I use the reflective tape for my road bicycle. It is simply amazing stuff. If the bike is de-greased first; say with alcohol, the tape will stick and reflect well.....for years. The fella that mentioned in his review to put Duct Tape in lieu of real reflective tape, is clearly not a very bright individual.

The tape itself in innocuous. I place it in rings around the bars by the stem, on the stays, the down tube and around the head tube. Also, I put an inch or two on the tip of each crank and in the crank web. I've been told that this, "blinks" while pedaling. Lastly, I lined the gray foam immediately below the hard plastic shell of my helmet --this alone causes my helmet to light-up and scream in both street and automobile lights. The tape conforms lovely around odd shapes and is easily cut to size in place with a small razor.

I've had absolutely no problem with the tape not adhering even after years of use. As a bonus, I found that the tape also works well covering up those little chips in the paint that happen over time. What's best, this stuff will not clutter up a bike! Leave cluttering to the other reflectors and light devices! On Tuesday and Thursday nights all fall and winter for the past two years, I've been doing an Under-the-Stars circuit ride that is open to traffic. Racers otherwise like myself, arrive decked out in lights and bulky reflectors, not me -beyond a small seat post blinky red light there is no need for reflective gear beyond this tape. Use this tape, you will be pleased in the long run.

Remember to clean your frame first with degreaser first!! Stay safe!

I put Lightweights Green Tape, Red Tape, Lime Tape and Black Stealth Tape on my kayak paddles two years ago. I was not only amazed that it curves and lays flat but that it sticks so well that sharp rocks can't even scrape it off my paddle blades. The blade itself gets scratches and gouges in it but the Lightweights tapes stay put and don't come off. I wish I knew how to upload a picture of how the scratch is on either side of the Lightweights Tapes in the fiberglass and carbon fiber but not on the tape. I put the black Stealth Tape on my bikes too and there was a section there where I wanted to put their bright silver tapes and had an almost impossible time trying to get this tape off the bike's painted frame. In fact, make sure you know exactly where you want it because it's hard to get off even if you want it to come off! My friends tell me they can see me, know it's me, from blocks away because of my Lightweights. This stuff is cool!

Best Deals for Lightweights Reflector Tape

Riding my bike in the dark always makes me nervous, but after applying a whole roll of this on various parts of my frame I feel much safer. No way can any driver miss me if they're paying any attention at all.

There's not a lot of tape in one package though, and it's pretty narrow stuff. One roll seems to be just barely enough for one bike frame.

Honest reviews on Lightweights Reflector Tape

I bought this to attach onto my bike and it is VERY reflective! I love this product and it is not hard at all to attach onto a bike or peel from the roll.

Pros:

-Very reflective

-Easy to install

Cons:

-Could be offered in more widths

-It is 3/8" wide only

Wish these would have worked for us as they are very nice and well priced. However, the sizing chart lists Men, Women, Boy and Girl and the "Youth S, M, L" sizing on the pants doesn't seem to correspond in anyway I can make sense of. I was ordering for a 100 lb boy so ordered the "Youth M" but when I received them they were more appropriate for my 7 year old 60 lb girl. She doesn't need them though. Hopefully good customer service response to come. Request has been submitted.

We LOVE these pants. This is our second pair. Our son uses them for ballet. Plus he can go right from football practice to dance in them. It's funny but seriously it's true. We found they are true to size. Last year we purchased size small when he was in 2nd grade 7 yr old and now he is totally out grown them and wearing a youth medium.

I bought this when traveling to Italy. It packed down tiny, was lightweight, and very comfortable. I hiked through tons of cities in it with tennis shoes on, as well as going out to dinner with heels. It is very flattering, not too hot, and got tons of compliments. I would order more if it came in different colors.

Honest reviews on Lole Women's Ollie Dress

I purchased the violet colors in size small; normally wear a size 4 dress, 36B bust. It fits very well and will work as either a sundress or coverup. However, there is a small bump out of one hip below the ruching that I may alter slightly. Beyond that and at Amazon's low prices, this is a great summer and travel buy.

A great shirt. It was a Christmas gift to my son who is a 49'ers fan. He loves it. He especially gets a big kick out of wearing it here in the East where there are very few 49'er fans. Shirt is well made and as described in sales literature.

What more can I say. This was a good buy. He wears it all the time, I'm happy to say.

Honest reviews on San Francisco 49ers Touchback V Full Zip Hoodie Sweatshirt

My husband is a 49er and Colts fan. I purchased his Colts hooded sweat shirt from a local department store and he loves it. In comparison to the Colts vs. the 49er sweatshirt the 49ers would be a 5 out of 10 and the Colts would be a 9 out of 10. I just don't understand how the quality could vary so much between one purchased in a department store and one on line. If you want one of these to work around the yard in; go for it. If you want it to wear around football fans, buy one from a store where you can touch, feel, and see..

The bag is comfortable to wear and large enough for my laptop, notebook, and miscellaneous stuff in the pockets. The matterial is soft canvas which means it will not stand up on its own, but I bought a plastic expandable file folder to give it some backbone.

Yeah, I know it's stupid to buy things based on what I see on TV, however, this is a really nice, versatile, understated, useful bag. The price is right. Seriously! You may think "these are just socks" and you will ride with just another pair of Haynes or whatever you have in the drawer. PICK YOURSELF UP A GOOD SET OF SOCKS!!

I was first introduced to SockGuy socks when they were given to me at a century ride last year. They are all I ride with now! My feet don't get over-heated or sweaty, there are no big seams on the does/ball of foot where I clip in, and they are lightweight. The graphic options are cool too! I picked up the Pirate SockGuy Men's Pirate Socks & Fireball (matches our team shorts/jersey) SockGuy Men's Fireball Socks.

They are inexpensive for what you get, the quality is there and the comfort is unquestionable. I recommend them to my friends and now our team members ride with them!

Hi everyone,

I hate to write a review when I just received these gloves and have NOT done any field testing, but I feel that they deserve at least a simple first impression to help potential buyers.

Why I bought them: I was looking for a cold weather glove to keep my hands warm and dry during winter mtb rides and long winter training rides on my triathlon bike in 30-50F degree weather. Mainly was looking some something non-bulky (i.e. not a fat-fingered insulated glove) with good warmth and wind/waterproof characteristics.

First impression: I think I found great winter riding gloves that are very well constructed, NOT bulky or padded looking, and provide a soft interior with rugged exterior. Seriously, it's a comfortable, semi-form fitting glove that is easy to take on/off.

Fit: I am 5'11" 160lb and wear only Medium size Pearl Izumi clothing and even Medium size Pearl Izumi fingerless biking gloves. AFTER SOME INTERNAL DEBATE, I BOUGHT A SIZE LARGE IN THIS GLOVE. (using a standard ruler, from the tip of my middle finger to the base of my palm directly where my wrist bends is 7.5 inches I went to REI thinking that I was a Medium in all things Pearl only to find out that a size Medium in this glove doesn't leave any extra room. Here's what I mean... Where you run into trouble is the area between the thumb and forefinger. If you buy smaller the glove will be tight in this area and will not fully sit in the "U" portion connecting the thumb and forefinger. On the other hand, the finger length of the Medium fits me to a tee with no wiggle room. I don't kie this for 2 reasons. One is that when you are shifting and griping your hands around the handlebars your fingers firmly press into the tips of the gloves and can be a little too tight. Also, since these gloves are not heavily insulated, there's no way I could fit a glover liner into the Medium size if the weather turned colder. I wanted the option for this so I pcked the Large. With a super thin glove liner on, the Large fits exactly like the Medium. I goes to show that the Large size is only slightly bigger. The rest of the fingers (mainly the thumb) are only MARGINALLY longer at the tips and I did not notice any more "bagginess" throughout the material in the palm or around the fingers. Usually a step up in glove sizes leaves me swimming in the finger tips and wrist cuff, but that is NOT the case with stepping up a size in these Pearls.

Form: As a triathlete I hate all things non-form fitting or "loose". With that being said, these gloves are a happy median between bulky and skin tight. This may be a good or bad thing depending on how well they actually keep my hands warm though once I can test them. Overall the exterior provides excellent dexterity and a SLIGHTY padded look... please do not read this as a fluffy or puffy look, far from it. The OuterDry exterior is a nice matte black and semi textured material giving the impression of a water barrier. The graphics are not flashy but very stylish. The seams look very tight and the overall length of the cuff is very generous. The cuff enclosure is a medium duty Velcro strap with a rubber textured tab which is easy to grab with the other glove on. It will snug down pretty tight too. I have to actually unhook the strap completely to get the glove on. So I appreciate the "tightness" of the cuff right out the gate in case I forget to strap it down. The exterior palm of the glove seems extremely durable and grippy for both road and mtb riding... again it's the quality you come to expect from Pearl Izumi. On the inside, the glove has a nice warm/soft fleece lining and I can't detect any bulges of material around the stitches or seams at the finger tips or around the fingers... feels seamless.

Function: Well I did a couple "scientific" tests. The waterproof test was performed under my kitchen faucet for 2min. I ran water over the palm, backside, and fingers (seams too) and felt no leaks or moisture. The water seemed to bead off rather than saturate the material. The windproof test involved me putting my mouth over the exterior of the glove and blowing with gale force tonsil winds. (come on, we are all friends here, you know you have done this to test out gloves before I blew over the palm, backside, and finger seams and couldn't detect any wind seeping through. Unfortunately, the weather here is still in the mid 60F and dry. The real tests will come later, but I am confident that a "minimalist" glove such as this will perform outstanding on 50mi rides at 20mph in 30-50F weather.

Overall: The Pro Barrier WxB glove seems to be the glove to transition from fall to winter riding. This will also be my new everyday winter glove for hiking and light snow shoveling given its water proof nature. For a cool weather glove I will turn to my Pearl Izumi PRO Soft Shell Lite, for a cold weather non-bulky glove for wet and windy days I hope to use this PRO Barrier WxB glove, and for the deepest freeze days I will use the PRO Soft Shell WxB 3x1 Glove.

Overwhelmed with the fact that I own 3 pairs of Pearl Gloves, there is a 4th pair I am considering: PRO Soft Shell glove. This glove has Primaloft Insulation which the PRO Barrier WxB glove does not mention in its description. Since I have not held the PRO Soft Shell, I can't comment on the greater insulation as a possible trade off to the PRO Barrier WxB's superior waterproof capabilities. There's a good possibility that I might need the extra insulation that the PRO Soft Shell glove offers during those sub-30F degree rides. In that case I might just wear the bulkier PRO Barrier WxB 3x1's without the thin Thermal Lite liner or wear the thin Thermal Lite liner in the PRO Barrier WxB gloves to make a nice snug fit. Decisions, decisions...

Edit: Field test number #1 on 10/20/11. Temperature 43F degree with 14mph wind... wind chill made it feel around 35F degree. I rode 16 miles @ about 16-18mph, which I consider lower end moderate activity (sans the wind). First off, the gloves are fully windproof. No leaks in the seams. Secondly, my hands stayed comfortable. While maintaining a steady spin and talking to the guy next to me (i.e not concentrating on my hands) the heat being produced in the gloves was about perfect to keep my fingers warm. During a 2mi stretch in my aero bars, with stationary hands and strong headwinds, my hands stayed comfortable. The more you keep your hands moving in these gloves the warmer you will stay. At NO point though did my hands ever get HOT or SWEATY. The only time my finger tips got chilly was when I took them off to adjust my helmet and had to regenerate some heat inside the glove to them warm up. I am super anxious to get them out when the temp is legitimately in the 30F's degree or lower. I fear that they might not be enough for sub-30F's with little to no movement in the hands for an extended time. My plan is to use the super thin Thermalite Liners from my Pro Barrier WxB 3x1 gloves in these gloves as that last little bit of insulation needed for low to sub-30F degree rides. I don't want to speculate yet, but the Pearl Izumi PRO Soft Shell glove might be a better cold weather glove due to the Primaloft Insulation... of course the tradeoff is going to be the 100% waterproof/windproof barrier that the PRO Barrier WxB glove offers. For me, I want the 100% water/windproofing at the sake of more insulation because that makes the glove more versatile in real world winter conditions like shoveling snow or scraping off my car windshield where my hands are going to be staying more active but getting really wet. More on that in a couple months...

These gloves have been used in muddy cyclocross races and commuting in downpours. Not a drop of water found on the inside. On their own, these gloves are great in temperatures 40F and more. When it's below 40F, I like to wear a thin wool liner (Smartwool Sopris).

Best Deals for Pearl Izumi Pro Barrier WxB Glove

I am a bicycle commuter who rides a bit more than 30 miles mile a day year round in rainy Portland, Oregon. I tried a few different gloves before finally giving these a try. I've been testing them for several months now in a variety of conditions, and I can happily say that they have fulfilled their promise of waterproof. I've ridden in snow, downpours, and of course the famous Portland smattering, and am happy to report that my hands stay as dry as can be.

A few things to note though if looking to buy these gloves:

1. These gloves are absolutely waterproof. However they are not excessively warm. They are relatively thin, and depending on your tolerance for cold hands, you will likely need liner gloves in colder weather.

2. They have a durable, leather palm, but there is minimal padding. Hands can go to sleep on longer rides.

3. They seem to run big. I have another pair of Pearl Gloves in Medium which fit me perfectly, but I needed a small in these.

All in all, I am thrilled with these gloves, and since it typically isn't that cold here in Portland, they are perfect for my needs.

I got these for cyclocross in Colorado and they have been great. They are totally water proof and with a liner like a thin wool glove work to well down to the teens.

This is the only pair of pants that after getting and trying on in my office I decided they fit so well and were so wonderfully light that I should order a second pair in preparation for my trip to the Galapogos and Amazon jungle in a couple weeks. My girlfriend also bought a pair based on my high praise they didn't have a women version or sizing but she ordered the smallest size, 30, and will try those. For 30 bucks it is a very good bargain. REI has them on 'sale' for 60 bucks.

I owned a pair of pants like these years ago and have had a difficult time finding another pair that was lightweight and comfortable. Well these pants fit the bill with a few extra surprises. They are light weight, breathable and still solid enough to wear in the winter. They offer about the same protection from the cold as a pair of jeans. Not bad considering. I can't wait to try them on the golf course this spring!

Honest reviews on ExOfficio Men's BugsAway Ziwa Conv Pant,Short

These hiking/outdoor pants are awesome. They fit perfect. They are super light. They are very high quality. I went in the river knee deep and they were dried out in no time. As far as the bug repelling aspect I cant really say because I haven't had one on my pants since purchasing these. I guess that means they work as advertised.

These are great outdoors pants. I use them when doing light hiking, camping, yard work, etc. I've never had any mosquito or bug bites on my legs while wearing these for the past year. They breath well and are loose enough fit to keep me cool even when I'm sweating. I actually think they're pretty comfortable and recently took them on a 1 week long car trip, was very handy to convert them from pants/shorts.

They wash clean and don't really hold strong sweat odors. They do fairly well in the rain, but will soak through eventually. But in light rains where you're mainly vertical they work great no need for an additional rain shell.

I took away a star mainly for one reason : I've found numerous unraveling threads on these, with less then one years of use and less then 10 washings I expect more from 60$ pants. My only other gripe with these pants, as with all ExOfficio products, is they're expensive.

I usually where a 31" inseam (or 32" when 31" isn't available). These were 30" stated from ExOfficio, and they fit me pretty well. They do ride up some when I'm sitting cross legged or something with my knees bent, otherwise when walking they're just fine. They do sell longer inseam versions if you need something larger then 30".

I purchased these to replace a very old pair of Van's that were purchased in 2008 and have seen some heavy use. However when I received these in from UPS. As I went to put them on with out even lacing them up I felt like I put a size 15 on. I have returned these although I loved the way they were styled. I am ordering another pair from DC but size 17.

My girlfriend who wears a size 8 we went to local mall and she ended up walking out with several DC shoes but all in size 9. I should of figured that it was like that for all sizes.

The shoe fits UK size 15 and USA size 16 I wonder if they really aren't just size 15's with the wrong label on them.

Buy Easton Youth Extra Protective Sliding Short

Easton Youth Extra Protective Sliding Short, White, Large
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

I bought this for my 10 year old to replace his old, now too small Adidas and U.A. sliding shorts. I just bought another Adidas pair at Dick's too that doesn't have the padding of this product. I wanted this Easton pair because of the extra padding since my son is quick and his coaches have him steal often. First time he tried to use it, he told his mom he couldn't get the cup in. I figured he just couldn't push the rubber edge into the fabric pocket and I'd just have to work it in. However, I just tried too and found the cup pocket is only about 3 inches long and the top of the cup sticks up to the waistband, way over the top of the cup pocket, plus the bottom of the cup pocket stops about 2 inches above the crotch. In short, the cup pocket is absolutely useless. I think these would be great sliding shorts and the price is about $10+ less than similarly padded shorts at Dick's, but only if your son won't use a cup.

This was a good short, but I can't find a cup to fit in it. Everything is too big. Probably going to have to send back. Went to dick's sporting goods to try all the ones they sell. None of them worked.

I bought these sliding shorts for our baseball-playing son, who has removed the skin on his hip several times while sliding. Although I prefer Mizuno for his baseball pants, the only Mizuno sliding shorts I could find were through a private seller with a shipping fee. I decided to try these Easton shorts because I could get them in two days with Prime.

These fit true to size on our son he's thin and wears a youth medium. They fit close but not snug, which allows his pants to fit properly and keeps the shorts from sliding up. The padding on the thighs is adequate, but should have come just slightly higher up on his hips. We won't even try to use the cup pocket, since none of these shorts hold a hard cup in place well enough. He'll wear a separate jock and cup underneath the shorts. The waistband is wide and at a good level for comfort.

Overall these are decent shorts, but could have been awesome if the padding had gone higher up for better coverage.
