It is a great, medium/lightish weight sweatshirt. It is very soft, comfortable and runs ever so slightly big which I think sweatshirts should.

These hoody's are awsome! They just what my kids wanted for Christmas. That were a tad high in price, but the quality of them were great.

I bought this to wear as part of a Halloween costume. (I was Perry the Platypus) It worked for that. Afterwards I just wore it as a regular hoodie under a slightly heavier jacket and it kept me warm fine. On it's own it wouldn't do much for you in cold(under 40 degrees F)but it could be a good part of a layering plan. Held up in the wash fine too.

I ordered two of these, and as presented, they are heavy weight and nice to wear over a long sleeve tee. I have two complaints about them, however. I washed them in warm water and dried them on medium heat, but both have shrunk in length. I would suggest hanging them to dry, but since they are made of heavy weight material, it might take a while! The other complaint is that the neck area seems smaller than most. I have a normal sized head, and I stretch out the neck before putting it over my head so I don't pull out all my hair. I ordered a red one and a purple one, and they do hold their color well.
