Well, I am a die hard Descente Aero-X fan but this short comes pretty close. The leg are longer than my Aero-X which have an 8 inch inseam but the padding is really comfortable, and the material fits nicely. I may try their shorter version unless by some miracle Descente is available in the US again.

I have no cycling experience but after my first spin class my "sit" bones hurt so bad I wanted to cry. I realized I needed some shorts asap. I ordered these based on the description (and cheap price). They are awesome. Fit perfectly and had adequate padding in the right places without being bulky or too hot.

I am was very disappointed in these shorts. Notice I am using past tense since I had to toss these after wearing them twice. The fabric is so thin that friends thought they were 'well worn.'
