The medium fits my 32 inch waist perfectly. The length is good too -not too long for hot days, and not embarrassingly short. The fabric is very light.

Not bad for the price. The half-split keeps them from riding up, and they're cut low enough to not get too many complaints from the fashion police, in these days of knee-length "running" shorts.

The one problem is the key pocket is in the back, and is too shallow to be reliable. Fortunately if the key falls out, the liner serves as a backup key pocket.

I bought these as part of a costume for Tough Mudder, thinking they'd be in pieces by the end of a 12 mile run with 20+ obstacles including mud, barbed wire, wall climbing, jumping over fire, and swimming. Not only was I surprised at how they seemed completely not restrictive, but they were in perfect shape, albeit rather muddy, by the end. These are definitely going to be part of my Obstacle Course runs standard for many events to come.

I have many running shorts and I try to buy items that will keep me from getting hit by a car or at least be visible in low light. However....HOLY COW!...If you wear these, they can see you from space! This color isn't just loud, it's MARDI GRAS LOUD! LOL They are so bright, Stevie Wonder could see you coming in these shorts! So I bought another one! Other than that, the fit is good and the quality is there. They are light and great on the support side, without bunching up when you start to sweat.
