The cup slides into a pocket in the front of the brief. The brief itself is very stretchy. There is a sizing chart on the Shock Doctor website. My son is just turning 4, and he wears the PeeWee Regular. I'll definitely buy more.Best Deals for Shock Doctor Peewee Power Brief with BioFlex Cup
I purchased this for my four year old (43", 39lbs) because it is required gear for chipmunk street hockey. We went to pretty much ever local sports store (Dicks, Sports Authority ect) and could not find an athletic cup for his age group. Dick's did carry the adult and teen versions of the Shock Doctor Peewee Cup which lead me to look it up on amazon.Overall I am happy with the purchase, made from a tough plastic with a soft silicon outside which also is "sticky" enough to keep it pretty stationary in the underwear pocket. My son doesn't complain that it moves during activity. He is a thin 5T pant size and the underwear fit pretty well, just a little loose in the back area and the waist has plenty of stretch left.
Honest reviews on Shock Doctor Peewee Power Brief with BioFlex Cup
I got the Pee-Wee large size for my 7-year old boy who is just starting baseball. I highly recommend it! The cup, which is perfectly sized for this age group, sits in a fabric pouch sewn on the inside of what is a simple "brief" style underwear. It fits comfortably, the cup goes easily in and out of this pouch, and the elastic is of high quality. My son does not complain about having to wear it, and it doesn't cramp his style whatsoever on the playing field. I am going to be sticking with this brand for a long time. My only advice would be that the sizes tend to run small. My son is about 50 inches tall, and skinny as a rail, and the Pee-Wee Large just barely fits him. Others who have reviewed this product are correct when they say to order up if your pint-sized player is not super skinny. My son is 48.5 inches tall and weighs 54 pounds. He is solid. Originally we bought him the smaller size (peewee regular). His waist was at the top of the spectrum, but still listed for that size. Since the briefs are very snug (think lycra type fit) they cut into him a bit too much for my liking at the leg bands and waist. So I ordered him peewee large and that has been more comfortable. The cup is the same for all peewee's so it is just the brief that makes the difference between the two sizes.Quality of the brief is good and has held up to washing. I try to line dry it but it ends up in the dryer 99% of the time. The cup part is solid and easy to slide out for washing.
