I bought this for my almost 4year old. He likes it and it has a wide brim. I bought the small which barely fit. There is a size guide which came with the hat and says small is ages 1-3, medium is 3 -6, so I am exchanging it.

The chin strap is removable and even in the 2 seconds he tried it on, my son removed it a few times.

I like that it will be cool in the heat as opposed to the heavy cotton bucket hats for kids.

bought this after losing an awesome REI hat we had for about a year. this one looked the closest in pics. very difficult to find a lightweight, sun hat in November. even in san diego, CA. this is great. good size brim. nice that it is adjustable. i got the large for my large-headed 3 yo (he's the size of a 4-5 year old). it has a little room to grow and i can tighten it to keep it on. he still needs the chin strap at this age but doesn't like it tightened to the chin. it's pretty neutral. i got the sandstone color which fortunately wasn't as light in color as it looked on-line. very satisfied. hoping we don't lose it, contemplating getting a back up in case.

Cheap Pearl iZUMi Men's Pro Softshell Bib Tight

Some have purchased these tights for use as rain paints and as has been noted, they are not seam sealed and have stretch fabric inserts that are not waterproof. You'll get wet in a downpour or steady rain. That's a fact (I have 3 pair).

So, why buy them? I own a pair of Pearl Izumi PRO Barrier WxB pants (fully seam sealed) that are wonderful for those days when the sky lets loose and water is running down the gutters. But for the hilly 20 mile daily commute that I ride in Seattle, water proof (albeit "breathable") pants can be a little too hot and sweaty when the temperatures are between 36 and 50 degrees and it's drizzling or sprinkling (which makes up a lot of winter days in the NW), the PRO Softshell tights are perfect for me. They don't have a fleece backing so if you need a warm tight for cold (freezing and below), breezy, drizzly rides, try the PI Elite AmFib tights as they have a light fleece lining and the AmFib fabric is highly water resistant, reasonably breathable and has good stretch.

I use the AmFib tights on the days when the temperature drops to freezing and below. But they're too warm and bulky for warmer temps (as you get closer to 40 degrees). The customer service rep at Pearl Izumi says PI recommends the PI Elite AmFib tights for cold weather rides and the PRO Softshell tights for high output (tempo) rides where water resistance/breathability, low bulk and high flexibility are more desirable than a warmer, water resistant/breathable tight. If water resistance isn't as critical, then the PI Elite Thermal tights are recommended (these have softshell panels on the sections of the front, knees and legs).

It seems a bit silly to purchase 3 pair of expensive tights that, for my needs, are most effective in a relatively narrow temperature/precipitation band. However, in Seattle, a lot of winter rides (whether commuting, training or riding for fitness) fit within the vector of drizzly, cold and breezy weather. They've become my "go to" tight. The WxB pants are still used but only when it's pouring buckets. Since purchasing one pair of the PRO Softshell Bib tights with padded seat last year, I've purchased another pair of bibs AND the non-bib PRO Softshell tight (only available w/o padding). Why? Well, as the days are transitioning into Spring, I wear the non-padded Softshell tights over my regular cycling shorts into work, then put the tights in my pack and wear the shorts with leg warmers for the return trip home.

Regarding fit: the tights are not skin-tight. They're patterned to fit the rider in the cycling position. Knees are articulated and legs have enough length for the range of motion from extended to bent. As a result, when you're standing upright (not on the bike), the knees look a little baggy and legs too long. But, the tights don't feel restrictive at all. This is a happy combination of good design and fabric "ease".

"Don't Forget to Shake": there's a gusset on the front for "rest stops". Highly convenient and effective. The message on the inside of the gusset is "reader-side up" and says it all.

If you use shoe covers, please note that they will NOT fit under the tight's legs as the tights have stirrups which will prevent the legs from fitting over the covers. There are also no leg zips. Rain pants, on the other hand, will usually zip or slide over shoe covers (thus preventing water leaking under the tops of the shoe covers and into the socks and shoes).

These aren't cheap (and I'm not wealthy) and fit a relatively narrow band of use. But, they've proven to be highly versatile and fill a big gap in my winter riding gear. Note: the PRO Softshell Tights are no longer in the current PI line-up.

Extremely disappointing. The material for much of the legs is waterproof but the construction is not the seams are just stitched and leak like crazy and the area behind the knees and the color panels along the thighs are not waterproof material so they leak instantly in heavy rain. The material is backed by a mesh rather than fleece so always feels kind of cold and clammy. Fit and design are very nice. Bottom line ok for road spray and very light rain but fails pretty quickly in light rain. PS since they do not breathe they get very hot above 50' but since not lined are not warm enough below 35' so pretty narrow comfort range as well.

This bib is great for morning rides when the temp reaches 40s. I find it to fit true to size. I weigh 135lbs and measure 5'7".

Pros

-The fit is good

-Warm by itself but very warm with other layers

-The white bibs actually clean up well

-Super comfortable and quality materials on par with other Izumi products

Cons

-While riding in any position the suspenders for the bibs will be slack

-The legs are quite long and give you plenty of slack at the knees

-Temperatures below 35-40 degrees Farenheit, the bibs aren't enough to keep you warm

The deal breaker....

The metal brackets for the suspenders broke. The right shoulder bracket broke while dressing. I checked the left shoulder and the bracket looks strained and weak. The left shoulder broke later on.

If you plan for the brackets breaking and have materials ready, these are a grat set of bibs. Again, I want to love these bibs but I can't

Sent the bibs in and Pearl upheld their replacement warranty. The brackets were replaced with some heavy gauge metal brackets. Beefy! Love the bibs!

The sizing is strange in the mid-section. I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and thought I was so clever to sneak into his closet and see what size bib-tights he wears. Unfortunately, these fit great around his legs, but when he got into position he could barely breathe.

I got these gloves, and there is a piece of rubber on the fingers that was peeling up, not a big deal, but i still called Pearl Izumi directly, and literally, 2 minutes later, they are sending another pair. So nice to have a company stand by their product like this. The gloves came on time, they fit. I started a new job that required gloves so I purchased and used these for about two weeks, I noticed that I was getting really dirty at my new position. Then one day I looked at everyone else and I was the only one with little black spots on my light blue shirt. I finally figured out it was the gloves when I took a new blue shirt that was pressed and clean, I put my gloves on the shirt and swiped down..... little black spots, like the gloves were shedding. I was so upset, I went and bought those cheap 20 dollar Nike gloves instead and never looked back. I'll keep these but only if I lose my current gloves.

Best Deals for ASICS Men's Flash Running Shoe

I normally buy ASICS GEL-1170s or Gt-2170s and wear an 8 1/2 comfortably with thick cushion socks. This pair was a tiny bit smaller but I was able to wear them with ASICS Cushion Low Cut Socks to work out in the summer heat and they fit great with these thiner socks so just keep that in mind, maybe buy a 1/2 size larger than normal.

Other than that they are very comfortable for casual wear and lifting weights at the gym. I love the look and feel. Have been a loyal ASICS wearer for 6 years and even though I try other brands to keep an open mind I always end up buying ASICS. I have narrow feet and plantar fasciitis and this company makes my active life possible without pain! I would recommend ASICS shoes to anyone.

I've had these shoes for a few weeks now and wear them as my primary shoes for after work and weekends. They're fantastic. They seem to have a little extra room width wise in the toe area and are very cushy yet supportive in the arch area. They do have a larger than normal tongue that reminds me of the skater shoes I used to wear as a teenager. So if you're not a larger tongue person you might want to steer clear. However, I'm a big fan.

I'll be watching for them to go on sale to get another pair to be ready to replace them when these get aged. This review is under my wife's account but I'm actually a 6'5" 280 lb man and I'm reviewing the size 14 black with silver and light blue version of these Asics Men's Flash Running Shoes. =)

These shorts seem well made and durable. They are not as baggy or long as some other bike shorts, mountain bike shorts in particular. The medium size fits me well, is comfortable, and the length goes down to just above the knee on me (5'8", 150 lb, 32-33 waist). I wear them for road and light off road riding (example: the Forbidden Drive in Philadelphia's Wissahickon Valley Trail System), but not for single track riding on more technical trails through forest or brush where I want longer length for greater leg protection.

The shorts come with a liner/chamois that is attached to the inside of the shorts by two narrow strips of material. I prefer separate, non-attached liners, but this is a minor issue and the liner could be easily separated by cutting the strips without damaging shorts or liner. The chamois is good quality and provides comfort on long rides. The shorts have good ventilation and are fairly light weight, all good features for summer riding.

Adjusting the waist fit is easy with the BOA knobs, one on either side. I had never seen these on shorts or pants, but they have worked very well for several months of riding. Hopefully, they will be durable and not malfunction with much longer use.

These shorts look great, are well made and comfortable. You could wear them for other activities without the chamois liner (one reason I prefer separate liners, the other being interchangeability with other shorts).

One other issue is the price. This is one of Sugoi's top of the line biking shorts with quality materials, good fit, good looks, and those cool BOA adjusters, all reflected in the greater cost. If you will be riding road or wider off road trails, I can recommend these high quality shorts, although many less expensive quality options are clearly available. If your riding is more technical or where contact with branches or bushes is going to be likely, I would recommend a longer, below-the-knee short. Bottom line: I like them a lot expensive but comfortable to ride in and great looking.

I've used these spikes for a season now and can attest to the quality they provide. I've used them for short sprints and long sprints up to the 400m, long jump, 110 high hurdles, and even distance races up to 1500m.

They have a very comfortable sock like fit and provide great heel support for the longer races and the jumps. They are perfect for the Multi-Event athlete looking for a multi-purpose spike or a beginner level track and field athlete who needs a versatile spike capable of use for several events.

I would not recommend them for racing the short sprints though, they make a great training spike for short sprints, however the forefoot plate is not very rigid or aggressive in its angle and will not help you push off your toes for the short sprints (200m and under).

Still a great pair of track spikes I would recommend them. Comfortable, versatile, and supportive.
