I just got on Amazon to order some Minus33 T-shirts and realized this top had no reviews, so I just had to remedy that situation. Come on people, these are the Apple computers of the pullover world. I bought two of these a couple years ago and absolutely love them. I did a more in depth review of the heavier weight model of this shirt and what I said there applies to this lighter weight model as well. I am a relic in that I grew up on wool and never did make the switch to synthetics (which, IMHO are cold, clammy and smell like last weeks diesel spill). Not only are these warm, fuzzy and wonderfully cuddly, but when you do finally wear them out (which takes years), you can compost them and grow vegetables (if your daughter isn't cutting them up and making cute little handbags which is what my daughter does). Try that with a recycled pop bottle! After 30 years of scavenging through second hand and army surplus stores to get my wool fix, it is so nice to see that wool is back in vogue and available brand spanking new. I hope Minus33 is around making these for a long, long time to come.

I bought this for cycling on cold mornings. It seems to be a bit warmer than my other lightweight synthetic base layers. It's never too cold here in SoCA, in a colder area you may want a heavy weight. For the price it is a good value, and appears to be well made. Soft and supple, no itch here! Being tall, 6'6'' I'd like the sleeve lenght to be a bit longer...But for the avg. size person I'm sure it's fine.

I have been really impressed with my Minus33 wool gear. It's held up very well, seems extremely durable. The knit is tight. The wool is merino and of very high quality, not scratch in the least. Every bit as nice as my wool gear costing 2-3x more.

The wool is amazing and I wear the shirt very often, however, I found the cut of Smartwool to be better. I'm only 5'8 and the sleeves and torso length of my medium are kind of short.

I don't regret buying them as it was my first wool purchase, however, if I could go back, I would save the money and buy Smartwool.

Bought this as a base-layer for my winter cycling. The shirt is very soft and has held it's size and shape well through the first couple of washes. The shirt fits well yet allows a full range of motion. Can wear it for several days on end and still not odor. Much better in this aspect than my other technical gear. Retains warmth even when wet, a plus also. The shirt retains heat very well and has allowed me to stop using my normal fleece mid-layer on days with temperatures down into the teens. I should note also that this is the first wool product I have owned that I can actually wear without being driven nuts by the itching.
