I wanted a hat for working and running outdoors. My requirements for the hat include the need to keep the sun off of my head and out of my eyes, stay on my head while I move about, and keep the sweat out of my eyes. I selected the "oyster" color, which is the lightest color, so that the hat does not become too hot in the sun. The hat is 100% cotton, except the buckle, eyelets, and tags, and washes right in the laundry with my other dirty clothes. The nice buckle adjustment and wide band are secure enough to keep it tight around my head so that, even in a stiff wind, it stays put while engaging in physical activities, yet it is very comfortable to wear for hours. It is very absorbent, so I don't have sweat running into my eyes. It has held up well, even after several washings, and I suspect it will keep looking good as it ages. I have ordered three more so that I likely will have one handy any time I find myself out in the sun. In appearance, the picture provided here on Amazon is accurate. I recommend this hat for its design, construction quality, and suitability for my requirements.

Very nice, well made hat, but not for people with large heads. There is some adjustment but not enough for me. Bummer.

I read many reviews on Amazon regarding it not fitting people with large heads. Having a large noggin, I was naturally a little concerned when I ordered it, but for the price (under $10), I figured worst case scenario I could give it to my kid if it didn't fit.

The hat fits great. I'm not sure if the reviews claiming it being too small were written by individuals resembling The Great Gazoo or what, but I have tons of room to adjust the hat to accommodate a more spherically endowed cranium.

In short, get the hat... You won't be disappointed regardless of your head size, unless you are freakishly like Sputnik.

This hat is great. The adjustment strap is not velcro, which is nice, and the adjustment strap tucks neatly into a slot on the hat to avoid hanging out and flapping in the wind.

The adjustment strap is very long, allowing for people with big heads or big hair to wear the hat comfortably. The bill is longer than other hats I've had, offering more protection from the sun.

I like that it is organically grown, causing less toxic invasion of chemicals to our soil and earth, but it was made on the Asian continent thousands of miles from here, adding to its footprint. I would have preferred something made in Canada, Mexico, or the USA as they're much closer.

The hat is very nice, functional, and adjustable.

A few notes:

Collar is rather tight.

Sizes run small, so size up.

Decent quality cotton, good logo pressing.

Will update as time goes by. But for less than $5 it's worth the price even as a sleepy shirt or an around the house shirt!

My experience with sunglasses over the past 15 or so years has been exclusively with Oakley sunglasses. I bought these 5.11 Cavu Polarized glasses when I needed sunglasses with polarized lenses just prior to a fishing trip I was going on. I checked with Oakley and found that most if not all of the styles i wear were back ordered. I have had really good luck with 5.11 products, so I didn't have an issue trying something new, especially from a company that I really like. My sunglasses arrived promptly in two days, came with a nice black molle pouch, and a towel to clean the glasses. Initially I was happy with my purchase, these glasses are well built, sturdy, but a tad heavier than what I'm used to. I wore these glasses exclusively for the next month, then one day my son asked why I had little black specks on my nose? I looked in the mirror and sure enough I had black bits of plastic on the bridge of my nose. I looked at the sunglasses and noticed the nose piece is disintegrating! Literally scaling off bit by bit. Then I looked at the ear pieces and found that the 5.11 labeling had smudged off, and the rubber like material is also breaking down. The thing that gets me is the nose piece and ear pieces are not replaceable (like Oakelys) so I can't just fix these up. I paid $107 for these glasses and don't feel they are a quality product. Disappointing in deed. Pictures on request.

I recently moved to the UAE and these glasses are amazing. I work outdoors. The polarized lens are great. I have noticed that the rubber around the nose area is fading but I'm going to blame that on wearing them all the time. I've dropped them a number of times and the keep on ticking. Very scratch resistant too. Highly recommend.

The breeches are comfortable and ride well. My only complaint is that the ones I ordered (in gray) are not 'true' full seats. The suede-material only covers the knees, and another layer of ribbed material is added in the shape of the full seat.

I like the look and feel of this and it's very effective for layering and quite comfortable. My main issue seems to be that it's markedly more prone to that previously worn odor than similar tops I have. If worn over one or two layers this just seems to pick up that bacteria odor synthetics often do much more easily. I'm talking mild wearing use, not active workout use. It washes up fine, but it stands out in this regard.

Thanks to previous reviewers, I learned that these run long, and they weren't kidding. Since I am tall, I often have to buy things in larger waist sizes than I would like in order to get the legs to be long enough. Not with this pant -thanks to the reviews, I was able to get a great fit. This is a dream pant for someone who wants something long, but without having it be baggy. I will probably be buying another one.

Also, unlike some other Prana pants, they do indeed not have pockets (again, just as other reviewers have mentioned,) so I don't wear them out and about, and one shouldn't buy them hoping to use them for that purpose unless one has other plans for what to do with keys, etc. They are great for home workouts and lounging.

They are ok, You have to make sure they are the correct size, sometimes a large really means extra large.

Material is a very thin rayon with a plastic coating on the inside like a pup tent. Prepare to work up a sweat 5 minutes after you put it on. My jacket came with a sleeve liner that was somehow turned 180 degrees before it was sewn into place. As it is an integral part of the way the wrist is elasticized, it is impossible to easily fix. I think I'm going to send it back. All in all not bad for $10 if yours isn't defective.

EDIT: Low and behold, 2 weeks after I sent it back with a note specifically indicating that the the sleeve was defective, the item unwearable, and to please not try to resell it AGAIN, it has been re-listed on Warehouse Deals. I suspect this jacket will spend the rest of time just getting shipped from, and back to, Amazon. Sigh.

prAna Men's Nemesis Knicker Review

I bought these knickers for use in yoga. Yoga pants can be a bit long, and can bind up your feet in certain poses, but the Nemesis Knicker is perfect. It comes down to about 6 inches above your ankle, is made of very flexible material, and is highly water resistant. For use in yoga, it is a little less soft than pants such as Lululemons Kung Fu pant or 72k's Wave short (both of which I recommend as highly functional mens clothing for hot yoga practice), but it is very comfortable and works very well for yoga.

That is why I bought these Knickers. Once I got used to them, they have become my go-to everyday pant. They are just excellent and stylish, and I am comfortable wearing them out and about with friends or going to the gym or yoga studio. They've even replaced my super comfy Duluth Trading Co. sweatpants for what I wear when chilling around the house in the morning/ evening. I'll be buying more of these, in more colors, and I am interested in checking out the Sutra pant, which seems like the Nemesis Knicker except full pant length. Highly recommended.

I bought these shorts to ride my bike in the chillier winter weather. They are very comfortable and are roomy enough to wear a liner underneath if so desired (I wear a 34 waist jean, and I got the Large). There is a cinch belt that enables you to pull it tight enough that it won't sag when you are going up and down on your bike, or any other athletic event. The material is soft and comfortable, I will get at least one more pair and will be wearing these shorts most weekends during the year.

Update: I now have three pairs of these shorts. I lost about 20lbs, 32-33 waist in jeans now and the last pair I got was a medium. Fits great, the larges are still quite wearable as well. I get comments about them, (some unfavorable) as they are long...but I don't care, I love the fit, and wear them all of the time. They are still great bike riding shorts...

first off, these are manpris.... not "knickers" or "3/4 pants".once you get past that and can live with it (i love manpris), they are quite long. i would have kept them if they had been about 2 inches shorter. i think they are longer than the 20 inches stated in the description. if you are shorter than 6' tall, these will come well past the midpoint of your shins. good cut though, and they were super comfortable when i tried them on.

Knickers... Man-Pris... whatever... these are pretty much capri pants for men.

I've been made fun of for these and I've been complimented for them as well.

The people who give me crap for these are usually homophobes, so whatever... (I'm straight btw)

Whatever's.... these knickers are comfortable and they match my driver shoes and/or TOMS which I wear w/o socks.

I'm a 33" waist and got Medium and they're snug.

The material is this thin nylon-ish material.

Again, very comfortable and perfect for days where it's too hot to wear regular pants, but you're not in the mood to wear shorts... if you've ever experienced that...

If you have muscles in your arms this may be tight. This shirts cut is weird. It has broad shoulders, a huge head opening, fitted torso, and short sleeves. The fabric, as with most Mammut cotton, is excellent. I would just caution a buyer if they are not built like an olympian. They may find they have to size-up.
