The piece is as beautiful as pictured, the details are nice. It was just much larger than expected. there is no diameter listed on the auction and I did hesitate before buying, but I guessed it would be about the size of a quarter and placed the order; I was wrong. It is MUCH larger it's an oval shape, about 1.75" across, 2" top to bottom. So it is rather large and heavy. If you're ok with the size, then you will not be disappointed. It is just too large for me to enjoy wearing.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She was absolutely thrilled. It's quite heavy, although not too much so, and looks exactly like the picture. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't have a metal backing because I wanted to get it engraved, but other than that it is perfect.

I got this for my daughter. She really likes it. Yes, the pendent is large and heavy, but not huge. My daugher is in her teens and the size & weight are not a problem.
One problem she had was that the neck strap pulled out of the claps, but a dab of superglue took care of that.
