Port Authority Men's Big Lightweight Polo Sport Shirt Review
What do you get an old guy who has simple tastes and buys everything he needs. A top like this that is light weight & has a great color!!!! My dad is grey, so wearing a bright blue top looks fantastic on the old boy. ;-)

Best Minus33 Merino Wool Low Rise Trail Sock Deals
Great socks for daily hikes, warm, padding on the bottom, and they breath (unlike polyester stuff). These socks could also double as work socks. Already a fan of Minus33 products, there were no surprises with this transaction. Shipping was very fast. johnb

I get compliments on this at the the yoga studio all of the time. It is very sturdy yet pliable and very roomy. Love prAna.
With all this in it, it is NOT too heavy or awkward to carry. I'm 5' tall, petite person and find it very easy to carry on my shoulder. I have the orange color, very pretty. This is cotton canvas, machine washable, but will not be waterproof.

Love this yoga bag! I didn't want one of those bags where the yoga mat lays across the top of the bag (you have to remove everytime you want to get something else out)....I also didn't want one that you have to bungee cord to the bottom of the bag-those break easy and don't hold some of the heavier mats. This is perfect! It holds: my Manduka Prolite mat, 2 yoga blocks, yoga strap, yoga towel, water bottle, wallet, sunglasses, xtra tshirt/shorts and easily zips up. There is one inner pocket. On the outside is a Velcro pocket that holds my cellphone (SG4) and car keys. With all this in it, it is NOT too heavy or awkward to carry. I am in love with this bag. Big enough for my manduka mat, towel, flip flops and yoga pants. Outside pocket perfect for phone and keys. And besides the design on the fabric is so pretty. Just love it! Well worth 80 bucks in my opinionFriday, August 29, 2014

Your endurance and enjoyment of cycling or running isn't purely a matter of conditioning and mental toughness; the more you can do to make yourself comfortable without it infringing on your performance, the better, faster, and longer you will be able to go in endurance sports.
I had a chronic case of heat rash and chaffing 'down there' for about two decades until I started using Friction Zone. I did try other creams and such, but none worked so well as Friction Zone on the rash resulting from the heat and moisture of long days on the saddle or running, as well as the chaffing and itching that would result.
Friction Zone is both slippery and tacky enough to prevent these maladies as well as stay on all day with a single application. It also smells rather nice and keeps your privates from stinking like a third armpit--after all, you can't put antiperspirant 'down there' (and yes, I did actually try that--trust me on this one).
Also note that Friction Zone will not damage or stain your clothing, and comes out completely in the laundry.
DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME: Some things that didn't work in my experience for comparison:
Talc/baby powder and the like is OK as a deodorant and to keep you comfortable in your summer clothing, but during sports it's really useless;
Aveeno moisturizer is a good treatment for chaffing, but again not something that's useful when you're active (not slippery enough and has no protective function for your skin with regard to friction);
Jock itch powder/cream is completely useless because the problem is not a fungal infection--it's the moisture followed by dried out, flaky skin. Jock itch powder/cream can actually make the problem worse in my experience;
Other chamois creams and lotions meant to treat what is essentially diaper rash didn't do a damn thing except stain my expensive cycling clothes and clog up the wicking function of performance fabrics;
KY Jelly, I did not try, but don't imagine it would stay on long enough for an all day effort and would need to be reapplied.
APPLICATION and TIPS: You don't need to put gobs of this stuff on for it to work properly. In fact you just want a thin layer right where saddle and rider interact with each other. For you guys I recommend you also spread some futher up, to the left and right of your 'ball and cannon,' your 'Jolly Rodger and crew,' your 'One Eyed Jack and . . .' you get the idea. It's also good--and this note is particularly for women--wherever you may have straps and seems rubbing your skin (such as your sports bra, panty line, or a heart rate monitor strap).
Give the container a bit of a shake before you squeeze some out because the ingredients may have separated a bit. And when you sqeeze a dab out it should only be the size of an U.S. nickel.
Apply with only one hand--especially if you're married--because you need the other hand to be free to turn on the faucet and dispense soap without getting sticky/slippery goo all over everything.
Spread it on, wash your hands, put on your sports clothes and ride or run.
CAVEATS: Don't apply this to places that you don't want to be friction free, such as your feet and hands. Even if you're experiencing chaffing in these areas, you don't want to be struggling to keep your hands in place and putting more effort than necessary into running or pedalling because your slipping around in your gloves and shoes.
Though this stuff works great for treating skin overall, Aveeno moisturizer works just as well chaffing and heat rash when you're not in the middle of doing sports. Brave Soldier antiseptic first aid cream also works great on rashes and abrasions.
BOTTOM LINE: This is great stuff for preventing and treating rash and chaffing while doing sports, and need only be applied once for an entire day--even if you're doing a century ride or marathon. A little definitely goes a long way.
Also, by increasing your comfort during sports you're also improving your endurance. Forget ergonomic everything (they're just a gimmick and actually diminish performance in my experience), 'comfort saddles,' gel seat covers and the like. The more you ride or run, the more accustomed your body will be to that activity. On the bike, your butt muscles will get stronger and it will no longer feel like you're sitting on a brick; and new runners will feel better and better as they continue to run season after season and get the right clothing and equipment.
Especially with regard to so-called 'comfort saddles' I have to say I find them the opposite, because the cushy padding causes the saddle to cut off my surface circulation and that results in pain and cramping like sitting in a bad movie theatre seat for a couple of hours.
It's better to get the right cycling/running shorts and apply this cream than to go out and spend silly amounts of money on technical solutions that avid athetes don't actually use.
Brave Soldier makes great stuff, and I'll be using it as long as they keep making it. And thank goodness Amazon now sells this with free super saver shipping besides.

As a triathlete and aspiring distance runner, and as a woman who weighs north of 200 lbs. and has had thunderthighs since early adolescence, chafe is a serious issue for me. I've been using Bodyglide, which is fine, but when you have to stop every 4 miles to reapply, it loses its charm rapidly. The first time I used Brave Soldier Friction Zone was like a revelation. I'd say it was like a choir of angels came to sing about how my thighs weren't chafing, except for the part where I never even realized until I got home. There was no heated inner-thigh reminder of impending doom, no stopping to reapply, no insistent need to yank my shorts back into place every five minutes -it was just running for 6, or 8, or 9 miles. I don't even fear a half marathon now. I don't know how I made it as long as I did before discovering this stuff. This is what I use when I'm waging war against chafe... and I intend to win.Best Deals for Brave Soldier Friction Zone
I thought I could use this product to reduce friction between my biking shorts and my glans. I did not know this product contained menthol. A very unpleasant experience when I applied it. It probably works ok for use between the legs and the bike shorts, but I did not use it for that after the first application.:(
Honest reviews on Brave Soldier Friction Zone
I know most people here will be looking at this from an athletic perspective, but I used this on a month long trip to Europe to prevent chaffing between my legs. At first, i thought it was like putting some grease on my legs, but this stuff is very vey slick and slippery after it's applied. I forgot to apply it for several days, and after just a few hours of walking around, boy did I notice! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that after a few months (perhaps with temperature changes), some of the goop comes out with small lumps. After you rub it in it still works amazing, it just feels really odd. Nothing that would prevent me from buying it again! Great product overall.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Brave Soldier Friction Zone
For the serious roadie, the answer to stopping saddle sores. I've progressed from Chamois Butter, to Assos Chamois Creme (still great for shorter distances), to Brave Soldier Friction Zone. Friction Zone, combined with starting clean and shedding the bibs or shorts immediately after finishing your ride is the best I've found for all out efforts and distances on the road. I use it on epic dirt rides, too. The best.Thursday, August 21, 2014

They worked great my boys loved them. They kept their hands warm and dry just as advertised. It was a cold and rainy 3 day scout camp. The temperature got to 26 degrees F, with rain and sleet. We just had tents and campfires. The boys were 8 and 5 y.o. and generally had no problems putting them on. When they did of course I was right there to assist. I was afraid they'd end up loosing them, but fortunately they're still around for use this winter. Excellent quality and durability. Better than the ones I have for sure!

I thought these gloves were excellent quality gloves for the price, but the sizing that is described in the description is not accurate at all. I bought the size that they told me to get for my 5 year old daughter and these gloves will just barly fit my 8 year old nephew. So the quality of the product is excellent hence the 4 star rating however they really need to work on better describing the szing chart or find children with more normal size hands. I tried these gloves on 4 different 5 year old kids and they do not fit any of them but are labeled for a 5-6 year old child. Just keep this in mind when thinking about this product. Good product but need to watch the sizing.Best Deals for Gordini Kids' Aquabloc II Glove

For a sweatshirt it is very thin, definitely not for use in very cold weather. Not sure if its worth the money.my boyfriend loves this zip up hoodie! it's lightweight and soft. he is a football fanatic and has tons of nfl gear but this hoodie is uniquely designed, the logos are distressed and retro looking. This one is definitely his favorite! I'm glad I ordered one size larger, he's 6' 220 with a muscular build, I ordered an xxl and it fits him comfortably, not too tight and not too loose. Will definitely be buying more in other teams!

Buy Blackhawk Men's Performance Cotton Pant
I have been a long time fan of BLACKHAWK tactical gear in general and find their apparel to be the best around for general and heavy purpose use. Design has always been ergonomic and sensible. Quality from the cut to the seams is high with attention to detail, stress points reinforced and pleanty of room for bending, squatting, stretching and twisting without binding or restricting movement. Durability has been proven again and again as I have tortured the shirts, pants, boots and socks under some very austeer and extremely rough conditions. In summation the BLACKHAWK Men's Performance Cotton Pant are the best (tactical) pant for general and heavy purpose non-combat duty. (I go ITS for the risky stuff ;) They are practical, comfortable, tough and a great deal for the price. I highly recommend this product.
The silicone band inside the waistband is a good feature. It does keep my undershirt from pulling out as described in the product features.
The "magazine" pockets on each leg are not quite functional as magazine pockets for full size magazines. A 10-round double stack .45 barely fits. The bottom of the pockets are not gusseted, and the resulting taper makes it a very tight fit. I already have a hole wearing in the pocket bottom where the feed lip for the magazine rubs. Also, the tight fit has caused the top flap to break loose on the hook-and-loop fastener. I almost lost a loaded magazine. Not good. The pocket is just big enough for an iPhone 4, but only if it is not in a case. I use a "LifeProof" brand waterproof case that adds about ½" height to the phone and I cannot close the top flap to secure it. The last problem with this pocket it is positioned directly over the normal front pocket. When something is already in the front pocket, such as a wallet or hand, it serves to make whatever is in the magazine pocket really stick out. – In comparison to the 5.11 pants, this mag pocket is much worse, but there are two of them as a consolation. BlackHawk needs to shift them down and in slightly, make them about ½" deeper and add bottom gusset.
The "magazine" loops in the thigh pockets are also not well suited for magazines. While standing, the mags do stay vertically oriented. When running, the mags bounce and move too much. When seated, the mags can slip right out. Again, not good. The loops are OK for keeping small lightweight items in place, such as a small coil of paracord, Pepper spray, key(s), pens, etc.
The string attachment loop is just regular braided string, like boot laces. I suspect it will fray and break in time.
The extra zipper pockets are a nice feature if you have additional low profile items to carry. They have a mesh liner to the other pockets they are part of.
I won't be buying more of these unless BlackHawk makes some improvements to the magazine pockets. I like to carry my spare mag there, but it is not secure with this design.
While all pants fit somewhat differently, the waist is definitely tighter than the advertised circumferences. However, the waistband is adjustable, and seems to stretch considerably wider than the listed size. The legs of the pants are definitely baggier than what would be expected from others, but not so much so that they don't fit correctly. From other reviews it seems like people with more solid body types may enjoy these pants more, as opposed to people who are very skinny or gangly. The black color is of a nice shade, but be warned that these pants seem to be lint attractors. I'm expecting this to change as the pants are washed more and worn in, but it's worth mentioning.
So far I'd definitely recommend these pants. They seem to be very well constructed, the quality of the material is great, and they're very comfortable while still retaining a lot of their utility and being appropriate for wearing in the office.
Not for summer uses...hot. Good for fall or winter. Like them very much.

I decided to ask for a pair of these pants for Christmas after purchasing a pair of the more lightweight nylon ones for a trip to a tropical country. So far I'm absolutely loving them. They're conservative enough that I can actually wear them in the office, and despite the tactical style nobody has said anything to me about their looking different from more traditional khakis. While all pants fit somewhat differently, the waist is definitely tighter than the advertised circumferences. I've had these about a month and am more than satisfied. The fit in the waist (32) is perfect, only stlightly too short in the length (32). They're very solidly made with good, heavy cotton. They have lots of well-designed pockets that accoodate lots of things, along with a belt loop for keys or whatever and a concealed elastic band in the waist. Very comfortable if a bit heavy (good mateial, extra features). I've now sent off for another pair in another color.Thursday, July 17, 2014

Reviews of Woolrich Men's Elite Tactical Vest
I purchased the vest for use on an overnight train trip to Florida, so I could easily carry a variety of valuable items on me when moving around the train for dinner or whatever, rather than leaving them unsecured at my seat. It was a great success, and was so comfortable that I ended up wearing the vest almost every day at the vacation destination. Even after returning home, I found myself putting it on each morning. Having separate places for wallet, keys, iPod, ticket envelopes, a newspaper, cell phone, and scads more items frees the hands and puts an end to bulging pockets. By taking care of things that might otherwise be clipped to my belt, the vest even succeeds in reducing my GNS score [Geek-Nerd Scale].
The vest is canvas and feels strong and secure. It has some heft to it, but the weight never got to be a problem. Well, that is, except for when I tried using the water bottle pockets.
And unless you've got it really packed with things, you can easily slip on a jacket over the vest either for warmth or to dress up a little.
I'm happy with the Woolrich vest and very glad to have it.
I ask for return but the seller did not set up a form in Amazone website, they send email to you with RMA # then you have to make label by yourself .
The seller did not pay shipping cost to me, I had to pay $12.00 UPS to send this vest back for return.
I am not happy with this seller customer services.

Local store selling these (not this brand) for 3 times the price. Will be buying for our whole travel soccer team this fall. Great product and delivered next day! It's a light windbreaker, looks nice, sized right, priced right. Great for a cool day. If you have to go to any ballgames outside, this would be a great jacket to keep in the trunk.

prAna Men's Stretch 34-Inch Inseam Zion Pant Review
I have finally found them. For a reasonable price, these are without a doubt the most perfect pair of pants for all-around use I've ever bought. Period.
-W/ a pair of dress shoes & a blazer to the office. Look slick.
-Comfortable sitting at desk. Perfect conform, perfect stretch.
-Ideal when you get up to do stretching & calisthenic breaks.
-Good to the gym if you forgot your gym clothes.
-Great in bad weather. Just out in the snowstorm. Shed water like a duck, windbreak well.
-Warm enough for hard snow; W/ a baselayer, no problem.
-Light enough for hot sun? Def... I can tell b/c they breathe like a dream. Will update after Florida.
-Tough enough for the trail? They claim to be, sure feels like it. Like a thin version of Rhinohide or Moleskin, but stretchy & hydrophobic.
-Cargo pocket for a few extras; sleek & minimalist, but roomy w/ a very clever zipper design.
-Deep pockets, great seamwork, great darting, everything just FITS. Form-fitting but relaxed & very flexible.
-Built-in cinch-belt. & Addt'l belt loops of course.
-Tiny cuff holds for wading!? Sure why not.
-Wrinkle-resistant.
-Thin & easy to pack.
-Lightweight but cozy; cool when I need cool, warm when I need warm.
-Soft inside of fabric, I could wear these to sleep.
So that's it guys, these pants literally do everything, have everything, can be anything pants-related. And probably a lot beyond that.
Wear as PJs, run on the beach, make a tactical insertion, practice your ballet, go to a board meeting, ski a quick run, wrestle a bear, show up at your buddy's wedding on time.
I've seen a couple other pants that could make the same claim, but they are so high-priced it's offensive. These are a great deal.
They're the pantsing-est pants I've ever found, esp. for the money. I'll def. be buying a couple more pair.
Nice and lightgreat for tropics.
Smart causal looking good for office wear, and at the same time relaxed enough for outings. I wear it for my jungle treks (with the roll ups)
Water resistantI was caught in a light rain and with my rain jacket and hat I was nice and dry)
Breathes well too.
Quick dry and no need for ironing. I hang it to drip dry in the night in a slow tropical breeze and its dry by morning.
Stretchyfreedom of movement at all times. No more hiking up the pant legs to squat down. Lovely. I use it even for the gym workouts after office.
Negative
Clings a bit too tightly around my thighs.
Bit of bunching around the crotch.
Wallets placed in pockets create a distinct bulge. Everyone will know which pocket is your handphone in. The material fits so snug, they can even tell the model.
I dont put anything in my pocketsit makes me look like I have grown a tumour (esp the back pockets!)
Advice:
Great for travel wear in the tropics. Formal enough for restaurants, and a quick roll up on the pant legs will create a more casual and relaxed look on the beach.
Very comfortable.
I bought a couple of other sets.
Highly Recommended.
I am a 33W and the M fits fine.
Pros
------
1. Extremely Stretchable for maximum mobility. (tested during
2. Incredible Quick Dry capability. Wash it in the night leave it out to air. By morning its closed to bone dry (this is tested in Krabi, Thailand)
3. The buttons holding the slacks on the quarts are great. it didnt pop out during my climbs.
4. Big improvements on the waist buckle. I owned 3 other stretch zion pants from passed seasons and they are a hassle to use and breaks off after a while. this one is plastic and its easy to tighten.
Cons
-------
1. Compare to passed seasons, this one only have one cargo pocket on the left. others have one on each side

Best Deals for prAna Men's Stretch 34-Inch Inseam Zion Pant
inseams vary from product to product. I must admit that I did not break out out the fabric tape and measure the inseam, but they werent long enough. Sometimes a 34 inseam is enough, sometimes its not. It all depends on the brand and cut The purpose of this review is to let you know that if you are very tall, and sometimes can pull off a 34 inseam, these WILL be too short.Honest reviews on prAna Men's Stretch 34-Inch Inseam Zion Pant
The prAna stretch pants are very comfortable and a bit dressier (in my opinion) than a pair of jeans. I will be ordering more in the future.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for prAna Men's Stretch 34-Inch Inseam Zion Pant
This is the fourth pair I owned and I used it mainly for climbing. I fell in love with the Stretch Zion Fabric. As the name goes, it really offers the stretch especially when having big range of body movements during a big climb.Pros

Reviews of NFL Women's Champion Swagger IV V-Neck T-Shirt
My wife loved it... I gave it to her for her B-Day when the Broncos slapped Philly around 52-20. She loves it!My wife had been trying to buy this shirt for weeks at the start of the football season, but every one was out every time she clicked on a site. It looks like every web site gets them through the NFL shop. I found this on for her, but it was listed as a men's shirt in the title. We looked long enough to know this had to be a women's shirt, so she bought it. The inside label calls it a womens NFL shirt. It was the exact same shirt. She is Very Happy with the purchase. Go Saints!
