I ordered this because when I ride as a passenger on the trike my ankles to my knees are always cold. I have not tried them out yet. I have tried them on and I believe that they and going to be just what I wanted. They are soft, the Velcro seems to be very good. They arrived quicker than the original delivery date. I was surprised after I ordered them and they gave me a date weeks away. I then noticed that they are shipped from overseas. I would caution anyone expecting them quickly to be aware it does take a few weeks to get them. I do believe that they are worth the wait. I will be trying them out in a couple of weeks.

I hunt religiously, and during the off-season I am planting, planning and/or maintaining our land and hunting environment. Whenever I go into the field, I always wear fresh clothing washed in UV free detergent and dried with these HS Scents Dirt Scent dryer sheets, and then place clean fresh clothes in a scent-proof bag/container. It gives me an edge against the Whitetail with its unmatched sense of smell. I swear by these and will not go without. I have considered the fact that a synthetic "dirt" scent may not be precise to any specific area depending on the human variable of how we don't always get things right, and also the environment I'm hunting, however, even if it doesn't 'fool' them into believing that 'dirt just walked by', it does provide enough "cover" to mask the true identity of the intruder *me*. Best thing on the hunting accessories market to date!

I actually use these in a slightly unconventional way. I put a sheet in a big plastic tub that I keep all of my hunting gear in for storage in between hunts. When you open the lid, all you can smell is fresh dirt!! Ive never had a problem with scent and deer hunting (compound bow) and have had countless sightings. Would highly recommend!

It is pretty much a fact of life that small pebbles are incredibly irritating when they unerringly find their way into your running shoes. Many developed trails use this stone and by and large it is great to run on, but not when it gets between your feet and the shoes. I had considered getting some gaiters for a long time, but never pulled the trigger until buying the large/x-large set of these.

On the plus side, they work well. I have size 12 extra wide shoes and these gaiters are a snug fit, but they do fit. The snugness actually seems to provide some additional support to my generally weak ankles. It's tight fitting over toes putting them on, but not too bad. The straps that go under the shoe are equally tight fitting, but the quality of the product seems to indicate that they do not suffer when stretched to put on. And most importantly no nasty pebbles in my shoes.

The downs side is just really me and being lazy, I would love to just throw on my shorts, a tee and run. But no, I have this whole freaking getup that I have to deal with, what with between the bluetooth heart strap, the bluetooth headphones and the blaze orange whatnot I wear to avoid being shot or run over. Not to mention the accoutrements for my running companion, a beagle/shepherd mix. So, this is just another thing to put on, but I will, because they work and are worth it.

I bought these for my first mud race (just a little 5K, not TM). They did a great job of keeping rocks, twigs, etc. out of my shoes. I wore tall socks, so no issue with rubbing either. They weren't uncomfortably tight and I didn't notice them at all when running, climbing, etc. Great product for the price.

Excellent garment and fits perfect (size L, and I'm 5.9 feet tall). It is the perfect combination with the Asics Fujitrail Racer shoes, specially if you run on wet or rocky ground. The Fujitrail series is the best for trail running.

On the other hand, the product was delivered before date offered. That's why Amazon is really awesome!!!

This gaiter ripped on the first trip. Amazon refunded the purchase and I then made the mistake of ordering Liberty Mountain Ankle Gaiter. The zipper on those gaiters is too fragile and broke after about 8 hikes. I am gaiterless at the moment.

Reviews of Pearl Izumi Pro Softshell WxB Mtb Shoe Cover

I live in Arizona but it does get cold here in the northern part of the state. I've used a couple of different booties and my feet have always gotten uncomfortably cold/frozen on those morning rides when the mercury gets south of 40 degrees. I decided to take a chance on these shoe covers and save the 120+ dollars compared to the price of dedicated winter shoes.

I have used these on two rides so far. Both with temperatures in the low 20s. One ride was almost four hours, the other was 1.5. The long ride was primarily slow speed riding on very technical terrain with some hike-a-bike and go back and try it again "sessions". So while the temperature was low (16 degrees and snowing at the start) there was little issue with wind and lots of opportunities to get the blood in the feet flowing by walking. My feet stayed comfortably warm the entire time. The 2nd ride was more cross country fast (more windchill) and on the bike the entire time. On that ride my feet did get chilly by the end, but were NOWHERE near the uncomfortable blocks of ice they usually become. My feet were warmer at 20 degrees than they had ever been at much higher temps with other booties.

A size large slid very easily over my size 43 mtb shoes. Secures with velcro instead of a zipper. The high ankle provides okay coverage if you splash through a water crossing, but are not sealed at the top in any way. Seem durable granite boulders tried to rip them a few times with no luck. Any cover feels bulky to some extent, but these are light and I didn't give them another thought after a few pedal revolutions. There is a little strap at the front that hooks under the shoe to help keep the cover down over your toes.

I'm glad I found these for $80, but would buy again at full retail price if I needed to. Recommended. Particularly if your really cold season is short and not too brutal. Why spend $200+ on winter shoes when you can get these?

meaning what i ordered was not what i received, at least appearance-wise. the large gray areas are actually a cadmium yellow, a deep yellow, with the small patches across the shoulders being the sole gray parts. so a brilliant, blaring, siren-yellow, 1/2 zipper, long-sleeve shirt showed up, and i love it. the fit is perfect, the weight is good, it wicks and dissipates moisture, and it keeps body heat in 30 degree temperatures (and up to 50). i also have a sugoi carbon 1/2 zipper, and it is a great shirt for winter running, but it is carbon black, which isn't cool if you're out running unfamiliar trails in appalachia georgia or north carolina during (or near) hunting season, or running a high traffic area in early morning. the visibility of this shirt is a definite plus in my book, and i saved twenty dollars buying this particular shirt over the other swatches. buy one and do a long run.

The shirt is nice like most of Sugoi's running clothing, but the picture is inaccurate. The picture shows small areas of yellow on a black long sleeve shirt. The real shirt is mainly yellow with small areas of dark grey.

It is okay and not worth the hassle to return, but i would have preferred the shirt as pictured.

These are attractive and light weight; however, I'm not sure my fingers have ever been colder! I wore them to a 10K today and it was 38F at the start. Once I finally got the blood flowing out to my hands and feet again, my hands warmed up, but that was after about 3 to 4 miles.

The good news is that because they are lightweight and thin, they easily fit in my jacket when I warmed up enough to take them off.

These gloves are thin and just aren't thermal. They might be fine inside of a pair of Mittens, but on their own, my fingers turn into icicles when the temperature drops below 60 degrees.
