The ExOfficio Geotrek'R shirt is perhaps one of the best shirts I have owned. Why? Well, for one thing the materials of which the shirt is constructed are VERY durable, being made from rip-stop nylon. This was the biggest factor for which I purchased this shirt. You can't go wrong with nylon; the stuff lasts forever. Furthermore, the shirt feels like your wearing nothing at all, for it is super lightweight and very breathable. The shirt feels as though it is a dual purpose article of clothing; semi-casual wear or something you'd wear when your camping or making a day hike. I purchased this shirt to help me feel comfortable and look professional while working in the EXTREMELY hot climate of Iraq. After wearing the shirt all day and being outside in 115 degree weather, the shirt looked as though I had just purchased it and I was comfortable because it didn't look as though I was wearing a shirt that was sweat stained or dirty, despite the austere conditions in which I found myself. The shirt is wickable, has a 30+UPF sun guard protection rating (meaning the shirt protects your skin from the sun's rays and withstands being in the sun without becoming damaged itself, such as fading.), and the shirt will dry rather quickly if it becomes wet. I tested this by completely submersing the shirt in water and letting it dry outside in 90 degree weather (which is night time temperature in Iraq!!!). It was completely dry within approximately 10 minutes. The shirt is wrinkle resistant, so it always has a nice, ironed look.
I could not find anything wrong with the shirt. The stitching and cut of the shirt is meticulous and well made. I think the only thing ExOfficio could have done better is offer a broader selection of colors for the shirt because most of the colors offered for the shirt seem a bit extreme or radical. Other than that, the shirt is the best around in quality and construction. You won't go wrong in purchasing this shirt.

I just received this shirt and it looks well-made and has a nice casual styling! BUT...I normally wear "large" size shirts, but this one is too small for me. The shirt has a very "slim cut" shape/size, so be aware of that when you order. I'm going to give this shirt to my son, who normally wears medium size shirts and I'll order one size larger than normal (Extra Large) and it should fit well.Best Deals for ExOfficio Men's GeoTrek'r Short Sleeve Shirt

The GeoTrek'r line of shirts by ExOfficio is the best shirt ever for travel. They are very light for packing, they wash easily in a sink, dry quickly, and the wrinkles just fall off of them within minutes of putting them on. No ironing needed. When I pull it out of the suitcase, I think, uh-oh, it's a little wrinkled, but I lay it out, rub my hands over the wrinkles, put it on, and when I am ready to leave the room, I look in the mirror... no wrinkles. Great shirt.I especially like the angled side pocket. The pocket is the cat's meow, what really what makes the shirt exactly what I need. I tried Exofficio's Trip'R style (Exofficio Men's Trip'r Stripe Short Sleeve Shirt) with the pocket access on top, and I was always having trouble getting what I wanted out of my pocket. This GeoTrek'r version is MUCH better. It has a very large pocket. I can even throw my sunglasses in there and zip it up. Normally my sunglasses stay on my head, but sometimes, just saying, they fit in there. I love it for when I am in train stations, airports, checking into hotels, etc. My passport, tickets, confirmation printouts, etc. can be slipped into the pocket and instantly retrieved when needed. I am taking my family on an around the world trip next month, so I am ordering a few new ones just to have some other colors to wear. I can generally travel with just two short sleeve versions like this one, and one long sleeve version. I might carry a third short sleeve one this trip, again, just to have another color to wear. I love these shirts and highly recommend them for travelers.
