After reading the reviews, I ordered a size down. Still, it was allowing water to flow between my shoulder blades, so I exchanged it for a smaller size. Am I glad I did! It's tight to put on, but stretches a bit when it gets wet. Swimming raises your shoulders, so you do have to pull it down a bit but for the most part, it stays put. I love the fact that the arm holes are nice and big so you don't have anything impeding your stroke or rubbing.

Well worth the investment! I expect it to last for a very long time.

I bought this vest because I wanted to use it for tris. I am not a strong swimmer and wanted something that would help keep me afloat. Even at 2.5 mm it does a great job. Much more buoyant than I thought. I am a size 10/12 and ordered a 12. I find it a it lose but doable. I would recommend ordering a size smaller if you are in between size.

I ordered size 8 that fit my bust-waist-hip measurements perfectly but that size gapped at the shoulder openings. I took a chance and ordered a 6. It fits right at the shoulder and neck openings so water doesn't exchange. The vest uses its stretch to cover the bust and tummy over my bathing suit. Just what I was looking for as I am very thin and get cold in the "Arthritis Exercise" Class in our 89F pool. Big zipper makes it easy to get on and off, good for my handicap. Twice a week use for 1.5 hour sessions in the 4 months since Christmas has not shown any degradation. I rinse the vest in fresh water after the chlorinated pool, in the shower, and hang it on a thick plastic hanger over the shower rod as soon as I get home. Dries quickly. Just what I was looking for. After 4 months it is still soft and stretchy like new!

I wore this on a crisp, windy summer day to a water park. I loved that I stayed warm (I'm normally the person that turns blue since I get cold easily) and could easily unzip/zip the vest to put it on or give myself a bit more of a breeze. I definitely recommend this and separate shorts for anyone wanting a shorty... It's much better (easier to get in and out of, easier to customize for the temps, etc)

I love this vest. I decided once and for all to start swimming lessons at the ripe age of 50 and found that my shaky nerves kept me feeling cold all the time in the water. But with this thing on, it really keeps your "core" warm and helps me to more "relax" when I'm in the water.
