I love Spy sunglasses, they are perfect for my taste and fit my face well. I've only owned the Hielo model so I cant really comment on other models. I bought these after I lost my original Spy Hielo's but the matte black ones are better than the shiny black frames with chrome logo. The price on Amazon was awesome! $70 for this pair , when my first pair cost me $100 at a retailer. Awesome for someone with a small to medium frame head.

I have wanted these sunglasses for years and have finally been able to purchase them for myself. I was a little worried about buying these glasses on line without trying them on first but no worries the glasses fit me great. They're cool, fresh, and fit great. Plus they're much cheaper on amazon than in stores, it was also great being able to find exactly which pair of glasses I wanted instead of a limited selection of a retailer. These were my first pair of big brand name sunglasses like spys or oakleys or raybands and I am very happy with this pair from spy. Great glasses for a great price.

I got these at Costco much cheaper than anywhere else, and I see why they are liquidating them. They look OK, and unless you are totally devoted to spending too much money to marginally and pointlessly enhance your look, one would assume you actually want sun protection. OK... so I put these on for the first time and the first thing you see is your own eyes staring back at you. OK... this can happen with some sunglasses, but if you ignore it enough you can tune it out. I live in Florida.. the sunshine state... and day in and day out using these glasses has been a horrible experience. You never get used to your eyes staring back at you, and I have never in my life even with cheapo sunglasses had to still squint in bright sun while wearing them. They DO NOT protect you against the brightness or harshness of bright sunlight. They are a disaster at the beach and the thick frame (especially on top) obstructs your vision. Also due to the the thick frame, they slide down your face, especially if you wear them biking or if you sweat a lot as people often do in bright sunlight in hot climates... then you have the thick frame right in your line of vision. Even if you get them to stay up in front of your eyes, the lenses simply don't do a good job at filtering out the wavelengths of light that create fatigue and irritation. After wearing these out for two weeks now, my eyes are always tired and the muscles around them fatigued. I shouldn't have to have long adjustment periods going from outdoors to indoors if I'm wearing sunglasses the whole time, yet you get that with these. Terrible. Just terrible. I really wasn't sold that polarization was all that important, but my next pair will absolutely have that feature, as it was damn near impossible to look out on the ocean with these glasses and discern dimension and texture. Total waste of money, and they don't look all that great really.

Great sunglasses, sharp appearance. Only complaint I have is they do not stay on your head when you slide them up to rest on the top of your head.
