I have a shaved head, so I take my hats seriously. With that, this hat is quite soft and has a substantial thickness. I expected it to be a bit more slouchy, but that's ok. Nice hat!

I'm a girl and bought this hat anyway because I like the colors and though it looked comfortable, and I was right! It kept my head and ears warm and looked nice, and I love that it's Dakine. However, I wore it backpacking for hours at a time and eventually it would start to itch my forehead, which was very irritating. I had to start wearing a band under it to protect my skin. I really wish this had a felt lining. I may try to sew one on myself, but if it doesn't work, I'll get another one because itching so much makes it not functional.
