Material is a very thin rayon with a plastic coating on the inside like a pup tent. Prepare to work up a sweat 5 minutes after you put it on. My jacket came with a sleeve liner that was somehow turned 180 degrees before it was sewn into place. As it is an integral part of the way the wrist is elasticized, it is impossible to easily fix. I think I'm going to send it back. All in all not bad for $10 if yours isn't defective.EDIT: Low and behold, 2 weeks after I sent it back with a note specifically indicating that the the sleeve was defective, the item unwearable, and to please not try to resell it AGAIN, it has been re-listed on Warehouse Deals. I suspect this jacket will spend the rest of time just getting shipped from, and back to, Amazon. Sigh.
