I love these knee pads! They are a great fit and are very comfortable for a day in the saddle. The size guide was right on for me, I was on the larger side of a medium but they fit like a glove.

My only qualm is with Amazon regarding this product, be careful before you buy! I paid $111 with tax thinking I would be getting 2 knee pads for that price (one for my left leg and one for my right), well i was wrong. I only got 1 knee pad for this price, in other words they expect me to pay $222 for a set of pads which is beyond ridiculous. I am sorry that I am venting about Amazon on the page of such a great product but i thought it was worth a mention.

I am 6'2" and 190#. The medium fits me perfectly. I wear it on my bare skin and over med weight merino wool baselayers. It fits equally well in both situations. I bought these to protect my knees when sailboat racing. They get banged up from crawling around on the deck. They are great and I forget I am wearing them. They are better than hard plastic pads because they do not slip when my knee is resting on the fiberglass deck of the boat. They offer protection when I am rolling my knees to either side. I do not think they will ever wear out. Contrary to what others have said, 2 pads come in a package. If you only get one, it is a mistake from the shipping department.

Well made and has a quality feel to it. I was in between two sizes and went for the the smaller. However, it did pinch in the fold of the knee, even though it felt better after some breaking in I decided to change to a medium size, wich feels better. Crash tested once... very good protection.

After banging my knees mountain biking just about every time out, I needed knee pads in a bad way. I tried the 661 Kyle Straight's and returned them finding the flexibility to be limited. I saw pros riding these, and after getting over the sticker shock, I couldn't be more pleased with fit and the range of motion is really good. I got these in winter and they fit right over my tights and stay put, trying them without the tights them seem to stay put and, again, give a full range of peddling. Amazon had these nearly 1/2 the price I saw them around the web. These look great, ride great, and seem to be worth the price.

I really wanted to like these pads. Tried them twice.

After about 1/2 hour into the ride the back part of the upper strap started to rub underneath of my knees.

The stitching is very thick nylon like. I had to take them off after 1 hour.

I have tried them on 2 rides, always reajusting hoping to find a comfortable fit.

I do not believe this is a question of braking them in.

3 days after and I still have tender skin at the place of the strap.

I am a bit disappointed. This was an expensive toy I am not going to use.
