This is a great jerseybright... and extremely comfortable. Very strong construction and the fit was like it was made for me. I'm 5'8" 175#, maybe a 42 chest and went with medium and it fits like a glove. I love the longer section in the back of the jersey, doesn't ride up on cold rides. Very happy with this jersey.

I have been wearing Pearl Izumi jerseys for years now. This is a good midweight Jersey with a brushed interior and smooth exterior. Sleeves are cut a bit narrower which offers more effective thermal comfort. Jerseys with sleeves that are too loose (esp in the wrist-forearm region) permit uncomfortable drafts to circulate during colder rides. Also, compared to other brands, Pearl Izumi long sleeve jerseys are known for longer arm lengths-proper for cycling-which makes for a much better fit. In the moderate price range, I usually don't even buy other brands anymore.

I looked at the sizing information and figured the X-Large would be ok....wrong, too tight.
Sizing chart says an X-Large is for chest: 46-48 and waist: 40-42. That would be me at 6'2" and 220 pounds. The jersey is skin tight and my man boobs and belly are displayed in a rather unflattering way.
If you have a nice abdominal 6-pack then follow the sizing chart, you'll look great. Regular folk, bump it up a size.

I bought this item for my husband for Christmas and he has used on many bike trips. He says it fits perfect, feels good, he has found it will keep him warm enough only chilly mornings but not too warm. The pockets on the back of the jacket allow him to carry extra drinks for longer trips he has liked this feature. It has been through several washes and looks like new washed with detergent only on delicate, no softener and hung. Great product!

I ride in FL to and from work about 10 miles each way. I absolutely cannot take the cold. This top along with and under shirt and some solid tights on my legs Pearl iZUMi Men's Elite Thermal Tight kept me perfectly warm all winter riding in temps around 40 degrees.
