These are definatley the best socks...my hubby is very picky about socks and these are the only kind he likes...soft...with padded toe and heel give him the comfort he likes! Highly recommmeded!

Sox aren't something to get excited about, but I've been looking for a long time for Coolmax athletic crew sox and these fit the bill perfectly. They are a medium weight--if you're looking for a very light sock, this isn't it--and work just as advertised for running and cycling. I travel with them which is why quick-drying is particularly important.

Having some foot problems, my DPM advised that a New Balance store in the Bridgeport Village (northern Oregon) might be able to assist me with my diagnosed 'flexible forefoot valgus.' Thought I needed to take some antibiotics until the DPM advised that I have a high arch which lends itself to increased pressure/pain on the outside of the foot. I went to the store and purchased a pair of NB856 Cross Trainers. The salesman advised that the CoolMax socks might also be of benefit. I put them on and they feel great better than the ordinary tube socks I've been buying for the last 40+ years. All I can say is, at least, try one pair. Betcha buy a couple more!!!

My husband has worn these socks for years, and won't consider any others. When we could not get through to the local retailer, finding them on Amazon (at a better than expected price) was a huge bonus. We will check Amazon first, in the future.

Very comfy, good cushion, fits snug but not tight, does a good job of wicking moisture away from my feet (noticable on long speed walks in hot weather).
