I have been a maxpedition customer for a long time and still rate them as one of the best. But this is the third item I have gotten from 5.11 and you just cant beat their quality and functionability. this is just a great, simple, cool looking gun case that does just what it is suppose to do. I also have to bug out bags from them and they are the best on the market barr none. Dont hesitate to buy this model

For my specific use the case bulges a little when fully loaded. Other similar, more expensive cases have more padding and is less "bulgy" when fully loaded. But for the price, and the quality of build. This 5.11 single case will definitely get the job done. It may be better suited for smaller, slimmer items or for simple carry for very few items. Other than that, the build quality is outstanding and lockable.

What keeps me from rating this cleanly designed and EDC-fashionable pistol case from being a 5-star review is the velcroed pocket. The long strip of hook field for that pocket will rub abrasively on your skin as your hand goes into and exits out of that pocket. Plus, opening and closing it is not as easy as working with a zipper, like the zippered pocket that faces the velcroed one. Otherwise, I like the padded and ruggedly handsome case. Its low profile and slim size inconspicuously carries and protects my oversized smartphone: the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. Then, the case still has additional room for other few small items like a wallet, writing utensils, a notebook, cash, etc.

Finally, as a special note, I would like to thank Amazon for its great customer service. After a full day of use, I couldn't stand the cosmetic defect that was on my case any longer. Now thanks to Amazon, I have a nice replacement. So 4 stars for the case, but 5 stars for Amazon.

I bought this pistol case for my glock 19. My glock fits in the pouch perfectly. I mostly use this case just to hold my gun, and the whole thing fits in the 5.11 range qualifier bag as well. The stitching is very neat, and the material is very sturdy. I would recommend this to any first time gun owners that just want something to hold your pistol. It is better than using the hard shell case, since they can be pretty bulky. Also, the handles seem to have a steel rod stitched in there, so it's very durable.
