, length is perfect. You don't have to be a SWAT team banging down a door, or a military paratrooper to get full use out of these pants. When I'm not working in them, I'm using them for a long Motorcycle trip (the pockets are great for biker stuffs and cool in hot weather riding), or on a camping trip, where they withstand a beating but always come clean.

I have some knock-offs, but the 5.11 are definitely worth the extra money.

These "tactical pants" are in cargo pants style with the hint of a military or police legacy, and a relaxed-fit slightly tapered leg that allows unrestricted ease of movement. The product photos accurately depict the style. They are well-made, (the four pairs I own are variously marked made in Bangladesh, Cambodia and Vietnam) of light to medium weight rip-stop 65% polyester/35% cotton fabric which appears adequately durable, is very comfortable to wear, and stays fairly smooth after washing.

A further advantage of the polyester/cotton blend fabric is that it is less prone than many 100% cotton materials to color fading, or to loss of color dye along pocket, cuff, collar and seam edges, after repeated wear and washing. This is most noticeable in dark colors. The black fabric used by 5.11 stays black longer than any of the very comfortable, but easily faded black full cotton pants and shirts I have owned.

The design and construction are good quality, appearing fit for general casual wear, active sports, or light duty workwear. The Modesto CA based manufacturer's website has an interesting explanation of the origin of their brand name, 5.11. It derives from "5.11" a rock climbing difficulty classification in the Yosemite Decimal System of grading walks, hikes and climbs, which I read elsewhere stems from a difficulty grading methodology developed by the Sierra Club from the 1930s. 5.11 is or was officially defined in the Yosemite Decimal System as, "After thorough inspection, you conclude this move is obviously impossible; however, occasionally someone actually accomplishes it." It makes sense, looking at this garment, that the manufacturers say their original tactical pants were developed for rock climbing yet they look stylish enough for general informal wear.

Most leg seams are double stitched; knees are double-thickness. The crotch has a large diamond-shape gusset, seeming well designed to reduce potential for active wear to burst seam stitching.

There are eight pockets:

* Left and right slanted open top front pockets;

* Left and right slanted Velcro tab-closed back pockets;

* Left and right flap-top Velcro-closed large outer thigh cargo pockets;

* One left-side small flap-top Velcro-closed bellows pocket suitable for pistol magazine, cell phone or other such items; and

* One right-side open-top small pocket the manufacturer describes as a knife pocket. Handy storage for a medium-sized folding knife or a pen.

The fly closure is a smooth-working brass zipper. The seven belt loops are wide and well reinforced. The waistband is elasticized at the sides.

One of the most notable aspects of this product for my requirements is that it is offered in longer than regular leg lengths. My 36x36 size is hard to find in men's casual pants or jeans typically 36-inch waist pants come only in a 34-inch inner leg measurement. The range of fractional-fitting sizes offered in these pants is exceptional: waist sizes from 28 to 44 inches, with inner leg lengths from 30 to 36 inches.

Initially I bought two pairs, one khaki and one black. The price (only $49.45 for khaki and $45.87 for the black when purchased from Amazon) is exceptionally good value for money for such well-made garments.

I would certainly buy this style again, or other similar pants from the same 5.11 brand. I really cannot find a fault with the garment design, quality or price, so I have to give it a full five stars. The TDU khaki (a versatile light tan color rather than traditional military khaki) version of these 5.11 pants came to be my favorite during a trip through Europe in the 2012 summer heat. They were lightweight enough to be most comfortable in the heat, to be easily packed, and also to dry quickly after laundering. I ordered another two pairs of the TDU khaki pants from Amazon when I got home.

These pants are comfortable and look good with matching colors of 5.11's nylon webbing TDU 1.5 or 1.75-inch belts, and with any colors of 5.11's several styles of shirts, such as the excellent 5.11 #72175 TacLite Professional Long Sleeve Shirt and 5.11 #72157 Cotton Tactical Long Sleeve Shirt. 5.11 nylon webbing belts are especially well-suited to sports and travel wear with these pants because of their comfort, light weight, washability and black plastic friction buckle. Honest reviews on 5.11 #74273 Men's TacLite Pro Pant

This is my fourth pair of the TacLite Pro pants from 5.11. Previously I ordered 34x34, which is what I wear in jeans. The 34x34 from 5.11 fit really well, but when I sit down the legs tend to ride very high, exposing 4-5" above my shoes. This time I ordered the TacLite Pro in the color black but I ordered a 34x36 to rectify this problem.

However this particular pair (marked 34x36 both on the tag and inside the label) are way too tight around the waist. It's not even close. With my other three pair I can carry an IWB stuffed with a .45 cal, but I can barely get this particular pair to button.

I'm not sure if it's a one time sizing error, or if I should try to reorder in a 36x36. The previous colors I ordered were Navy, Khaki, and Coyote. I will update this review once I reorder to see if the Black color is indeed running small in the waist, or if was just a fluke.

Otherwise, these are excellent pants. Very comfortable, highly functional, and holds everything you'd need and more.

I am currently in Afghanistan where it gets 100 plus degrees for about 4 months out of the year. I bought these after reading some of the other reviews stating they breathed well and were cooler than cotton pants. After stepping outside and noting the temperature was 105 it didn't take long for the sweat to start rolling down my legs. I have some cheap cotton work pants from a previous employer that breathe better than these. Besides the heat issue, they pants are very comfortable and seem very durable. I climb up and down helicopters all day and they are not restriting the least bit. The pockets are an A+ in my book. I bought the same size that I wear in regular jeans which is a 34x32 and they fit very well. All in all they are a great pair of pants but I believe I will put them away until cooler weather hits!
