I had originally ordered the Mediums but they were too small. I am tall and wear size 32 jeans. The Medium shorts were very small around the waist and in length. I sent them back and reordered the Large. What I received in return was almost an entirely different product all together. The Mediums were made in the USA and seemed to be of high quality. It's unfortunate they didn't fit.... The Large ones fit better despite the spandex underneath being too wide for my legs... but the shorts are different. They are now made in China and I believe any new order from Amazon will get this Chinese version as the old stock is likely sold out at this point. Don't be fooled by the price, you get what you pay for. Instead of getting a discount, you're getting a different product. I paid $27. The shorts are similar to the ones pictured but there are differences. The stitching is different and is now solid black on black. The material feels inferior and the tags are different on the new shorts. I am disappointed, but if I pretend that I never saw the made in USA version, these shorts are OK for the price I paid.

I'm an older yogi in my 50's but do Power Yoga and Ashtanga. These worked better for me by far than any other short. XL is great for a size 36-38 waist. Used them in Costa Rica last week in heat and humidity and they performed great. They are flexible and not too revealing. In fact, I didn't want to wear anything else and am going to order a few more for the summer here in Florida.

Would agree with the other reviewer that fit has changed slightly the contrast stitching is the original product and is better. New product is a slightly less roomy in the outer shorts. Liner is great! However, NO shorts should be $54! Wait until they're $38

These are some of my favorite shorts. They are far better then anything from the large brands. I now have two pairs and most likely will get a third so I always have a pair handy.

The main advantage of these shorts is that they can be used for any kind of sports activity running, weights, whatever. They are quite flexible, and the style won't draw any attention. For serious yoga practice, however, I'd probably go with something else. The inner liner is a little bit peculiar, wrapping around the upper thighs like boxer briefs, which tends to bunch up as you stretch. It's stretchy enough that it's not uncomfortable, but with such a complete inner liner, what's the point of the external shorts? The external shorts end up being just a sort of modesty screen maybe they preserve your sense of style, but they serve no purpose. So for serious practice, I'd probably go with a more spandex-style item like the men's JD shorts. Also worth noting that the shorts have no pockets at all. Not a big deal when doing yoga, but since, as I said, the main advantage here is that you can use them for other things, a small pocket somewhere might have been nice.
