The 5.11 Single Pistol Mag Pouch is a functional and durable pouch designed to hold one pistol magazine. It is made from 1000D nylon which is rugged and will take a lot of abuse. The Velcro cover is very effective and secure. The pouch is attached with the 5.11 Slickstick molle attachment system which is very easy to use and fast to put on or take off of your gear. The one caveat is that the Slickstick secures using a snap button which can come undone which is why I rated it 4 stars and not 5. If possible, I recommend weaving the Slickstick through your molle gear so that it should remain in place even if the button unsnaps. While it is designed to hold one pistol magazine I have also used it to hold a SureFire 6P LED flashlight with no problems.
Overall, a decent and rugged pouch that I recommend. Just remember that the snap button can unsnap so make sure your gear is secured.
