As far as someone moving to the east during the winter after living in san diego for 8 years I have been freezing. I had gone through all sorts of combos of gloves and clothing but found these to be the perfect gloves and if it gets colder all you have to do is use them as a layer.The gloves are made or a stretchy material that provide a good fit on large hands. The color works well
