This is a cross trainer with a court type bottom. It is very good for agility and lateral movements. If you wear orthotics, the orthotic raises your foot up to high for comfort. I wear orthodics and that is only drawback to this shoe.

If you buy regular comfort type inserts they will work in this shoe. For the price you can't beat them. Shoe runs true to Asics sizing and is much better than most cross trainers for feel and comfort.

Although I do not use this shoe for training... I recently had neck surgery and am now using a stand up desk at my office as part of a new active & healthy initiative. In switching from traditional dress shoes to something more comfortable to be standing in for 8-10 hours a day... these have been great! Thank you!

I've had the shoe for a week now. The fit and comfort are excellent. I've owned a number of ASICS shoes in the past, but those have all been running shoes. I had to quit running a few years ago due to my knees, but I still hit the elliptical walker at the gym 4 or 5 days a week and this training shoe is more comfortable than anything else I have owned. I have an average width foot so someone with a wide foot won't get the same fit.

not for some one with wide feet. otherwise its a good product, nice quality. unfortunately not for me.

will only buy another ASICS though.
