Overall the shirt is a pretty good fit, and appears to be fairly well made. It's a tad longer than I would like it in the torso and sleeve length, but is comfortably snug across the chest and shoulders -I'm fairly broad, so I'm used to mediums being snug and prefer it that way. However, I have to give the product 3 stars because it isn't as effective as my other wicking clothes at actually moving moisture away from the body. I got the shirt today and took it for a 4 mile jog this evening in humid 71 degree weather, and even though I was perspiring a fair bit, I could feel the moisture staying on my body and I was overheating.

I use these tights for nordic skiing, cycling, and running. It should be mentioned that this version of the tights doesn't have the chamosis pad, which I didn't want for my intended uses. They are warm, windproof, and water resistant. The coldest I have worn them skiing without any layers on underneath is 0 degrees, and I was fine. If it got any colder though, I would put on another tight layer underneath. The fleece on the inside is soft and comfortable. The fit and construction is fantastic. Pearl iZumi is a great brand with a lifetime warranty. These tights are expensive, but well worth the investment for their versatility. I highly recommend them.

A spectacular COLD weather tight from Pearl that can be used for both running and biking (just wear your favorite bike shorts under them). When the temp dips below 40F degrees and gets windy you need this tight. Above 45F degree these tights get pretty warm, but still breathe. I have worn these on a handful of 30F-50F degree rides and not once have my legs gone cold from the temperature or windchill.

Pros:

Great windproof front panels. The front panels are a somewhat neoprene-like fabric that is slick and stretchy. Pearl claims they are also water resistant which I believe, but have yet to field test.

Very warm/comfortable thermal fleece fabric lining on the inside. It wicks moisture nicely! I have soaked through these things with sweat and have never felt chilled.

A higher cut "tail" in the rear to protect your lower back as you are bent over riding

Cons:

Fitment is a little funny in the "private" area. I am 5'11" 160lb and bought the Medium. The fit is spot-on around the waist, thighs, ankles, and overall length. But, due to the thickness of the neoprene fabric, there seems to be almost a flat spot in front of the family jewels where the material doesn't conform to the contours of the body. Not a big deal, purely cosmetic. Just thought I'd mention it because it might look funny when running.

Thick material if planning on running. I am not saying you can't run in them but Pearl makes a great thermal running tight called the Infinity Thermal Tight that affords a little more freedom of movement.

No pockets! Not even a little fabric one on the inside... ugh.

Overall, these tights perform perfectly on the long, cold, windy rides.

I've worn these down to very low temps and they deliver. The useful temperature range is also surprisingly wide: probably you can go from about zero all the way up to 35 degrees F with these and feel fine. For lower temps, add long johns and you'll be burning up. (I wore some medium weight long johns with these at a windy 9 degrees F and I was warm even standing around...).

They are remarkably waterproof/resistant (fyi, amfib is a shortening of "amphibian" I think).

Very comfortable.

Not sure what other people mean about sizing. I just barely fit in my size L Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal tights... but these Amfibs are MUCH MUCH easier to get on and seem to fit perfectly. 5'10", 205 pounds and I'm in the size large.

A number of reviews on Amazon and elsewhere have mentioned that these AmFIB Tights run... tight, and advise ordering them a size up. Did that myself because I had always found iZUMi's cycling shorts in Large fit me best (even though at 6', 32"x32", 165 lbs I normally take Medium in pants.) This turned out to be a mistake: the L were too baggy under my butt and around my knees, and way too long (touched the floor.) Returned them for an M which fit much better. New pair reaches down over my ankle bone without excess (are cut to flair out a bit in front to partially cover the instep) . Pleasantly surprised me because the sizing chart only indicates one half inch difference between inseams.

Dunno whether it is because of or despite their being so compressive, but I've found the AmFIBs pretty comfortable while riding my recumbent bike. The lighter, stretchier material sewn in back of the knee allows good range of movement for pedaling, while the minimal fleece interior throughout keeps them from feeling sticky against the skin. This particular tight does not incorporate a chamois, but as "'bents" like mine feature a wide seat rather than the traditional, narrower saddle of diamond frame bicycles, I am happy without the pad. Also this model does not include the stirrups found other of the AmFIBs Elites; again, not a problem. The ankle zippers work great.

Purchased these tights for winter cycling, was a little bit disappointed in that regard: While they did get me sweating as I struggled to pull them on for the first time, the moment I got outside my knees felt cold. Temperature was in the forties, but the wind was terrific, so maybe that had something to do with my poor experience. Still, I had previously gone out riding in flimsy skinny jeans over a Jockey® Stretch Waffle Long John in much colder weather and had felt no chill in my knees whatsoever. Fortunately though, I discovered that if I pre-load these Pearl iZUMis with my Jockeys they will both fit on together without any bunching. Kind of a PITA but the combination of the two is warm enough for riding when the temperature hovers around freezing -haven't had an opportunity to test them in colder conditions than that yet (and don't really wanna.)

I really wanted to like this hoodie, but it just did not work for me. The material was not soft enough for me for a next-to-skin layer (and I wear lots of merino wool as base layers). The bigger problem for me is the EXTREME length, both in the body and the sleeves. I am 5'3" (short but not absurdly short, I don't think) and it fit like a tunic on me. It even looks a tad ridiculous on the model in the picture, so you know it's got to be long. And the sleeves were incredibly long, especially given the extra length to accommodate the thumb holes. Wish Icebreaker would make this in a normal length.

I wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewer, this jacket is perfect! I love Icebreaker products in general, and this is no exception in terms of quality of workmanship and material. I wasn't sure what to expect of the "GT 260 terry" fabric, because the various weights & weaves of wool can vary drastically; this one is smooth & stretchy on the outside with a fine French terry loop inside. I've worn this in a light drizzle and the hood actually kept my hair dry, which was a pleasant surprise as it doesn't claim to be water repellent.

I wear a 10/12 top and ordered this in a Large, which fits perfectly (it's not as loose as shown on the model, but I don't believe it's intended to be); I have plenty of room to move freely in this jacket without looking sloppy. Love it!

i got a grey size small, fits perfect--slightly loose, not tight but not baggy (just like picture). sportier than a normal "sweatshirt." pockets are functional. sleeves and length are long, falls just above thighs in front. fabric is thinner than a normal sweatshirt, but warm. i layer it under my jacket/coat on colder days, or wear by itself when less cold. is standing up well to frequent washings :)

Review of ASICS Men's Lethal Testimonial 2 Soccer Shoe

I am a 40 something player, previously pretty good and quite competitive, getting back into it after 6 years off due to injuries etc. I developed Plantar Faciitis, and both my old cleats (Lotto and Kelme, and prior to Kelme, I was a Puma King guy) exacerbated it badly with essentially no arch or footbed.

I wanted cleats with: kangaroo uppers (I find synthetics crack), preferably blade-style cleats (vs round ones), a fold-over tongue and a good footbed. Fold-over tongue seem to have gone out of style, but I find a straight tongue digs into my ankle.

These ASICs have great footbed, and feel to me but like the ASIC running shoes, which I also wear. Of course the cleats fit much tighter. The heel is slightly raised. The uppers are soft, with good stitched padding on the toe. I would prefer all blade-style cleats, but they just have blades on the three front toe cleats, and the rest are oval. There are a good number of cleats, making them good for harder ground. I found them to pickup a bit of grass on softer wet ground.

These are by far the most comfortable cleats I have ever worn. They are not the lightest, but they are not real heavy either at around 9.8 oz. At my age, absolute foot speed is no longer the #1 driver. However, I cannot express how comfortable they are, even when quite tight. The fit and feel are absolutely excellent

I can't comment on durability yet. The sole is glued with three rivets around the toe. The laces are kind of thin for cleats. We'll see how they do, but they are easily replaced.

I couldn't be happier with these cleats, particularly since I bought them sight-unseen from online descriptions and pictures.

I bought this shirt in Ensign blue about six months ago for work trips. I'm a humanitarian worker and work trips can involve long, dusty or muddy days in refugee camps, meeting Ministry of Health reps or sitting around in hot offices. I just got this bike in the mail for my daughter yesterday. I went with this one because it is not too expensive and because it has no advertisement on it. Walmart and Target are selling a similar red wooden balance bike for 54 dollars, but it has this huge Elmo face on the front. I considered the Skutt too, but went with this one for no real particular reason other than I liked the looks of this one over the Skutt. My daughter was EXTREMELY excited. We just got back from 6 months in Hungary where this type of bike is very popular. Our daughter just turned 2, and the bike is a little bit big for her. She needs to grow about an inch more. The materials seem very good. The only unfortunate thing, which we resolved, was that when the bike came, although it was extremely easy to put together, the front and back tires would not inflate. We suspected the inner tubes had holes, and low and behold, when I took them both out (I can change tires on bikes easily), I found the front tube had a half-inch slice in it, and the back tube had a puncture near the value. Luckily, I had my tube patch kit and I fixed them. I don't know how this happened--whether in shipping or if the holes happened when the bike parts were assembled in factory. But problem solved at no expense and with just about an hour of my time. So thus far we are happy with the bike--just a little annoyed at the company. I wonder if they have quality control that could check for this "tube" problem. I was surprised there are no reviews for this bike so I thought I would post one. I guess this bike is new on the market.

The Smart Gear Balance Bike is one of many knockoffs of the LIKEaBIKE. We chose the Smart Gear over the other copies (and the original) because of its low price, not wanting to pay $200-$300 for a wooden push bike. Well, you get what you pay for.

Immediately after purchasing it, I had to replace both tubes. Whoever assembled the wheels at the factory must have used a tool that ended up slicing both tubes. Then, within a few weeks with barely any use, all the plywood started to delaminate--first the wheels, then the main frame, then the seat column. If you look carefully at the plywood, you can see that the inner layers of wood are extremely low-grade.

Once my son grew enough to actually use the balance bike, the axle bolts kept unwinding themselves out of their mating/binding posts. I had to apply nail polish on the threads to stop the unwinding--an old trick I use when wrenching my own stable of 13 bicycles. By the way, the rear axle bolt and its binding post go through the frame's wood at a right angle, but due to the curves of the main frame components, the wood pieces are not parallel; therefore, the rear axle stays constantly bent, putting pressure on the wheel bearings.

Despite the use of sub-par materials and poorly-executed construction, the Smart Gear balance bike is one of my son's favorite toys. He's now quite adept at cruising on the bike, pushing with his feet then bringing them up and steering to stay upright.

I should also mention that unlike many of its competitors, the Smart Gear has a built-in handle. It's very easy to lift and carry the bike--especially handy when we're entering a store or restaurant.

I read as many reviews on push bikes as I could before ordering this and wanted to give a comprehensive review after having for a month. I did appreciate the comment suggesting just leaving the pedals off a standard bike until our child is ready for pedals, but I think we did well getting this for under seventy, including shipping, and we'll be able to sell it for half that, or better, after our two kids have outgrown it. I was willing to go as high as eighty for a used push bike, and was very happy to find such a deal for a new one.

We ordered this for our first child and she loves it. She is 3.75 years-old and a little tall for her age.

She was very excited to unpackage and assemble it with me, which was a snap, and she rode it on our laminate flooring that night. The design is such that when the bike is on its side, only the tires and the rubber handlebar grip touch the floor, i.e. no wooden parts or bolts ding my floor when it falls over. We haven't had any trouble with the tires not holding air.

We took it outside the next day and she just wanted to ride her trike, but by the end of the day she wanted to ride "the wooden bike" more.

We are fortunate to have a bunch of walking paths in the woods near our home and we prefer to ride there to enjoy the scenery, and so that fall are softer, but this bike does great on pavement, trails and indoors. The tires are knobby, but we'll never take it out in the mud and slicks or semi-slicks would be fine on the trails we'll be on.

The bike is quite light and she has no trouble picking it up or pushing it. However, for the first couple weeks she was slower riding her bike than when we go "walking." That isn't entirely fair of me to say because she almost never walks and usually runs circles around me. So, she is a much faster runner than rider. She has gotten faster on the bike, but will probably always be faster on foot.

When we stray far from home, I always end up carrying it a ways, and of coarse up and down any steep hills. I expected this, but thought it was worth mentioning here.

The handle cut into the frame is handy, but the position/angle of the handle is a little off such that the rear wheel hangs lower than the front and I end up carrying its weight mostly on my pinky and ring fingers. Actually, I usually carry it with my hand between the handlebar grips. This is my only complaint about the bike, and isn't a big enough deal to dock the review a star. The bike is light enough for me to carry without the handle.

We initially put it together with the seat in the lowest position and immediately saw that this was much too low. I moved it up to the second highest position and that looked pretty comfortable for her, but I was disappointed that she'd only fit it until she outgrew the next height.

She asked a couple days ago if she could have the seat lowered and now it is in the third highest position, and looks like a fair fit, and she reports that she likes it better there. Still, I think she'll be ready for a pedal bike before she would have outgrown just one more notch. I wish that for her height, the handlebars we higher, but when our second child starts riding it, I'll be glad they are as low as they are.

We've had to explain this bike to so many neighbors that she now calls it her balance bike, which is more apt.

Our daughter still over-steers, but is getting better and corrects well. She's had a few wrecks, but has walked away from all of them on her own. The lightness of the bike, and lack of protruding parts contribute to this.

We also have a tag-along bike, a single wheel on an arm that attaches to my seatpost, a seat and a pair of pedals. I think that we'll hold off on that until she is a little taller, but between the two, I think she'll be ready for a pedal bike by next summer.

We have a younger child also and fully expect the balance bike to be in great condition when he is tall enough to start riding it. It is a quality bike and will take all the riding we'll be able to give it.

One note on style, we too liked that this was mostly unbranded. It does have a small label on the front, but we planned on our daughter putting some removable vinyl stickers all over it and didn't want some character's face on the bike. We asked if she wanted to decorate it and she said she likes it just the way it is.

I got this balance bike for my son's second birthday. He is a rather short 2-year-old (33") and so I was looking for bikes where you can lower the seat a lot. The product description didn't offer this information but on the smart gear homepage I found the info that you can lower the seat to as as 12,5". After I assembled the bike (which was super-easy, it comes in only three pieces) the lowest seat height measured 15"! :-(

I remembered reading about the skuut that you can lower the seat by flipping the frame. I tried it and it really lowers the bike. The problem was though that the seat now sat at an odd and useless angle. So I took out the bolts that hold the seat, put the seat in its desired position and drilled two new holes for the bolts (took about 10min). In addition I removed the little mud guard from under the seat and was able to lower the seat to under 12"!!! Now my son's feet touch the ground easily.

We bought this for my sons 3rd birthday. He was pretty nervous about trying it at first but after some time, he really enjoyed it and caught on quickly. We loved it because there were no pedals and he could learn to balance. It was adjustable, easy to assemble, light weight and we thought, durable. However, less than 3 months after purchasing it, it has completely fallen apart. My son was so sad when he got on his bike and it broke. He is not too big for it and it has not been used all that much or mistreated. The wood started pealing apart and falling off and eventually it broke right off the front tire...the wood just rotted away. I am so unhappy and am hoping for a refund and will buy my son the same type of bike but a different brand.

*Update* Amazon was great to work with and had UPS out here the very next day to pick up the bike. It was shipped back for free and after a few days, we received a full refund. I did have to email them and request that we not be charged a $12 re-stocking fee since there was no way that this bike was going to be restocked. Anyways, I am still disappointed in the bike but very pleased with the customer service from Amazon. I am currently researching a new balance bike to get for my son and won't hesitate to purchase from them again.

My husband and son both have this exact coat. It has an inner liner (jacket) that they enjoy wearing alone for warmer weather. It fits to size and is the entire coat is very handsome. The only complaint is that the inner jacket is already starting to fray after only very minimal wear! That is with normal use. Because it is so pricey (and has that well known Spyder label!) I almost gave this jacket fewer stars because I would have expected better quality from the inside jacket,. But the shell is well made and this jacket has lived up to the warmth factor as well. My husband and son both love it. The colors shown are a very accurate match to the coats as well. We have the blue and red.

I wanted something fashionable, sporty and not the classic north face or columbia that everybody has. In addition top that, I wanted something with a modern fit and not huge and baggy. I saw this brand, not too many reviews on the web, but meets what I was looking for. A little bit more expensive than average, but totally worth it. The seller delivered on time and in good conditions.
