These are just as described. Single layer, poly material, meant for high activity in cold weather. I just received these. It's late november in Minnesota and I'm bicycling in them. They are thin and snug. The length is very good, as they ride low to cover my lower back when bent over riding. Also, the sleaves are a nice long length. I'm very pleased so far.
