Ove the jersey, feel safe when i play,cons:your sides get zero protection, my brother bought the planet eclipse over load jersey, and his has side padding, love his and his was cheaper.

I got this more for when I play Big Games since you tend to get shot from all angles and in the back versus speedball where you pretty much know where the shots are coming from. The sizing is about right. I ordered a "L/XL" but find it a bit baggy for me (5'8" 180lbs.) You want it a bit snugger like a rashguard.
BTW, the picture with what looks like "green" meshing is actually just a graphic print on the fabric.

This is a great little product, the sizing seemed about right and it does cushion the paintball impacts to a certain extent (do not expect no pain or sensation of getting hit though). However, as I have learned, there is no padding that protects under your arms and armpit area which is a highly sensitive soft tissue region of the body. Ironically, I was hit once in the chest (the vest was great), and later 3 times under the arms (no padding and completely exposed). That being said, typically I never get hit in that area and have to pass it off as Murphy's Law. Overall this protector did what I expected and I would recommend it.
