What can I say, Gore really does make high quality products. And although I can't afford them at retail, Amazon continues to have great prices. This jersey is not like your typical polyester jersey. It is more like a soft microfiber, almost like the smooth microfiber cloth to clean glasses. But it is stretchy and really wicks away sweat. Note that it is a "race fit" which means that if you are used to a large fitting pretty relaxed, this will not be like that. This will fit tight (as it should). So if you want something more loose fitting, go up a size.

I use this jersey for training rides. I like the compression, but beware if you have an athletic build. You'd think it would be designed for athletic folks given the nature of cycling, but it's really small on the shoulders and arms. Particularly, the elastic around the waist and arm holes is really strong even though the armholes are quite small. I have pretty big arms and shoulders but I'm not huge or anything. The waist is about 30-31" on the medium which is fine, but if you have a boxier build, again I can see the really heavy elastic causing comfort issues.The pattern is also strange and, aside from the poor cut, accentuates how badly it fits.

The zipper is very nice, and the zipper liner can tend to get caught/block it but doesn't get stuck in the zipper (i.e. just unzip a little bit and you're good to go again). The reflective piping is also very nice, though I wish there was more along the back. Finally, ventilation directly to the armpits is a really nice feature.

I was disappointed with this jersey. Nice features, but not the ones that really count. Even at 40 bucks still not worth it to me.

This is awesome for long rides. Pockets are plenty large for a pump and zipper pocket its great for keys. This dries extremely fast so its never even damp.

Just got back from a fast 20 mile ride and I really like the jersey. It does run a bit small in the shoulders like other have said, compared to my other medium-sized cycling jerseys, but I like it. The color is great. I came riding in at dusk and my wife said she had no problem seeing me. The only thing that surprised me a bit was how much it showed when I perspired. It's not a bit deal, I read my bike to sweat and I sweat a lot, but other jerseys I have don't show it when I sweat.

Bottom line, great jersey with really fit and quality that's going to show when you've been working out.

I bought this shirt for my son. He is pretty thin but I bought the large because these bike shirts seem to run smaller than normal type shirts. He says it is just great. He especially likes the zipper opening. He lives in California where it sometimes gets pretty warm for biking.
