It keeps me perfectly warm, whether I wear a t-shirt underneath or not. Don't need any other sweaters, unless it gets really cold.

I ordered a Small, which is pretty snug, and I'm 5'7" at 135lbs, so make sure you get the correct size. If you get a size too small, it probably won't fit.

Also, the hood is not one of those loose, flappy ones. It's meant as a base layer, so it sits tight around your head. Great for warmth, but it makes you look like you're getting ready for a deep sea dive.

The wool does exactly what they claim it does, washes easily, dries quickly, doesn't retain smells (much). Weighs just a little bit more than a t-shirt.

It fits well, it feel confy, it's warm when u r moving and super lightweight. Though, it's too expensive in it regular price.

this is the second one i buy, perfect for biking with or without jacket and/or gloves.

only crit: thumb holes could be a bit softer, the pipping there is a bit too thick. (no big deal, though)

This thing has a really great style. The XL is a perfect fit for 6'1, 200, if you don't like things like this super snug--I prefer things I may where casually to be a little looser than things I would only be wearing as a base layer. This has enough 'cool' factor to do that, so the XL was a good choice for me. I've worn it casually a large number of times since purchase and really like it. I also have worn it a few times as a midlayer (over a icebreaker 200, and, on a really cold day, under a arcteryx atom) skiing, and it was great. The hoodie is thin, and can sit in back if not worn, without causing a lump in my shell/hump in my back, but its thin enough to pull up under my ski helmet in the early morning. Nice piece.
