When ordering be sure to order 2 sizes above if you want a comfortable "snug" fit. I am a man 6'2" and 220 pounds with athletic build and 2 sizes above normal size was perfect "snug" fit. Does tremendous job blocking sun. Have used it 4 entire weekends in copious amount of sun with no stinging sun burn after. Buy two if you can find 2 sizes above your normal. All brands are made small for tight fit. I bought XXXL and it fits perfect. Everyday shirts I am XL.

This is decent and affordable rashguard. Relative to others I own, the fabric is very thin, so don't expect much insulation but this makes it better for warm water. It's meant to be worn for surfing, scuba and other activities that require a super-snug fit. It's essentially a second-skin that keeps the sun from burning you or things from scratching/chafing you. I'm 6'0", 165 with an athletic build and fairly long torso, and the medium fits me perfectly. It feels less tight once you're in the water, but still very snug. In my experience, I buy the same size in rash guard as I do for t-shirts. If you want something loose, buy something else that's not meant to have a contoured fit.

I wear this when I'm kayaking and it's great. It's like having a second skin. Very comfortable. I especially like the idea that the fabric is a sun block. I only gave this 4 stars because if I hadn't read the other reviews I probably would have ordered it in my normal size which is a large. Glad I ordered XX-large. I'll update this review when the weather gets real warm, it's the cold time of the year for us now, temperatures low 70's upper 60's.

i bought this RashGuard to surf in dominican republic beaches, the sun here is really hot so i wanted to protect my skin better than just with sunblock. this is my best purchase yet! i've been using it almost weekly and it's in perfect conditions, a little thight for me 6'3" 195lb but i use it anyways and it's the best!

If you want a rashguard for life this is your choice!

A substantial portion of the reviews I read for several brands of rash guards indicated that they tended to be smaller than the their rated sizes. Personally, I found the O'Neill shirt I ordered to be right on the money in this department. It fits fine around my body, and is plenty long enough, too.

My purchase arrived in excellent condition and in an amazingly short time ... considering that I live in Japan. I'm more than satisfied, I'm delighted!
