It seems I have every ailment known to human feet from collapsed arches, to bunnions to pantar fascia to bone spurs even hammer toes. Ascis seems to be the only manufacturer that addresses every one of these. I have both their running shoes and these cross trainers, and they are both great, but living in SE Alaska, there is a substantial portion of the year when mesh shoes (the running shoes) are not suitable. So I went searching for leather uppers, and ended up with the GEL-Precision TR Cross-Training Shoe.

They feel like cradles for my feet. The Gel cushioning in the soles minimizes pain from the bone spurs. The width in the toe area is adequate to not bother the bunions (most of the time), and I am able to wear them for extended periods of time, which in and of itself is pretty unusual. Usually my feet are sccreaming for a shoe change half-way through the day.

I am not really in to all the snazzy designs they put on athletic shoes these days, but the silver on the white is pretty toned down and aceptible to me. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone with problem feet. And it was great to get them with free shipping from amazon.com.

I've commented on the Asics Gel shoes before (mesh version). This all leather version has the same great qualities of a great fit from the heel to the toe box. There is ample room for orthodics and an arch that is well supported. These are my go to everywhere walking shoe! From beach to backyard and hikes on mountain trails, these shoes continue to support my feet and lend stability on most wet slippery surfaces. The only exception I have found is wet ceramic tile where the Asics are a bit slippery. I haven't found a shoe yet that isn't slippery on wet ceramic.

most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have very wide feet and most shoes hurt along the side. These are nice and roomy.

For reference I wear a 7 E in Clarks shoes. Based on the reviews I saw here, I decided to size up and bought the 7.5 2E Asics. They did fit but with zero room to spare.

Otherwise, nice workout shoe. It does get a little hot as you'd expect from a leather shoe.
