I bought 3 of these a few weeks ago skiing in New Hampshire on a bitterly cold, windy day. At first, the kids (ages 5, 7 and 9) did not want to wear them, but when I showed them the tag and told them the story of the turtles who wear them to keep warm in Vermont, they all loved the turtle neck tube shape and they all put it on. I bought one for me, too, and it kept all 4 of us very warm despite the wind. I like that it is easy to pull up over the nose on cold days and wear just around the neck on not so cold days. It fit nicely on the neck below the helmet, too. My face and my goggles never got steamy or wet from the breath being caught behind it either. I have washed them 3 times so far and they have kept their shape. Best of all, the fabric is very soft and not scratchy on the kids' face or necks (and my kids have sensitive skin). I highly recommend these.

This material is pretty nasty and my daughter will not tolerate this. Too bad I can not return it without paying a fee lesson learned. But do not waste your time with this one.

I have had one of these for myself for a long time, so I knew that they are great for keeping your neck warm without unravelling and falling off every two minutes like a scarf.

I was hesitant to buy one for my 15-month-old baby in the kid's size because I was afraid it would be too big. I was wrong it fits her perfectly! So much so, in fact, that I'm surprised that other reviewers say that they use them on older children. To me it looks like it would be too small for a 4-year-old, but I could be wrong.

My baby doesn't love having it pulled over her head. If I could make one improvement (or if I were handy with a needle and thread) I would have it open on one side and close with velcro or something.

Two thumbs up from a 10-year-old girl who uses this as a staple of her winter wardrobe. Her nose and ears chill easily, but there are no complaints when she has her Turtle Fur warmer on board. She wears it high over her nose and mouth, leaving little exposed under her hood. She's used it down to six Fahrenheit and a stiff breeze and been comfortable on the slopes and her walks to school. It's too thick to do this during hard aerobic activity; at these times she pushes it down around her neck or takes it off until she settles down again.
