I am 5'5" female, not a kid but have bought boys jackets before. I read that this brand runs a bit large and I was looking for an affordable ski jacket for a trip over Easter. Worked great and was very warm. It's a bit roomy, but was perfect for the cold mountain air. It's definitely not a flattering ski jacket for a 28 year old woman, but it'll keep you toasty.

I just received the women's XL in the mail and they are huge! Made for a size 16+ I would say. I usually wear a 12-14 (more like 14 in snowpants) and these were like 3-4 inches off my waist. Nice quality but was not what I was looking for so just returned them. Also no adjustable waist so I would not make them smaller.

I really like the color, fit and material of these pants but they run long and I am 5'8". I considered hemming them shorter myself but decided it would ruin the cut of the leg and be too much trouble so I returned them.

I needed a late season last minute ski pant for snow shoeing and these were perfect. They sit high on the waist and there is enough room in the seat and legs for movement, but not baggy. I wear a size 10 in jeans so the Large was a perfect fit. Note they do run a bit long, I'm 5'8" and even on me they were about 1" too long. They kept me warm, dry and well ventilated.

This is the first summer (2011) I have ridden my motorcycle, I got my endorsement in March (2011). Because I started ridding in March I bought very warm gloves. I replaced them with these, and I couldn't be happier. The leather and the fabric is thick where it needs to be and thin where in should be. The thin fabric and the perforated leather allows the gloves to breath very well.

I have now had the gloves for three summers (2011, 2012 & 2013 5,000 miles combined) and they are still working great. There has been almost no wear on them and none of the sewing has come undone. However, just recently the glue holding the rubber triangle on my left pointer finger has started to let go. This is a piece on the very end of the finger and is flexed when ever you use the clutch, so I see why after 5,000 miles it is starting to have issues. From my experience, these are very high quality gloves.

I bought a large glove and it fits great. The dimensions on my gloves are: 9 1/2in. from the middle finger to the bottom of the glove. The distance across the knuckles is 4 3/4in. I cannot speak to the dimension of the other sizes.

My only complaints are that sometimes the palm fabric can bunch up under the fingers and there is no protection for my thumbs.

I purchased these based on good reviews I have seen in the past. My experience however has been rather disappointing. The gloves have seen light duty but seem to be coming apart at the seams. Lots of loose threads. The hard knuckles are seperating. The color is fading. The dye stains my hands when there is the slightest trace of moisture. I might expect these problems for a discount glove but considering the premium price they are a huge disappointment.

First let me begin by saying that the Fox Head Bomber gloves DO look very "cool" in real life. There was _nothing_ disappointing about the style or fit of these gloves. If you just want some nice-looking gloves, and are not actually worried about getting your hands ripped up, by all means, do go ahead and order.

My only problem, (and it's a major one), is about the quality of the stitching on the gloves themselves. FOX is well-known for making solid gear, but these gloves are *definitely* not up to par with their other products. The stitching that holds the leather together is of a low quality and is already beginning to come loose and fray, 4 days after I started wearing them. Some of the stitching that holds the Poly-Carb in place on the knuckles and fingers was even visibly loose upon delivery. Finally, the stitching that holds the Velcro wrist closure together is mis-stitched by almost 1/8 of an inch on the pair I received, making it very awkward to undo the strap once both gloves are on.

If I actually made serious contact with something that my knuckles needed protection from, these gloves would not be very helpful. It doesn't matter how strong the Poly-Carb over the knuckles is, because the knuckle plate will likely rip off and leave my knuckles exposed after the very first instant of contact. The stitching is simply too weak to offer any real protection.

Its like the plates of a bulletproof vest being held together with material that has the strength of a wet paper napkin. Or tank armor that's stuck on with wads of chewing gum. Or putting an airbag in a car that's made out of thin brittle glass. The protection it is "supposed" to offer is really for appearances only, and should definitely NOT be trusted.

...but hey, at least the gloves look cool.

I was skeptical at first, but everything else has failed me. Sweatbands always got soaked and squeezed my head just a little too tightly. I finally decided it was time to try one of these. This is, hands down, the best headband I have ever used. The tie version lets me get it to just the right tension without squeezing my brain.

It's kind of gross to admit, but I haven't washed my headband yet. I have only rinsed it with warm water and let it air dry. So far, no smell at all after about a dozen uses. I ordered 3 more so I don't just abuse the one I have.

I have about 4 of these headbands and use them for cycling in the hot Texas summer. They do the job well and the silicone strip helps direct the sweat away from your eyes. They dry much more quickly than terry or cotton.

As an avid trail runner and road cyclist (I know, weird combo), this has got to be one of my favorite pieces of inexpensive gear. I am a very heavy sweater, and have always had to deal with stinging eyes from sweat running down my face. Since wearing this, I have had no issues whatsoever...and on the days that I have forgotten to wear it, I notice a BIG difference. Plus you can look like a ninja while you're running or cycling the first couple of times running with it, my buddy told me he was afraid I was going to kick him in the face! The purpose of this band is not to make you stop sweating! The sweat still has to go somewhere, this helps to make sure that place is not in your eyes! It will also not take care of sweat that originates ON YOUR FACE. Seems people like to give bad reviews for things that an item is not designed to do. I sweat enough that I find that the sweat makes its way to the back tie offs and drips off the back, which actually feels pretty good as it has cooled by the time it gets there. I wear it under my helmet for cycling and under my beanie for winter running to help with absorption (I will admit that I wear a beanie with a ponytail hole for the ties of the headband to go through:)) I just leave it tied at the right size so I just throw it on for runs, and rinse it out and air dry it after a workout.

I use this for spinning, and I'm a heavy sweater. This headband does not prevent sweat from pouring down my face, I don't think that's been invented yet. However, I've noticed a considerable decrease in the amount of sweat running down my face during class. I've also worn it during Kettlebell class and since that room tends to have better ventilation and we break during every set, it's help hold a lot of the perspiration back. I love that its adjustable, and I've had two other Halo headbands (same model) that have held up for 2 years. Washable and the colors don't run.

I found out about the Halo headband on KK's cool tool blog. These headbands are great for keeping the sweat out of your eyes. That's what they do. I use mine for jogging and cutting the grass. I used to constantly wipe my eyes with my shirt now I don't. my eyes would burn from sweat now they don't. That's what the Halo does. They make a tie-on version and a standard pullover version. I prefer the tie on version after trying both, but that's just me. They are great for tennis, hiking, or any other sweaty endeavor.

I'm writing this review and pasting it under the other Hunters Spec. Tek 4 clothing items I purchased this season. The clothing is comfortable and feels almost like silk. I'm gonna have to repeat everything I did this opening season because I shot my first deer in a spot I had been hunting for 3 years now. I had the boxers, under shirt, under pants, hat and mask all under my normal gear. I'm not going to give the clothes ALL the credit but they had to have helped and felt good, too. I'm going to be more than happy to buy another set to have a backup. P.S. I'm not sharing this secret with the other members in my hunt club, lol

Buy Ibex Men's Woolie Zip T-Neck Tee

I do a lot of outdoor activities, winter sports and cold-weather camping, so I purchased this Ibex 150 weight Woolie Zip-T to wear as a base layer, and to compare the comfort and effectiveness of merino wool with that of a silk and of a polypropylene base-layer (both of which I own and have used extensively).

I have found the smooth merino fabric very comfortable to wear next to my skin, and while I initially considered the material a bit thin when worn with just a vest on a cool day, once I added a shirt I was very comfortable (by itself, the light-weight 150 merino material doesn't do much to stop the chilling effects of a breeze so in cool or cold weather you definately need to wear someting over it), and after I reduced my outdoor activity level this merino wool base-layer remained very comfortable throughout the day (unlike polypropylene which can get and remain a bit sticky). Being able to zip this base-layer either open and closed, is also a definite plus for maintaining comfort.

Extended wear: I wore this article on mid-December campout for three days with a sweater as a midlayer and a fleece jacket as an outer layer and was very comfortable throughout that time (temperature in the 30's Fahrenheit during the day)... and although I could have changed into a spare that I had in my pack it wasnt necessary. Since that time, I have also worn this as a base along with a mid-layer vest and light shell top while cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing with the temperature in the mid-20s and have been very pleased with its comfort-performance.

Temperature range: While I was very comfortable wearing this under a sweater and fleece (no coat) during 25-30 degree weather on the recent campout and subsequent winter sport activities, I think that I would have to beef this article up with a second intermediate base-layer for colder weather... or perhaps try the 220 weight ibex base which I have not yet purchased.

I've also worn this article under a shirt for casual wear and it proved very comfortable both inside and out. The zipper top makes it very easy to regulate temperature level.

Laundering: The merino top has been easy to launder (I use Woolite on gentle cycle in the washing machine, and after the spin cycle, dry it flat on a dry towel ... it dries in about 5-6 hours although I expected it would dry a bit quicker). I've washed this item once by hand and three times in the washing machine... both ways work fine.

Would I buy this article again? Yes, I like the woolies 150 weight Zip-T enough that I have recently purchased a second one along with the bottoms. While they definitely provide a very comfortable base layer (and I'm able to remain comfortable even after several days of outdoor wear), what I like most about them is that they stay comfortably warm even when damp with perspiration and after my activity level slows down while still outside in cold weather. I have also subsequently purchased several pairs for members of my family.

Note about size: While the Ibex size XL large is a perfect fit for me (I'm 5'10" and 210 pounds and wear a size 45-Reg jacket or suit coat), I purchased one each in the large-size of these for my son and two nephews as gifts. They are all an inch or two taller than I, and all are 30-35 pounds lighter in weight (my son wears a size 40-42 jacket)... and all liked the relative close-fit of the large-sized Woolie Zip-T as compared to the definite tight-fit of the medium-sized Woolie zip-T.

The headband that they sent is really warm, but it feels too small. I don't know if it stretches over time so one size fits all. If it does, it will be a very good head band for me. If it doesn't, I'll have to give it to my daughter.

Great quality sun glasses, they look EXTREMELY cool! the lens have a slick reflection that makes them stand out from any other pair of glasses I have. The legs are thick and very sturdy and it can take a fall without a problem (careful not to scratch the lens though!)

I got this for my soon to be 8 year old daughter. The pale pink isn't as pink as her ballet tights, but it still looks cute in her ensemble which includes a little black skirt. She's very long, and this just barely fits her torso. Typically her size would be 7/8 for length but that would be too big on her in the arms. This leo is RIGHT there on her for size.

I had previously owned the Gel-170, and the Gel-180s were to replace that pair. I don't run, but I have very wide feet (EE). I like to be able to wear supportive shoes while running after the kids. I also needed a new pair of shoes immediately to help with a broken foot recovery.

The shoes do not run as wide as my previous pair. While they are breaking in, I am wearing stockings with them; not socks. I couldn't deal with the pressure on the broken bone caused by wearing a sock. Otherwise, they are as good as my previous shoes from ASICS.

This is my third pair of ASICS Gel shoes. I wear them in my aerobics and zumba classes. They are very comfortable right out of the box. The shoes give great arch support and cushioning under the ball of the foot. They are a little lose in the heel, but thicker socks solved that issue.

Pros:

1. Well made, medium thick 20mm high grade plastic, will not tear or rip easily

2. The hood is big & roomy & will protect well from the rain

3. The pants have snap front when you need to wee

4. The pants & jacket have a thin cloth liner AND the collar is Cordoroy

5. Jacket has vents on back & underarm so will breath

6. I'm 5'10 and 210 pounds with 30 inch pants inseam & fits well. Pants is a little long but will fit

perfect for 32 inch inseam

Cons:

1. You are never going to get the pants/jacket back into the small mesh bag it came in. I don't know

how they do it

2. The pants interior elastic is shoddy workmanship, I had to get a lighter & burn some loose threads
