was looking for a light fleece as good as MOUNTAIN DESIGNs discontinued 100 polartec and this definitely is almost as light and extremely comfortable ..well made ..yet to see how colour holds up after a few months ..happy days !

Pretty good fleece. It keeps you warm enough for the fall, but not good enough for winter. The layer is this, comparable to putting on 1 or 2 t shirts over yourself. I found its warm, but I still get cold in New Jersey weather. If you are looking for warmth, maybe go with some of North Faces other options such as the TDK. I almost wish I had, but I wasn't ready to pay $80.

As far as fit goes, it fits true to size. I have a medium large build, but I fit perfectly into a large. I would try on a cotton t shirt before you wash it, and that's most likely your North Face size.

I paid $40 for this with shipping from Sunny Sports. The material does dry fairly nicely though. Overall, I would wear something underneath for warmth. Columbia makes a fleece that is a bit warmer and more competitive for comfort. With this fleece I feel like I just bought the name brand, nothing more.

A comfortable fleece very soft to the touch. However, it won't really keep you warm because it's paper-thin. I usually wear it around the house, but that's it. I wouldn't spend more than $20.00 on it.
